I knew that there were dog walking services, but I never pictured it being like this! I'd recently…read moredid a google search for dog walking services that I could use while I was on vacation since I couldn't take my dog. This business was one of the first to come up. I made a profile and requested service. Once requested, I received a phone call from the owner of the business in this area and she was more than helpful when it came to setting up my profile for my doggo. I was told that I could track everything on their app. At first, I didn't think much of it, but once I downloaded the app, I was astonished at all of the things that this company provides to show you how your furbaby is being treated while I was away. I was able to answer questions on the behavior of my dog as well as food/treat preference, allergies, location of walking tools, and a lot more. I was very happy while I was gone to see not only where my dog was walked, but what he looked like during the walk. This company provides pictures to show that your dog is in good health while in their care. There was also a meet and greet to get the key and to introduce my dog to the walker. I was instantly put an ease when I saw how much the walker loved animals. Fetch picked a very good employee when it came to Jonathan. Not only is he personable but he got along very well and loved my dog, which was the most important thing. I was also able to chat with the walker and the owner through the app if I needed to do so. When I returned home from vacation, Jonathan gave me my house key and said his goodbyes to my dog until the next time he sees him. And coming full circle, I was given a phone call to follow up with any issues or concerned that I might have had during my experience. As I had no concerns, the only thing I could say was "I'll DEFINITELY be using this service in the future". I highly recommend the Loveland location!

I wasn't impressed with the house when we had our meet and greet but the owner assured us that it 'normally' doesn't look this way. She explained that she had just had a big family dinner and no time to straighten up. I picked up our dog this afternoon. When I was about to pay Joanna the dog sitter she told me that she is charging me $50 per night. I reminded her that we agreed on $40 and stuck to it. When she brought up our dog's bed and blanket I was shocked! The dog sitter told me with a smile that our dog's blanket (that is usually on her bed) had been dragged outside through the mud with alongside with our dog's bed by other dogs. That tells me that she left the dogs unsupervised and to their own devices. She also didn't stick with her feeding plan. I specifically asked not to give more than one to two small dog biscuits per day. The rather full box of milk bones was almost empty. When I asked why the dog sitter explained to me that she kept feeding a bunch of snacks to our dog since she might be a "slow" eater. Our dog eats her food 1/2 1/2 dry/wet. The sitter gave her wet only saying she wouldn't eat dry food. Her living/ dog room was still totally filthy. At least 6 dogs where running around in the small room, barking excessively. Even though Joanna was friendly to us- I would not bring our dog back to her place. I had to remove the cover from the dog bed before putting it into my car- it was that dirty. Our dog was totally dirty and I had to give her a bath immediately when we got home. Our dog was totally exhausted and seemed to be bothered by something. She had a lethargic look on her face all day - tells me that something happened.

Every day she took him out and sent an update with some cute pics. She made sure he got exercise, went potty and got water and his usual treats when they returned. I feel like the amount of exercise and attention he got was much healthier for him than being alone all day by himself sleeping. Definitely recommend this for anyone who has to leave their dog home for an extended period of time.

I've known about Paw Joggers for awhile, but they didn't service Mt. Adams. They've since added on a new "jogger" who is able to service my neighborhood. Paw Joggers is owned by a lovely woman named Billie, whose husband is a Cincinnati K9 officer! Billie and her team are super reliable and professional. After initially contacting them, they'll come to your house for a free Meet & Greet so they can meet your dog(s), go through paperwork and learn about your residence (keys, breaker box location, anything else they might need to know). You can either use the online scheduling tool or email Billie to request service. My walker uses a smartphone app called "Run Keeper" that will send me an email when she's done walking my dogs and shows me a map of the walk or job, the time, distance, average pace, etc. She also will text me a picture of my pups, and give me the details on their walk (#1s and #2 reports). If you are lucky, they might even post pictures of your dog on their Facebook page, which is always fun to see. ( https://www.facebook.com/pages/Paw-Joggers/327092205281 ) They send bills via email that are processed through Intuit or Paypal. It's super easy and each invoice is itemized. Basically, I love them, they love my dogs and they provide me with excellent service. What more could I ask for?

Ardent Equestrian has been a terrible experience for us and our horse. on numerous occasions,…read morefeedings were missed, stalls were rarely cleaned and the owner was extraordinarily rude. After pay 800 dollars for a month of full care board (including two feedings, stalls cleaning, turnout and watering) our horse was treated poorly. In a 3 week period, we had four confirmed times where our horse was not fed. We went daily to check the condition of her stall which was abhorrent. Their idea of "cleaning" a stall was to remove and feces on the surface, then throw fresh shavings on top. While going out daily we noticed the stalls were not being cleaned even every other day, at one point going 5 days without being properly cleaned. When we told the barn owner Allison and cleaned the stall ourselves, we were told we were being "rude" and "inappropriate". After having a bad feeling we went to check on our horse at 9:30 pm. None of the horses had be brought in from the muddy fields all day, had no access to food or clean water and had not been grained. We brought all of them in and contacted Allison saying that we were extremely disappointed that this was another one of many cases where horses were not being cared for. Her response was that we needed to leave her facility immediately and if we didn't move our horse she would even though we had payed for another week of full care board. All we asked was that our horse was consistently taken care of, and that was never met. I strongly recommend anyone looking for a barn to board at choose somewhere else if you want to make sure your horse is fed, provided clean stalls and given a safe place stay.
