I had the best experience with Olga! I needed last minute adjustments done for a dress I was wearing to a wedding in Jamaica, and I came across Tailor at Your Door on a google search. I got a prompt response from Olga and she was very informative about what needed to be done, cost and turn around time. Amazing experience. I was in a crunch as I had emergency brain surgery a month to the day before my wedding. Medications I was on ultimately led to me gaining 20 lbs. My dress wouldn't zip up and a previous seamstress told me I was unable to let it out because of the lace and type of fabric. A week and a half prior to the wedding, I was in a major bind. I came to Olga in a bit of a panic because the wedding dress I chose ended up having a weird sizing issue. It fit pretty much everywhere except was way too tight around the ribcage (it had an empire waist). Olga agreed that the manufacturer did something wrong there, and to my relief she said she could fix it. We ended up also shortening, and she took care to do this in such a way where we could sacrifice the least amount of beadwork possible. Despite the complicated changes needed, the dress looked absolutely perfect when she was finished and the changes looked super subtle. Sorry about the strange crop on the photo, just didn't want to post our faces to yelp! But you can see the fit of the dress and detailed beadwork. I was looking for a last minute fix for my swimsuit that I love. It's a one piece with some cute writing at the front but the lining was just so thin that if it gets cold, you'll see my nipples! If I could give Olga more than 5 stars I would. I am attaching pictures from my wedding to give you an idea of how incredible she is. First off, my dress was completely torn apart and redesigned by Olga. It was my mom's dress (as shown) in the 90s. I swear I'm not lying when I say my dress is the same dress, just completely redone for my style in the year 2022. All Olga needed was a few pointers on the style I was interested in and she made the dress of my dreams. Next, my bridesmaids' dresses were all tailored and altered by her too. The sleeves off their shoulders were added by her from fabric she cut off the bottom of their dresses. It added a perfect extra styling touch. As you will also see, one of my bridesmaids is pregnant at the wedding, and Olga made sure to work with her to ensure her dress would fit her perfectly, despite her having bought it before she was pregnant. Lastly, my husband's suit jacket is a suit jacket from Goodwill we found that was just too big for him, albeit the style and maker he wanted (clearly we aren't super high class- oops). However, Olga took the suit jacket just a month or 2 before the wedding and tailored it to fit him perfectly. Essentially, Olga custom made, fit, and tailored almost my entire wedding party. I can't say enough good things about her talent, timeliness, and overall just passion for what she creates. Thank you so much Olga!
