Come here at least once a week goes without say that I like this place a lot. Ill start with the cons. The few there are will sound nitpicky (which they are). -if ordering at non peak time (like late at night, im talking past 9PM) they regularly run out of some toppings or vegetables. Not all of them and this IS NOT regular just at non peak hours. -They dont bake their own fresh bread (really nitpicky). But worth noting if thats what youre looking for walk a few blocks to bedouin tent. Just note that their wraps are less filling, slightly more expensive and just a tier below Kemos (although still good). Pros -consistently good wraps, very solid quality meat they use here always cooked well and tsasty. - very good prices for the quality of food you get. - ive ordered their burgers, rice, soups, desserts and non meat plates. Theyre always very good and satiating. -They never skimp on their portions. This is me and my wifes go to pickup spot. Its a neighborhood staple and I see a variety of people regularly at lunch time. Also to sit down and eat its clean and relatively a nice place to escape the noise. Thats the last note to mention. VERY CLEAN and good quality food, great prices also. read more

Idk what happened to this place. I used to come here once a week as a quick neighborhood spot and loved it. Now they have new staff and in the last 3 times I've gone they've gotten my order completely wrong once and forgotten my order twice (I had to sit and wait 20 mins before they told me they forgot/lost the ticket). The place has gone downhill it's sad. read more

So this was my first time having food from Yemen and it was absolutely delicious. I decided to dine in and my food was brought to me. I had the rotisserie chicken, yellow rice, steamed vegetables, and Yemeni tea. The chicken was juicy and well seasoned. I enjoyed the tea with the different spices and the service was great. I will definitely stop by again and try some of their other options or maybe the same because it really was good. The food also was very fresh. You could tell it wasn't just sitting all day. If you're in the area, you must stop by and give it a try. read more

The atmosphere is super causal and relaxed with a decent amount of seating. You can order through the kiosk or place your order. The prices here are reasonable and I love getting their Yemeni rice. Their lunch specials include a protein and two sides so it makes it affordable. Everything looks great and the food all looks so flavorful I'd definitely recommend making a visit! read more

Came here upon seeing the rave reviews. Upon entering, you are hit with a strong aroma of grilled meats. I got a chicken schwarma pita sandwich and it was super delicious. There are also many tables in the back for seating. Would definitely come back for a quick, affordable meal! read more

I didn't know what to make of the multi-genre approach on the sign, as I can have Everclear-esque skepticism of being everything to everyone, but my lamb dish was so good that next time I'm confident that picking anything randomly would work. The mixed vegetables provided a way better than usual side dish, and it's always great to find a new variety of hot sauce. Service was quick and friendly. I enjoy the hot food at this location. Due to where the restaurant is located the prices are a little higher, but I believe that you get what you pay for. I don't mind paying a little extra if the quality is good. read more

The first thing you see when you walk in is fresh ingredients. We ordered the chicken shawarma bowl and the hummus platter with chicken shawarma which came with warm pjta bread. Upon looking at the rest of the food, we were temped into getting the spaghetti (which did not disappoint). Overall, food was 10/10! Price was reasonable and the establishment was clean. Kemo's is a Yemeni deli and grill about a block away from Atlantic Terminal and Barclays Center. They serve typical deli sandwiches, burgers, and wraps, but also have shawarma freshly sliced from the spit, and lots of other typical Middle East staples like falafel, tabbouleh, and hummus. The main attraction here though is the Yemeni cuisine, some of which is served from a steam table and some made to order. The options are pretty extensive here, including lamb haneeth, lamb kabsa, fahsah, and chicken mandi. They even have Yemeni breakfast items like lamb liver. When I walked in there were several tables with Yemeni folks eating a variety of delicious-looking dishes. The interior is very clean and the staff are super friendly. Excellent option for some quick and tasty food before or after a game or concert at Barclays or a trip from Atlantic Terminal. read more

Friendly staff and a great spot if you want to eat or have a smoothie! You can sit in the back to relax and wait for your order. You can also eat there as well. It's comfortable too. I ordered a Tribeca smoothie and a Summer in NYC juice! Both were excellent! read more

I came here because i was craving a shawarma on the commute home, first time and i enjoyed it! Beef & chicken options (no lamb), nice and crispy and they cook the pita wraps so they are crispy. I recommend adding a Yemeni tea to the order, pairs well with a fully loaded wrap. They also have espresso and coffee (Lavazza) options. Ingredients taste clean and they do not cut corners, and the seating & cooking areas are visibly clean. Costs a tad more than other option nearby but worth it. Still no where near "sit down" prices. Food carts are sketchy and other places are not as clean and do not add as many ingredients when i say "fully loaded"- so i think the price is completely reasonable. Espresso is $2.50 if that is a good overall reference. Plenty of seating 6x big tables 2x small movable tables-- good for single or group seating. Seems like they have a restroom but i did not use it. Service was quick and friendly. Would recommend dropping by! read more

This was a local spot that was a mix of local and modern with quality authentic kebabs. I had the chicken shawarma with the pita the chicken was so tender and perfectly seasoned. The veggies are crisp and fresh and add a perfect balance of tartness and freshness to the heartiness of the chicken. The pickled red cabbage and pickle cucumbers were great veggie options that were rare options that are not normally offered. The interior offers ample inside seating and is painted very hip and asthetically pleasing. This place is very obviously family run so go support them and get some great eats. read more

Soooooooooo tasty! I loved this Mixed Grill Shwarma! I don't live in Brooklyn and will miss it once I'm gone.

We ordered the combo for two and it was SO much food. The beef schwarma was a bit tough, but the chicken kabob and chicken schwarma were so tender and flavorful! The sides were also huge portions - the yemin rice was really tasty. They even threw in free pita for us! Very great value for a quick and easy meal. read more

This place is fire. So consistent. I'm embarrassed to admit we've ordered it at least three times in the last week. The wraps are amazing as well as the pitas. Don't sleep on the chopped cheese. That's such a treat and so so good. Tried their homemade hot sauce today which packs a kick and was very impressive. Orders always come fast and hot. 10/10 read more

I was so pleased to find a halal shawarma spot near the Atlantic Barclays Center that served high quality fresh food. The place is unassuming from the outside but don't let that fool you. The menu is extensive and there are many options to pick from. They have a number of ready-made stews and rice dishes as well as a range of plates and sandwiches to pick from. I've tried their chicken shawarma, in both wrap and plate forms, and both have been great and such good value for money. The chicken is moist and tender yet lean, the toppings are delicious. My goodness! I just enjoyed the most delicious Middle Eastern breakfast here... possibly the best shakshouka and fuul and pita I've ever had. And the smiles and friendly greeting from the proprietors made my meal even tastier. On a quiet street just off Union in Brooklyn, it's worth making a trip to eat in or order for home. Tuesday, November 21, 2023 Lunchtime Ordered: Large pasta to go. Which was al dented and full of flavor and peppers and onion. This is a well made pasta dish. Bone in Lamb over yellow rice. He served up a nice platter of this. It is delicious and the flavors really come through as you enjoy the dish. Chicken Samosa was large and packed with meat. Added a bit of the tahini and green sauce He gave me with it and it was amazing. Fish Samosa. Salmon filled with just enough seasoning. Crispy, Savory, and packed with flavor. Food is fresh and tasty. Service and Staff are quick and friendly. A must try spot if you are in the area. read more
