    Tofu Rice Bowl
    Sam E.

I am pleased to announce that Dykon's still got it! Same owners, pretty much same food except ché is no longer served. You can place your order at the kiosk or up front and after a bit of a wait, your order is ready! In a span of two days I managed to get the egg cream coffee, an Ube matcha and a tofu rice bowl: all excellent in their own right. The egg cream coffee is luxurious, the Ube matcha has plenty Ube flavor. And the tofu bowl with that unidentified clear sauce is still so dang tasty! The tofu has actual flavor to it and the pickles and cucumbers give it a fresh lightness. Overall, cannot recommend this place enough!

Bambu has changed to Dykon with the same sweet owners! Same menu too! The counter was pulled back a bit to give more space for seating area and decorations. There are single cushion pads to sit if you are waiting for your food. There is a round couch so groups of friends can sit together. There are still standard tables/chairs to sit and eat. We got: - Coconut Matcha - Loaded Fries - Grilled Chicken Vermicelli Bowl My eyes were bigger than my stomach. I couldn't finish all that food!

used to be bambu, not sure if it's under new management or what happened. most of the menu is the same, except the drink menu has changed drastically (there used to be very unique vietnamese dessert drinks that my mother loved). There's now a digital kiosk to self-order and food still takes some time, but the workers are quite pleasant. They now added ube bubble waffle in addition to the pandan, which I'm obsessed with.

I got a tiger milk drink, which was very good. I called in my order, then picked it up. It was ready when I got there, about 10 minutes later. The inside is pretty and spotless, with enough space that no one is on top of each other--a few tables to sit at. I didn't try the food but I'm sure you won't go wrong ordering here.

Dykon is seriously a hidden gem if you're craving Vietnamese food and bubble tea all in one spot. Their garlic noodles are a must-order--rich, buttery, and packed with flavor. Pair that with Spring rolls as Extras and you've got a full-on comfort meal. And don't sleep on the drinks... the bubble tea menu is HUGE. Prices are reasonable for the portion sizes, and the menu has something for everyone--whether you want something light like summer rolls or something more filling. Overall: great food, great drinks, quick service, and perfect for takeout or a casual bite.

My favorite long island bubble tea spot, great banh mi and fries as well as rich flavorful bubble tea. Owners are very kind people and very friendly! We come often.

Best Vietnamese food around. It's hard to find a truly authentic Vietnamese food in Suffolk county. It's a must try.

My last visit (Friday afternoon) I ordered a Medium Wintermelon Milk Tea (you can get it without the milk), Grilled Chicken Garlic Noodles and a Grilled Shrimp Rice Bowl. Everything was delicious and very flavorful though I felt the Garlic Noodles were a bit on the saltier side and the Wintermelon Milk Tea was a bit too sweet (and I have a sweet tooth). There were a lot of flavorful chicken pieces and the shrimp came with about 7-8 pieces, also very flavorful. They have 3 different sauces that I was given since I was eating there and just returned it to the counter once done. My favorite of the 3 was the more liquidy one though they all tasted great. The place is located in a strip mall with a lot of free parking. There's some seating inside and one small table outside. It's spacious and clean. They have great background music playing and their unisex bathroom is spacious and clean as well. The food came out in a reasonable time and the staff (I'm assuming maybe the owners) were also very pleasant.

We went for the lunch special which had two options: $12 lunch with choice of appetizers & main or $15 lunch which is the same as the $12 option but just includes a choice of drink. We both got Vietnamese Coffee. I got the iced and she got the hot version. The iced Vietnamese coffee is already premixed, but the hot version they give a side of the condensed milk so you can add as much or little you want. I tried their spring rolls which had a nice crisp bite. It was also served with pickled daikon and carrots for a nice refresher. For the entree I got the pho bo vein which had beef meatballs as the protein. The basil, jalapeño slices, bean sprouts and lime slice are on the side, so you can add as much to your liking. The noodles were nice and bouncy. The broth was light and flavorful. We always have great service every time we go. Definitely will be back in the future.

Had Bun Xao and Pho Ga, and my son meant to order rare beef pho but accidentally ordered beef stew, but he had zero regrets it was delicious with huge chunks of beef. I've never had Vietnamese beef stew before but it was very much like American except with vermicelli noodles. My Pho was excellent, but I would have appreciated a bit more protein and it seemed to be lacking a little in saltiness could have been light on salt, soy or fish sauce. Easily remedied at the table. The bun xao also would have appreciated a bit more protein. I cant emphasize enough these were minor issues. Pricing was very good, no complaints.

Service was friendly and helpful and the establishment was very clean including the restrooms. We started out with a pot of hot tea which was so welcomed. The beef stew pho was excellent, warming, and fresh. The fried rice was delicious. Parking can be challenging to find, but other than that we would highly recommend. We are looking forward to trying many more dishes here.

It's very chic, nice and clean on the inside and the guy at the counter was super helpful. I started with the chicken wontons which were soooo good, had a nice strong ginger and garlic sauce which was so beautifully flavorful. I got the veggie based pho since the beef broth had fish sauce in it (I have an aversion to any type of seafood) so the broth itself lacked some flavor which is to be expected but the beef was nice and thinly sliced, the vermicelli was great and the sauces were really good too. It was also served HOT which really cleared my sinuses and felt very refreshing. Overall a great experience and will definitely be coming back! Those wontons were definitely the highlight for me.

Overall though it's a small space, well lit, clean with a nice ambiance. Food? In this instance I ordered two dishes which are what I consider mainstays of any Vietnamese restaurant... I ordered a Bahn Mi and Pho. I have to say, on both counts they scored hits with the food. Both were well done and tasty and there are no complaints there. I would recommend them for people liking good Vietnamese. I'd even say it wouldn't be a bad place to dine in, I think they had a radio and TVs going and I'd be a little reluctant only because of noise level but I did like the bright space and the layout and color design of the restaurant. It's a modern and very compelling space to be in for a meal.

He also pushed me to pay with credit card even though I wanted to pay cash. Getting to the food - I got bun bo hue, pho, and egg rolls - I am Vietnamese and I've gotten takeout from places countless times. You are ALWAYS supposed to separate the bean sprouts and mint and lime from the dish. Those are supposed to be optional for the customer. THIS PLACE COMBINED THE NOODLES WITH THE BEAN SPROUTS AND LIME!!! You are not supposed to do that! You are always supposed to package them separately. On top of that, the pho broth lacked a lot of depth of flavor. Also, pho is supposed to come with tripe, eye of round, beef ball, which this pho had none of. Bun bo hue is supposed to be spicy and have pig blood, which this one didn't. It was also not flavorful and was just lacking. The egg rolls also did not taste right and the fish sauce was off. I'm very disappointed with my experience here. This is not an authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Long Island.

I had plans to order the same sandwich but my other niece said I should try her favorite, the Angus Beef Short Ribs platter. I'm into a new dish, sold! I ordered the Angus Beef Short Ribs platter with vermicelli noodles. For the table we ordered the famous Shrimp Spring Rolls as well as chicken wings. Both dishes came out fast, very fresh and enough to share. I guess there was a mix up in the kitchen, My rib platter came with rice and my sister in laws dish had the vermicelli noodles. Not a big deal, I didn't feel like swapping items. The Short Ribs had a terrific marinade and they were grilled to perfection. This was a nice treat to eat. I was noticing the other customers, they are all just in the zone getting their Rolling Spring Roll fix. This is more of a casual eatery, like a pizza place. Zip in and zap out, no tablecloths at this spot. Overall, everyone enjoyed their food. My niece was happy so that makes me happy. I would love to try their Vietnamese coffee!
