pretty delicious fast casual spot for mediterranean food. the service was very fast and friendly, and it was clean inside for dining in. I got their beef/lamb platter and was super stuffed after, so can recommend their portion sizes. the beef/lamb did feel a bit heavy so I would try the chicken plate next time!

Create your own platter! Falafel add chicken with hummus, pickles, cucumbers, and olives.

Whenever I am in town, I hit them up. Totally unassuming and I think a chain. Always fresh ingredients and plenty of toppings and options to choose from. This visit i ordered ahead and when I arrived, someone else already grabbed my meal. The staff was quick to rectify the situation amazingly so and I was happy again as I have been before. So delicious and fresh! I keep saying it for a reason. And you want to make sure you get extra bread. It's the simple things for me. Ha! Delish!!

Food was good here! But the ordering was a bit complicated. I ended up just going through the app to select the items I want because theres a limit for the number of toppings you can get. Flavors were all good and bowl was quite filling! This location has seating and which was clean and nice.

The food and customer service is amazing at the 11 Hoyt St location in Bk! Theyre fast at preparing the food too. Trust me, I've been going here for 2 years now and their bowls and Pita sandwiches are the Bomb. My favorite is the OG Falafel Pita sandwich. I also love their fries! They know my face because I order fries almost all the time Definitely come visit this location!

Food : 8/10 I usually get a bowl which consists of green and harissa falafel which is always tasty, turmeric jasmine rice and super greens with toppings(cucumber , tomatoes, almonds, shallots and hummus Service : cashier & supervisor were very thorough. Staff for the most part is friendly and efficient. Def give this spot a try if you enjoy Mediterranean food like I do. Ambiance : always clean, has a bathroom which is only for customers which I enjoy. You can dine in and or take your food to go which I like. You can't sit and just have that alone time with yourself after a long day. They do play music which is a factor if you want peace and quiet you'd best take it to go. Harissa Falafel

My love for Taim has spanned a decade,* so when I found out they were opening up steps from my building, I rejoiced. Then I forgot about it for two months, until I received a coupon in the mail. And what a coupon it was! It got me to walk in the doors of this beautiful new eatery tucked into the new 11 Hoyt development (entrance on Livingston). It's bright, with high ceilings, plenty of seating, and all the high-tech ordering touchscreens you could ask for. (They also take online orders, and I believe have an app as well.) They also have a lovely staff who will also just take your order the old-fashioned way, if you like talking to people. All the other things aside, this new Taim location serves up the same high quality eats I've always loved. I rocked a chicken shawarma bowl, with as many toppings as they'd give me. As expected, their food is all packed with bright, fresh, flavorful ingredients, and it's a lunch I'm going to revisit entirely too often. Happy to have you in the hood, Taim. _____________ *Unfortunately, it is thus far unrequited. They never take me up on my offers of midnight assignations, or exotic holidays together.

I stopped by on a weekend afternoon for a quick bite. I got a chicken Schwarma bowl with the main positives being fresh ingredients, lots of choices and colorful. On the negative side, the chicken was dry. Space was clean. Ordering can be on on app, kiosk or old school with the cashier. This is not a typical dump and go meal place (like chipotle) as all the food is prepared behind the cashier, out of of sight. Seating was aplenty and space was clean. Pricing seemed fair and portions were larger than expected. Bowl allows for 2 bases, 1 protein, 8 toppings and a sauce. Located on Livingston st as part of the 11 Hoyt living residences

I am a longtime CAVA fan, but when it comes to falafel, I have to admit Taim takes the cake. Their red and green falafels are both fantastic options, and so hot and crispy out the fryer. I stopped by on a Thursday evening before my solidcore class (conveniently located next door) for some dinner. Like their other locations, there are two self-order kiosks where you can choose a pita or bowl. There are several tables and the space is quite big and clean so you can choose to sit down and eat or take it home. My food arrived fairly quickly and was brought to me by a staff member. Overall, a solid spot for some Mediterranean in the area!

