When I came to pick my clothes up and gave her my ticket, she told me that my clothes had already been picked up and barely gave me the time of day. When I told her repeatedly that I hadn't picked up my clothes, she was rude and dismissive. She even tried to suggest that I "didn't remember picking them up" or that "somebody else picked them up and that I should figure it out." At that point, I refused to leave without answers and kept urging her to use other methods to figure out where my clothes were instead of just scanning my ticket and shrugging. Finally after essentially begging her, she agreed to find my clothes, and what do ya know, she found them. Instead of apologizing, she started blaming the person who was working the day I dropped off my clothes. When I informed her that that person was her, she told me it wasn't. I was a customer here for over 10 years, but recently I started going elsewhere. I don't feel comfortable going to a dry cleaner where losing customer's clothing and blaming them for it is the norm.

The return of my garments was subject to an unreasonable and protracted delay, extending over a period of four months, which caused considerable inconvenience and frustration. Upon the eventual retrieval of the dresses, I was dismayed to discover a unilateral and unauthorized alteration to the original invoice. The pricing, which had been mutually agreed upon and formally documented, was unilaterally changed, resulting in a substantial overcharge above the initial quoted cost. This constitutes a significant breach of trust and contractual agreement. To further compound this profoundly unsatisfactory experience, the dresses were returned permeated with a strong and unmistakable odor of marijuana. This renders the items completely unwearable until they undergo extensive professional cleaning, incurring additional unexpected costs and further inconvenience. Such a condition reflects an alarming lack of professionalism, disregard for client property, and a severe lapse in the expected standard of care.

Absolutely terrible experience! We were referred to this alteration place by another tailor who was…read morebooked up due to prom season. The women here are kind, but that's about the only good thing I can say. I honestly don't know if they're inexperienced or just have never worked with a Black woman's curves before, but not one, not two, but three of my dresses were completely botched. I also had a top altered and it came back lopsided. After the first round of alterations, the owner tried to gaslight me, saying they had only adjusted the strap for my burgundy dress (which was never the main issue). I initially asked for the sides to be taken in because the bust area was too big, but somehow, that got lost in translation. So I paid AGAIN, for all to be fixed and what I got back was even worse. Everything felt rushed, uneven, and downright sloppy. I bawled my eyes out because these dresses were meant for my birthday trip. The white dress? It was the most horrendous one, imagine the outline of Sarah Baartman on a modern-day garment. That's how distorted the shape was. Even after a third attempt, the seams were still crooked and the dress was unwearable. I'm now left dressless for my trip and out of money. If I could give this place zero stars, I would.
