Not the best threading place I've been to but a good substitute if you're in the area. Prices are normal and better if you pay cash (accurate to website prices). If you pay card it's 8% extra. Parking was easy and I didn't wait at all when I came in. My lady did a full face and she was friendly and sweet. Eyebrows look good but she missed a few hairs here and there around the cheeks and chin/neck area. Nothing noticeable so I was happy! I'd probably come back if I needed to and was staying in Laguna/MV area. Clean facility and tidy area. read more

I decided to stop by randomly one day to get my eyebrows threaded. The last time I got it done was over 10 years ago and I remember it being painful. I had time to kill so I figured I might as well try it and see if it still hurts. They only talk walk ins and you sign your name in a book and what time you entered. Lots of people are waiting and three women were threading when I went there. They are fast and efficient so you aren't going to be waiting long. They ask you what you'd like to get done and they get to work. It was fast and painless! I did notice a small nick under my eyebrow but it wasn't anything major. Everyone else seemed very happy with their results. For my eyebrows and upper lip it was $18. They prefer cash but accept card. You get a stamp card that you can use each time to get a free eyebrow threading. Parking is ample, close to stater brothers, target, gas, ups so easy to stop by while doing errands. read more

Found this place thanks to Yelp! It was located near my chiropractor (where I was at the time), so decided to pop in. Walk in. Sign your name on the check in pad. I had to wait maybe 2 minutes, as one of the ladies was just finishing up with a client. There were three ladies working (with both of the other chairs full). Efficient. Great eyebrow clean up. They prefer cash (which I had), but also do take cards. Would definitely return! 2024: 7/2024 read more

I came in for a walk-in threading and the place met my expectations in terms of the service I wanted as well as a nice, spacious and clean environment. The lady who helped me paid extra attention to detail as she threaded my eyebrows and listened to what I requested. I would recommend trying this place at least once if you're looking for a threading place in the area. read more

No way!!! I went based off online reviews. I had a lot of hope. I have healthy brows and purposely didn't pluck or go anywhere to really get clean straight lines. That is not what I got. Open later than everyone. Reasonably priced. VERY kind staff. I was in a pinch and needed my brows done. I had lost track of time and my usual place had already closed. I called and made sure Taj was still open. When I got there, they were so kind and accommodating (and still open for an hour longer than so many other places!). Very clean shop and beautiful work. I've found my new threading spot! read more

First time I went here. I normally go to Zia but it is always so busy and I do not have an hour to wait for my eye brows. Decide to tray Taj and clean and friendly. They did a great job and the prices were very responsible! Definitely will go back! They also have more people working so can accommodate the busy times! read more

Horrible! Don't come here unless you want to leave here bleeding and with super skinny eyebrows. I told her please clean it up and she did what she thinks is better for me! I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for years and this was the first time someone completely doesn't listen to what I ask for. While I'm paying she asks me if I have a stamp card and I said no thank you I won't be coming here again. She said why, and I went ahead and told her I can't come back to a place that makes me bleed and doesn't do as I ask them to just clean up my eyebrows. She proceeded to defend herself rather than apologize! Don't know what the girls name that did my eyebrows but here is a picture of her. I have natural thick eyebrows that require minimal cleaning up and after my visit here. I walked out with very thin brows, 1 round shape 1 square. Needless to say i will not be coming back here, as it will take forever to grow them back out. I was very unhappy. read more

Like all eyebrow places, you have to know which person to go to. This morning I came in around 10 AM, and got placed with a random person, unsure of her name, but she was the first one available. I told her what I wanted and asked if she wanted to see a picture for reference, she said no. And she was unable to give me what I wanted. needless to say I won't be coming back here again to try and see if I can find someone I like. I'll just stick to my previous eyebrow place. Came into taj based on my cousins recommendation. I have very uneven brows and patches where hair no longer grows. I had stopped shaping my brows years ago and just pluck the stragglers myself. But I'm going to be in a wedding party and needed to be on point. Walked in to Taj. They were pretty empty. I was immediately greeted by candy who had me fill out my info and sat me down. I gave her my "list of demands"... keep them as thick as possible, try to make them even, don't touch the length etc etc. Candy said not to worry and quickly went to work. She was fast, but not so fast that I was worried. She cleaned up my brows nicely, and made them as even as possible. I had a hair on the right side that seemed low but she said it was even with the other side and I needed to fill in that corner (she was correct, as I filled them in when I got home). If she had removed that one hair the shape and size of the brow would've been uneven. I've threaded many places since I was young, and I must say I barely felt it. I was happy with her technique and the end result. The price was great at $12. Full disclosure, was the shape as perfect as when I've gone to benefit or Anastasia? No. But am I super happy with the outcome and will I come back to taj? 10000% YES!!!! read more

