From my first phone call they have been amazing! My son is autistic but loves the dentist and is usually very well behaved at the dentist. But....anyone with a child on the spectrum knows they are unpredictable and their experience and the attitudes of the people who treat them make THE biggest determining factor on all future visits. Dr Simpson works very nicely with my son and is very patient with him. And let me tell you even though he does well with dental visits no matter what i'm freaking out with anxiety the whole drive there Lol...but just seeing him be so calm when we walk in puts me at ease. And btw his hygienist today...and just kick me because i completely forgot her name!!! Yes i feel so bad for that because she was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! The sweetest and caring and gentle person...I guess i was so amazed at how perfect the whole visit went i just had a brain fart and didn't retain her name but you know who you are Thank U sooooo much!!! This is a pretty new location for them they used to be downtown in a cozy lil office. It's a beautiful office, clean and high tech everything. All the staff that i have encountered always has been super nice and treated us so good. I just felt the need to review them after this visit today and make sure they know just how much i appreciate them!!

Finding Dr. Lapsiwala we came up with a plan to save the teeth I have and give me upper dentures. Dr. Lapsiwala took care of my cavities and while he was using his drill I was so relaxed I almost fell asleep! Dr. Lapsiwala cares about his patients to where he has a feather touch while working on my teeth. Dr. Lapsiwala mission is to give his patients the smile they want and need for quality of life. Unfortunately I only have Dentical for insurance, but he has a office staff that will fight to get the Procedures that are needed, so the plan that is decided between Doctor and Patient can be completed. I'm only a quarter way through my treatment, but so far I'm Impressed and very Happy with Dr. Lapsiwala and his Staff!

I have been a patient for twenty years, and in the last month, I have had to reschedule two appointments due to long wait times (30 then 40 mins). Their most qualified and efficient hygienists have retired or moved on. The kiosk check-in system is also faulty and does not always go through to the front desk, so they think you're late or a no-show unless you speak to the receptionist. There is also now a host standing by the kiosks... why? I am disappointed because I pay for PPO just to continue going to CD. I vote for them for Bakersfield's Best every year. And I have referred all of my friends and family to them throughout these years. But I won't be doing that anymore. Will report back if things improve.

That being said, when I recently received a mailer announcing "We have moved" along with the information about Dr. Kiuftis' new practice, I simply assumed that Dr. Rimmer had retired. I was shocked to discover that this wasn't the case at all, and that Dr. Kiuftis had, in fact, left his previous position with nearly no notice and sent out misleading mailers to Dr. Rimmer's entire patient list. I would not seek Dr. Kiuftis out for for his dental skills, and now that I am aware of his highly questionable character, I cannot do enough to caution against him. Find someone else, anyone else, to work on your teeth. This is not a man with whom you should trust your smile or your money.

Please know that I was one of those people who would start freaking out days before my dental appointments. Many times I would cancel at the last minute so I didn't have to go. They have made me feel welcome, well taken care of and everything they are planning to do is explained, clearly, so you don't need to worry about anything while you're being treated.
