No one has called back and it's been over 2 weeks. I waited patiently over the holidays. This is absurd. I lost a $620 wool comforter, the $61 Tide cleaning fee, and the duvet cover I can no longer return. I'm not even sure what to do at this point. What an awful and unprofessional business. I need to give this social media attention and file with small claims court. When I walked in the lady was hanging my dress up and I laughed happily realizing she already had the dress out (I didn't give her my name when I called so I was surprised she knew which dress it was) She made an annoyed sound after that and then when I was paying she was tapping her nails on the counter the whole time. I started going there because it was very convenient, not because it was great but they did a decent job. I lost some buttons along the way and had cracked shirt buttons, also double pant presses which were annoying. But I scarified quality for convenience, bad move on my part I will admit. Everyone who regularly uses a dry cleaners knows that having a specific one that they use all the time is personal, at least for me it is. I needed my suit to be cleaned for an interview. I rarely use dry cleaning services, because I don't have many clothes that require it. It was a two-piece suit, without any stains. When I brought the suit home, I tried it on, and immediately noticed a horrible stench on my suit that it didn't have when I dropped it off to be cleaned. It had and still has an old and moldy stench, that seems to have deeply permeated into the fabric of my suit. We tried the steam-fresh cleaning cycle at home, with a couple of dryer sheets, but the stench would not go away. I had no choice but to wear this suit to my interview. Weeks later, the stench still fills my entire clothes closet and I don't know if I can ever use my suit again. It was truly a waste of my money taking my clothes here for dry-cleaning.
