While I don't do a lot of dry cleaning, I've visited Tatum Cleaners five or so times. Located in a shopping center right next to Wingstop, a Japanese omakase restaurant, and an Italian ice spot, there's plenty of free parking. First off, the process they use is simple and efficient. I've never had to wait long in line to drop off my stuff, and they'll shoot you a text when it's ready for pickup. I similarly have never had to wait long to pick up my clothes. I've mostly been to Tatum Cleaners for button-up dress shirts and blazers. And once to clean a rug. The amount of time it takes them to take care of business is reasonable, and the prices are reasonable. I've never ran into any issues. That's the type of experience you look for at a dry cleaners. read more

The cost for alterations were outrageous. $73 dollars to shorten a casual dress and take in an upper back area to tighten the fit. 2 pairs of casual stretch pants hem shortening $23 each. $13 to reattach a belt strap.. $13 to sew straight line about 4 inches long where the threads looseened on a tank top. By the way the pants were purchased at Walmart and cost less than $15 each. What is an environmental fee, I was charged $9.98 for that. My entire bill came to $176.37 ARE THEY CRAZY? A year ago in Illinois I paid $10 per pair of jeans to shorten the hem length. No environmental fees. I could've replaced my old kenmore sewing machine for alot less and did the work myself. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I never received any voicemail messages from this business although they said they tried to reach out twice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would have loved to have had someone reach out as this was a very bad experience. I would love a way to replace the missing towel, the yellowed towel that wasn't yellow when it went in and the two missing pillow cases. And it was not four comforters. They are still in the bags I have it was two comforters. Two blankets. Along with sheets and towels. If everything would have been returned and not returned so wrinkly I had to rehash nearly everything I would likely not have complained about the sticker shock. But when you pay as much as I did you expect better quality. I knew not getting the estimate first was on me but once I saw the condition and missing items I was upset. The ultimate Christmas miracle!! In all of the hustle & bustle of Christmas, I forgot to pickup my sons navy uniform and he flies out today (Christmas Day) for training. I woke up in an absolute panic!! I had Billy's cell phone from a previous visit where he helped me with alterations, so I took a leap of faith and called. He told me the business has been sold to Martin & Vive a few months ago, so he would reach out to them. Martin called right away and said he would meet me. They just moved here a few months ago from Argentina and do not have a car yet, so he rode his bike to meet me (WOW!). To say I am THANKFUL is an understatement!!
