The lack of care and professionalism in this situation has completely changed my trust in this place. I've been a regular customer for almost a year, and I am very disappointed, so I will not be returning. During today's drop-off, one of my dogs slipped out of her collar, pushed the door open, and ran into the parking lot. She was scared and could have easily been hit by a car or seriously hurt. I had to chase her down myself while panicking, and no one stepped in to help or acknowledged what was happening. What made this worse was how the situation was handled afterward. There was NO apology, no concern for my dog's safety, and no accountability. When I brought it up at pickup, the woman at the reception desk was dismissive and defensive, saying it wasn't her fault and that she didn't need to apologize. I was also told this has happened with other clients' dogs, which is very concerning. read more

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Tails Spa and Boutique was beyond disappointing. I was originally quoted $94 for my cat's grooming appointment, only to arrive and be told the total was $146. They added an additional $21 service was added without my knowledge or consent beforehand on to of co over charging. Communication and transparency matter, especially when trusting someone with your pet. My cat was there for seven hours, and after all that time, the haircut was absolutely terrible uneven, poorly done, and nowhere near the quality I expected for the price charged. I understand grooming can sometimes require adjustments, but adding charges without approval and delivering such subpar results is unacceptable. My dog was not cut properly. The fur on his rear end is not uniform. Also, his penisnt and all surrounding hair were not clipped. I left him for 3 hours. It was rushed work. I have pictures to upload but I don't see a place for it on this site. read more

I typically don't leave reviews. Mainly because I'm just not good at it. But I couldn't pass on this family business at all. I connected with them through my mom who recommended them. She loves how they groomed her 2 dogs. I decided to try them out. I just got a yorkie puppy and it was her first time. Instantly the owner answered my questions through phone and text and was very polite. Dropping my puppy off was quick and the shop was very welcoming. I didn't know what to expect as I've never done this before. I headed to the gym and they called and texted me to let me know that my puppy was ready to be picked up. As I walked back into their shop they brought me my yorkie and I was so impressed. She was the cutest thing I'd ever seen. She was happy, looked amazing with her new cut!! I am 100 percent satisfied with their service. She smelled amazing too...hehe! Their prices are also unbeatable. They provide many services, not just grooming. They have several Little outfits, scarves, leashes etc. as well. One thing I must say is that I couldn't find my wallet all day after I had left there. I called them and messaged several times thinking maybe I had left it at their store and they were so kind and so patient with me in helping me find it! The owner answered her phone after hours!! Talk about customer service . Turns out I'm just blind and it was in my car the whole entire time (ugghhh). Anyhow, God is good and the day ended with an adorable puppy and a found wallet. I had been searching for a new groomer for my Yorkie because his previous groomer labeled him as uncooperative and difficult. Oh my gosh I can not rave enough about this place! The staff was SO friendly and handled him from start to finish with kindness and a gentle hand! I was shown a video of him before, during and after and he was sitting there just as calm as can be while he was being groomed. A far cry from his behavior with his previous groomer! He came out looking fresh and nicely groomed! Will definitely be taking both my dogs here from now on! read more

What a FANTASITC dog spa and boutique!!! I took my dog there yesterday for a nail trim and the groomer and owners were fabulous!! The best nail trim my dog has ever had. The groomer was so gentle and patient. Everyone was very friendly. They even did a short meet and greet with my dog so he can come for daycare visits and my dog LOVED it! Lots of personal attention. Such a great find! If you like cute dog accessories, this is a great boutique. They also have a great selection of wonderful dog food and treats and all sorts of fun stuff. It is very safe and very clean and very welcoming. I would highly recommend. Check it out......You will be glad you did. It is on Sunnyside and Herndon in Clovis. Took my Great Pyrenees to be groomed, we discussed a trim, bath, nails etc. They assured me they had done dogs like her before. They called once to say she had a few mats on her stomach and I agreed they could clip them. When I picked her up she had been shaved head to toe with a teddy bear head cut and a puffy tail, not the beautiful Pyrenees flag tail. She is a double coat and they are never to be shaved. It will take a minimum of 3-6 months for her coat to recover and for her to look like a Great Pyrenees and not a shaved lab. I have no words for what they did., she is gonna need a jacket because her coat is how they regulate their temperature. read more
