He was rarely present, difficult to communicate with, and he is not addressing the issues with the work done by his team. Water feature was installed by his crew (except for tile work) that had a flooding problem. The problem was not found and here I am one year after and there continues to be a water buildup next to the water feature. Two trees are dead (and died early on despite proper watering). They were supposed to be covered under warranty, but now he declined to offer replacement and is blaming me for their death. Every person's experience is different, but in this case, I would never hire Deven again.

He diagnosed a leak and did some initial work, with no charge that day. He returned on May 6 with a helper, René. They arrived on time and about four hours later we had a watering system that works as it should. They pinpointed the leak, corrected it (which involved digging trenches), made sure all plants, front, back, and sides were receiving the appropriate amount of water, and kindly set the timers for us. Anthony was also generous with his knowledge, and I learned quite a bit about watering plants that I did not know when I woke up that morning. My husband was the one mostly involved with the project so I asked him what he would add to the review. He said Anthony and René were "fantastic." And my husband is not easily impressed. Not only did he give us a multitude of sob stories and excuses for never completing the job, he has to this day never given us the cash back. I texted for months, and he promised to bring it by numerous times and never has. From what I see on SilverFlume, the Nevada Business portal, his license is in "Revoked" status. We will be pursuing every avenue to report him and his company for fraud.

5 stars just isn't enough…read more I woke up one morning to a text from my mom with a picture of what looked liked a large branch which had broken from her tree. Her text said, "Tomorrow, on my day off, I'm going to saw it down to dump!" My mom is a bit older and very petite, so when I read this, I imagined mom with a hand saw in the middle of her driveway and I laughed and responded, "No, I'll take care of it for you." I live in Southern California and mom lives in Reno, so I couldn't just come over and clean it up for her, unfortunately. I first called waste management, they apparently don't do bulk pickups in Reno. I went onto Yelp and searched tree removal, stumbled across Greater America Tree Service and gave them a call. Mark, who answered the phone, was very professional and polite. I explained to him the situation, he asked me to text him the pictures mom had sent me. He responded with a fair estimate. Not even an hour later, I get a call and text back to let me know that they had finished. Talk about speedy service. What's even more awesome is they decided not to charge me. Apparently, the branch was a lot smaller than it appeared in the pictures. So they just went ahead and took care of it. Poor guys spent more on gas money to get out there! Bottom line, I would highly recommend Greater Nevada Tree Service and will be referring them to anyone in Reno that needs tree trimming or removal. Unexpected kind acts from strangers are so rare these days, my mom and I greatly appreciate what they did. Although it may not have been much work for them, it saved me a lot of worrying and saved my mom a lot of physical labor. Thank you again!!

Called the tree guys at 12:15 on a Tuesday. They answered, came over, and my tree issues were complete by 1:15 the same day (while it was snowing, mind you). They were friendly, professional, and gave great advice. They had just finished up a large job so there was a whole troop of them! Made the job go so quickly and gave me someone to chat with while I watched them work. I don't have a lot of tree needs, but if I do I will definitely be calling these guys up again.
