This tailor shop was simply amazing!! While ironing my daughter's dress for my son's wedding on low heat, I accidentally burnt a large hole in the tulle right on the front of it ! I was in a panic as the wedding was the next day and I didn't have time to find a new dress. I found Tailor and Your Door on Yelp and sent them a pic of the damage . To my relief they assured me that it could be repaired Not only could it be repaired , but they could pick it up and drop it off at my hotel for me which was life-saving as I was very busy with the rehearsal dinner that day. I really wanted to give more stars as I felt very grateful to have found Olga and get my alterations so quickly however maybe that is where I went wrong is waiting too long. Olga never made it seem like time was the issue though. My dress fit me in the waist but was quite large in the top and breast area. Olga did take my dress in but it left material bunched up on one side and the breast were still too big. When I expressed this she talked about fabric tape and different things. I was excited that she was able to put a bustle on my dress and even more so when she stated it would only be a 3 point bustle as my cousin had just been married and her bustle was like 9 points or something crazy. Unfortunately after a few steps of walking or a few dance moves the bustle would come undone causing me constantly step on my dress and trip up on it while dancing. I paid $400 for these alterations on a dress that was only $89 dollars. I am very disappointed despite having a beautiful wedding where thankfully the photographer was able to edit out how big the breast area still looked. read more
