I tried this restaurant out on a Saturday night. My wife and I were taking care of the Grandchildren and we needed to pick up a carry out. I had seen the positive reviews on Yelp and Google and thought I would give it a try. The staff was very friendly and quick to help. The setup is more consistent with fast food like Subway except they serve up a fusion of Indian and Mexican food. I ordered from the counter and was in and out in 10 minutes. I ordered the Smokey Tikka which was loaded with basmati rice, pinto beans, tikka masala curry, jalepeno corn salsa and Smokey chipotle with cilantro sprinkled through out, all of it was fresh, I added ground beef. This is a hot dish and very flavorful. I liked it better than my wife. My wife had the Butter Chicken Quisadilla filled with butter masala curry, chicken, diced onions, cilantro lime crema, shredded cheese and green salsa on the side. We both agreed that this was the better dish. This was delicious and built like a Quesadilla but softer and very buttery on the inside. Both were very generous sized dishes and we could eat only about 1/2 of each, so great for leftovers. The interior was more modern with plenty of seats. It gets a five star as I have to compare it to similar run restaurants we paid $25 and it was good for four total meals. read more

What a delightful place! We stopped in and had the curry meets queso fries with chicken, smoky paneer quesadilla, and gulab jamun. The fries were outstanding--even though they don't stay super crisp under the sauce, the flavors were great and the portion could've been a whole meal for me. I am not generally a pinto bean fan, but it worked really nicely with everything else. They may have changed my mind on them. The quesadilla was also very generously sized (half could've been lunch for me, 3/4 would have filled up my husband), the paneer was excellent, and the flavors were spot on. It had just a bit of heat, but as long as I, a weenie, ate slowly it wasn't too much. The gulab jamun was the same quality as the other Indian places in town, and the portion size of two was plenty for us. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying their build your own options. The staff were super nice and it seems to be a family establishment. Love to see new small businesses with unique concepts! I hope they continue to do well, and I will plan to visit before/after my Costco runs. read more

Delicious food! It is exactly like going to Chipotle but with an Indian cuisine experience infused within the options! Very clean restaurant and excellent service! Love the burritos, bowls, quesadillas and nachos! The toasted burritos and quesadillas were perfectly executed, we enjoyed it so much that we want to get the same press machine to use in the kitchen at home! The mango lassi is a must try drink option! Unique offering in Farragut / W Knox. Curry & Queso is a fusion concept featuring elements of Mexican and Indian food. I'd say it's more heavy on the Indian side. But, if you wanted no spice or curry, there's plenty of options. For me, I love both. The concept is similar to Chipotle, Salsaritas, Cava, etc. Most entrees are build your own bowl with rice, meat (or vegan) protein, and veggie/cheese toppings. I liked the tikka masala curry and the mint topping. Wow. So delicious. They also have quesadillas featuring Indian flavors. My son (who isn't always adventurous) really liked it and would order the quesadilla again. Overall: Very good new restaurant. Recommended! read more

First, love the name - it tells you right away that their food is a marriage of Indian + Mexican. However if you read the menu items, like Justin H says, it's more heavy on the Indian side. You can either make your own, or order from the menu. We took advantage of their grand opening special - $6.99 for their signature bowls (reg. $11.98) and quesadillas (reg. $9.98). The owners are Indian and they are super nice and welcoming. BOMBAY BUTTER - $11.98 Bowl incl. basmati rice, pinto beans, protein (we did chicken), butter masala curry, kachumber, jalapeno corn salsa, cilantro lime crema, shredded cheese, and cilantro. Delicious flavors - I loved everything! This was very good too - and quite spicy so be ready! Other protein options are carnitas (pork), carne asada, paneer. I saw that the recently opened in the plaza right next to the Costco and wanted to come in and see what it was all about. Did not disappoint! Great flavorful food for about as much as a comparable Chipotle bowl but with a lot more spices. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients. For my first time here, I decided to order from the preset signature menu since I figured they would know what would best go together - but if you wanted you can build your own Indian/Mex fusion inspired bowl, Burrito, Fries, or Nachos. Will definitely add this fast casual restaurant to my foodie playlist. read more

Stopped in for lunch before our Costco run after we had read the other reviews online that praised the food and the service and the friendly welcome. We were not disappointed! The staff (owners?) were friendly and helpful and seemed genuinely pleased we were there. As two (ahem) somewhat older women, we shared a Butter Chicken bowl, having heard that the portions were large. The food was delicious, and the bowl was plenty for us to share (alongside an order of chips and yummy queso). We can't wait for our next Costco run to try something different! We only wish there was a location in Bearden so we didn't have to wait for trips to Farragut to eat there! read more