This place is my actual favorite food in all of New York. Absolutely delicious, and the most helpful and friendly staff in the world. Vinny is the GOAT and will take the best care of you if he's there (if you see him tell him Atlanta girl sent you). An absolute MUST VISIT if you're ever in New York. Literally cannot say enough good things. Very chill vibe and extremely clean.

I went back for a weekday lunch recently and the food and atmosphere both hold up fabulously, so it makes sense why they've remained a brunch mainstay at both their East Village and Williamsburg locations. I enjoy that they serve their hot moroccan tea in a glass as is traditional, so you can see all the fresh mint leaves in your cup. I had tea like this multiple times a day during my trip to Morocco a few years back so sipping on this here took me back in time. I ordered a short stack of their blueberry pancakes which were very fluffy and delicious. They're not the kind of pancake with crispy edges, which are my preferred kind of pancake but I still found them satisfying. The moroccan eggs, which are two poached eggs in spicy stewed tomatoes and served with zahar pita is a delight. The pita is very fluffy and the zahatar adds such a nice fragrant spice to the bread. They used to serve this with potatoes but now those come at an additional charge but are well worth getting. The Williamsburg location also has pretty good wifi and they let me work on my laptop through my brief stay there. Kitchen was speedy too.

The Chocolate Babka dessert is a great way to end your meal, and they do make a solid espresso martini for those wondering. The only thing I was not a fan of is their drink menu - all of the cocktails are spicy or smoky. Although you can sub out different alcohols, it would be nice to have a few other options.

There is also an outdoor dining area, as well as a mid-sized dining room and we were seated near the window. Sawa serves Lebanese cuisine with some more modern dishes. Additionally, they have a mostly Lebanese wine list, which gave us an opportunity to try some new wines. We ordered both a red and a white for the table, and I was especially drawn to the red, as the red was served chilled, light-bodied, and very enjoyable. Nearly all of the reds and whites on the menu are from Lebanon, with just one red from Morocco, plus a couple sparkling options from Lebanon as well. We started with several dips for the table: hummus, baba ghannouj, and muhammara. The hummus was incredibly smooth, and the muhammara was especially flavorful with large pieces of walnut throughout. Everyone at the table receives fresh pita, and we ended up ordering a few more to share. We also shared the Brussels sprouts and the snap peas. The Brussels sprouts were rich and flavorful, but the snap peas really stood out. They were unlike anything I have tasted before, intensely mint, served with garlic mint labneh, and very delicious. For mains, we focused on lamb: two orders of the lamb ribs, two orders of the kafta, and two orders of the sfeeha. We probably over-ordered by about one entrée, but otherwise it was the right amount of food for six people. The lamb ribs were phenomenal, fall-off-the-bone tender and packed with flavor. The lamb pies were also very good and came with a delicious dipping sauce. The kafta was good, though not quite as memorable as the other lamb dishes, but still very satisfying. Service was attentive throughout the meal, and despite the number of dishes on the table, the staff handled everything smoothly. The table got a little crowded at times, but it was manageable. I would absolutely recommend Sawa, especially for anyone who enjoys trying something a little different. They do classic Lebanese dishes very well, while also offering some creative dishes that feel unique and memorable. I am already looking forward to going back.

We each ordered our main, after which they bring out an enormous tray of all these lovely nibble salads, pickles, dips, and pita. I don't eat wheat, and haven't my entire life, so I usually don't say anything about it if it seems to me the place doesn't cater to that sort of restriction. The server noticed however, and offered sliced cucumbers for the dips. Such a lovely detail, brava. Did I mention how deeeeeeeelicious everything was? Hubby had the steak shishlika which was perfectly tender and charred at once. I had the chicken shishlika which was good, but not the wow of the steak. Each and every salad, dip, pickle etc was perfectly spiced, cooked, presented. The nuances were just right. Nothing too precious or sideways. Just honest, well built yummy food. And the fries. Soft serve with a cherry reduction and some kind of flourless chocolate brownie... I don't need to say more. The service was excellent. The food delicious.