The reviews don't lie... Maya is amazing! I didn't have the highest expectation going in because I believed it would take a miracle to shape my funky eyebrows into something that wowed me... There have only been a few brow techs over the years who were skilled enough to work with my brows and make me feel model-worthy upon walking out. Maya is the sweetest and truly a genius at her craft. At only $12, it's a steal! Make sure to leave a great tip (I always tip $8 for an even $20) Plus, it's conveniently located in the Target shopping center making it easy to stop by before or after your weekend errands! read more

I usually get face threaded by Tina who does s good job, so does Candy. However after session with Candy yesterday I came home to discover multiple cuts on my face. Very disappointing and especially bc I had some good sessions in the past with her before. My face looks butchered , I would appreciate my $23 back at the very least - please do the right thing owners of Taj Threading. read more

Came here for the first time and it was empty for a Sunday, perfect for me. Sura helped me out and was amazing at threading. I got my upper lip and she was proficient with her strokes. It was almost painless, but the lip area will always hurt no matter what ‍ Rose water was placed on my skin afterwards. The only reason for my experience not being a complete 5 star was the fact that I still had some hairs left over. Other than that, no complaints! Excellent job read more

Details.. .. Needed to have my mustache removed. LOL .. It costs $8 to have my upper & lower lip threaded - cost is about average for the area. prOs.. .. The place is clean & there are a good amount of chairs for those waiting. .. The lady who helped me was efficient & the process was relatively painless. cOns.. .. Although they had a sign in sheet like most places, there was one lady who adhered to it while another lady just sort of asked who was next. Not sure why you have the sheet & make people sign in if you're just going to work off of honor system. read more

Went in for the first time. I had high hopes because every other place I went to always did a good job. When I walked inside, it was hot, completely silent, and it felt totally awkward because they were too busy sitting in their chairs glued to their cellphones. My eyebrows were not even close to matching, and was too worried to have her do more work on them in fear that she would start to make them thinner. I had to touch them up myself when I got home. Much better places out in Orange County to get my eyebrows done. I'll stick to those. read more

Great job cleaning up my eye brows! I'm able to see again! Plus I don't look like a caveman anymore. It was 3:30 on Monday so there wasn't a wait. There are plenty of people working. The location is next to Baskin Robins so if you cry, you can get ice cream afterwards. It's next to Target and Stator Bros as well so you can get a lot done in this shopping center. read more

Decent place. your satisfaction depends on the staff member you gonna get. They take their turns as a routine. I once had a girl who did an awesome job she was very patient and did my full face threading very carefully. This time the lady who was helping me was not that smooth I told her that I got a sensitive skin still she wanted to rush it. It was very painful. She didn't bother about the pain. I felt that she wanted to rush and get the job done so she can help the next customer. she focus more on getting more customers helped that giving them a satisfactory service. I did add an extra star for the girl who helped me before. I wish all the staff is patient and nice just like her. read more

The lady that did my brows did a wonderful job, but it did hurt more than I had remembered from my previous experiences. She really took her time and tamed those brow beasts ;] She offered lotion after and rubbed it in with a nice mini-massage. I will probably come back because the place is super convenient and close to home. I came on a Saturday right around opening and there wasn't a wait. read more

On my most recent visit, I came in as a walk-in right when they opened, expecting the wait to be minimal. However, both employees were already with clients, so I waited. After I'd been sitting there for quite a while, another customer came in and asked how much longer it would be. The employees told her it would be about 10 more minutes and even acknowledged that I was next. About 10 minutes later, one of the employees finished with her client. Instead of calling me over, the woman who had arrived after me walked over, said, "I'm just going to go now. I'm in a hurry" and took the chair. The owner allowed it without saying anything to me or acknowledging that I'd already been waiting for over 35 minutes. What frustrated me most wasn't the wait itself--it was the complete disregard for my time. If there had been an explanation or even an apology, I would have understood. Instead, they knowingly let another customer skip ahead despite telling her that I was next. I left feeling disrespected and disappointed. It's unfortunate because the quality of their work has always been good, but after this experience, I won't be returning.
