The instructors are top-notch and I've loved every class I've taken, as each instructor's style is unique. While there are elements which are standard for every yoga class no matter where you go, the class experience here is just different... and elevated compared to a park district class. It's all about the details, and Beth has thought of every single one. There are environmentally friendly considerations throughout. I've done yoga at a bunch of places--including yoga studios, east bank club and other health clubs--but have never enjoyed it as much as I do here. They have 2 weekly classes each of which is 2 hours long, which initially I found intimidating, but I actually like it now and people come and go at various times anyway. It is one large class--like 50-60 people and I enjoy that there is a variety of levels and races, and ages participating. There is usually a lecture of some sort during class while posing, and there is an authenticity to these classes that I've found lacking at other places, which feel more like places that have jumped on the yoga bandwagon. I leave here with a peacefulness which I've never experienced before from a class. I actually debated not reviewing this place because I like it so much and didn't want the whole world to head over there--but in the name of greater good for mankind, am posting! Two things I would point out, you need to bring your own mat and it should be a thick one.

I really appreciated her telling me about the socks instead of me having to buy them at the studio. She was very helpful. The instructor Taylor L did a great job and asked me about my injuries prior to class. She had excellent accommodations and remember what I told her prior to class. As a former fitness instructor(and someone who used to hire them) she is an excellent instructor. Her explanations were clear, the class flowed well, and she provided multiple options. I also liked the number of participants in the class. Sometimes it feels so crowded but I feel this studio has the right number of participants. If I lived closer I would buy a membership here. I would 100% pay for another class if I'm in town

I've been training with Bill since last summer and as I look back to where I was, I'm so grateful for the support and encouragement. The classes are awesome and the gym is always fresh and clean. My favorite classes are indoor cycling and boot camp. I try and make those as often as I can and if I don't, I'd expect a call from Bill because he genuinely cares. I have always been bad at working out on my own. I over-analyze whatI'm going to do at the gym and then I end up doing nothing. At TTS, I show up for the classes do what I'm told for an hour and move on with my day. I don't like the spin cycle, but I like what it's done for me. I don't love cardio kickboxing but it's a good full-body workout that you can do regardless of what shape you'rein. You don't have to be in shape when you start. Like many things in life showing up is half of the work. When you're there focus on the results you're working towards and the reasons you're doing it. Improving your health is not selfish, it benefits everyone around you. Bill also offers personal training for those who prefer it.
