I booked multiple grooming appointments with this business over the summer, and every experience was frustrating. * First appointment: They cancelled the same day with only an hour's notice before my scheduled time. * Second appointment: They tried to reschedule me again to a later time, but I declined since this was already a pattern. A man eventually came and spent less than 30 minutes grooming my corgi, leaving piles of hair all over my yard. When I called to speak with someone about the poor service, the woman who answers all their calls simply said, "Sorry, the owner doesn't live here," and told me there was nothing they could do. I requested a refund and a call back from management -- never received either one. This business is completely unprofessional and lacks basic customer service. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. read more

To begin with, I made an appointment at the beginning of the summer when my dog cookie who is a 13 pound 11 year old Chihuahua terrier mix last had her Grooming. It was scheduled for August, and it was confirmed by my mom who had my dog at the time because I was out of town with the office. No one showed up for the appointment and I got a call at 6:15 in the evening saying they had two dogs left and they wanted to know if they could reschedule. The original appointment was at 3 o'clock, and my mom was supposed to be contacted because I was not available. It is now September and I had an appointment today on 20 September that was confirmed by me. But I got a text saying that I needed to reschedule because of an injury to the groomer. I have used In-N-Out pet Mobile Grooming for cookie for the three years. I've had her and up until recently. Everything has been great. Nicole was her groomer and cookie loved her and so did I but apparently she no longer works there and now nobody wants to come to my dog. I don't understand why there are appointments made, and confirmed if they don't want to come and actually do my dog. It takes less than an hour. I am just upset and now I have to look for a new mobile groomer because I can't have my dog not having her baths and her haircuts. I had an appointment with Shannon at 1. She texted 5 til saying she was running late. No problem, appreciate the text. By 2:30 I asked for an update and no response. It is now 3:38 pm so obviously not coming. So glad I stayed home waiting for her arrival. As soon as I posted this Shannon called so I will update. Problem is she said she had 9 dogs today and if I want to reschedule she can do Monday. But I asked her why she didn't call over an hour ago when I texted. Will look for another service. read more

Horrible Customer Service, I would never recommend this company! The groomer was supposed to be at my house at 2:15pm. They text at 2:30pm and said 3 dogs before me as they were running late. They text again at 4:46pm and said running behind 2 more hours. I was home so this was okay with me. After 3 hours, I text to see if they were close, they never text me back and never showed up. read more

I have been a customer of In & Out Pet for a few years now. I appreciated the convenience of their coming to my house to groom my dog, and they always did a good job of grooming. I also remained patient with them as they navigated some challenges and changes to their business model and staffing through the years, so it saddens me deeply to have to report this. My recent appointment was booked out 3 months in advance for 12pm on a Friday, my usual day off, with agreement in advance that appointments can run up to 2hrs early or late. As a result, I was tracking 10am-2pm as the possible service window. All is well, so far. Then, on the day of, I got a text at 7:56am saying they could only do 9am or 3pm that Friday. I saw that text at 9:45am. After calling the receptionist line 3 times over the next hour and a half, I got through on the 3rd try. At that point, the receptionist seemed helpful and willing to make things work. I agreed to 3pm. I had postponed a medical visit to accommodate their 3pm proposal, although 3pm was outside the +/- 2 hour window. 2:13pm arrived and I got another text saying they couldn't make 3pm without explanation. They offered a discount for rescheduling, a gesture which I appreciated, and after some scheduling negotiations, they put me on the schedule for the following day, a Saturday. Unfortunately, that would not come to pass. After the new appointment was set at 9:10am for 5:30pm on Saturday, I got a text at 4:53pm saying the generator broke down and offering to reschedule. However, as I had already explained my schedule limitations for the next week and a half, earlier in the text thread, I asked whether the other driver could still get there on that same Saturday. I never heard back from either driver after that. I also left a voicemail that Saturday evening for the receptionist, politely requesting her callback in order to arrive at an understanding and perhaps reschedule, but I never heard back from the receptionist either, even though today (Monday) was advertised as one of their business days. I am typically very willing to forgive businesses of mistakes and unforeseen circumstances, and give people grace and make accommodations, so long as proper communication continues, and so long as the business makes it right for the customer in a timely manner. We are all human after all, and things can go wrong despite our best efforts. But after receiving no communication from In & Out Pet, 48 hours after the third of three missed appointments, and this, after spending two days scrambling to reschedule-- despite having originally been scheduled 3 months in advance-- I am going to have to look elsewhere for my dog's needs in the future. I'm looking on the bright side though. Maybe with my dog off their books, they can focus on a better experience for their remaining customers. read more

I have been using In & Out Pet for my dogs, since September 2021. My vet stopped doing the nail trims and I needed to find a groomer. I went to one local place that I reviewed, and they are great. I went a couple of times. But my household is trying to limit outings during Covid surges. So I wanted to find a recommended mobile groomer. I found In & Out Pet via Yelp reviews. I wasn't sure if I wanted the dogs bathed though. I was doing it and it was a struggle. I didn't want anyone else to deal with it, haha. But to get nails trimmed, they needed a basic bath appointment . So, I decided to give it a try. Brock was so helpful and patient with both dogs. I see why this company has good reviews. Their staff tries very hard to help the pet and human. Due to holidays and vet appointments, we had to skip December. But they had their first bath today, for 2022. Once again, Brock was patient. Initially a little frustrated, as I had to be rescheduled for my original appt (not their fault - they had an issue with a van) but it took 8 additional days to get me in. Then my appointment didn't start until the very end of my appointment window, so it ate up an entire day. HOWEVER - they communicated all this with me, and even if I was a tad frustrated, I know this is the nature of mobile grooming. Poop happens. Shannon (I believe was his name, sorry, I'm crap with names) was super nice, he didn't lecture me about my doodles coats (rescue babies who were straight up one giant matted coat), and did his best with three not so easy to work with dogs. Plus, I didn't have to bring the unruly heathens out in the cold winter weather, and that makes it worth the price and more. Definitely recommend if you're a reclusive hermit like me and dont like to leave the house. read more

My Maisy had flunked out of two brick & mortar grooming shops because she was nervous and anxious due to her being a rescue from the streets and the groomers declined to try once I dropped her off. I finally listened to my dog and what she needed, and that was to be the only dog, without the chaos. She needed someone with experience who wasn't afraid of a challenge (Nichole!) She needed a mobile groomer. Yes, it's more expensive (more expensive than a cut & color for me) $90 for a face, feet & fanny trim, with nail trim, (not a full groom) on a 50 lb dog. You also get what you pay for. I had peace of mind that my dog was as comfortable as she was going to be, just outside our house. 4 stars due to the late appt. (it was for 9am and Nichole arrived at around 12:30) If they can get the timing tightened up, and be closer to the appt time, I'd say 5 stars for sure. They suggest every 6-8 weeks, so it's spendy, but I'll never go to another brick and mortar shop. read more

I've been searching for a "local" groomer. So I've been trying them out. Lots of the other places I took em to only talked about the money it would cost. But I&O asked about Reggie & type of haircut. I'm very pleased with the people at "in & out pets." They were friendly, outgoing and nice to Reggie. Took him in for a "sanitary" cut (weenie & butt) with a bath and nail trim. Reggie is kind of a pain in the a$$. He was rescued from a an abusive couple. He doesn't like strangers or being touched by them. But they were super sweet & patient w/him. Came out looking like a true gentleman. They literally had him done in less than an hour. He was happy and playful when I picked him up. They didn't charge a fortune for a simple wash & cut.
