Regular wash and style took 1 1/2 and on top of it , they ask her for $70 payment arguing that's the price of a long hair . Even though she had a different $ on the phone. Never used their nail service and can't talk about the quality and price of their work. But please do not go there for hair. They don't know what they are doing. read more

Big yikes. I used to come to this Nail salon back in 2016 and tried to see this place was still decent. Boy was i wrong lol. I came in just for a pedicure nothing else and the place was stupid empty. Should have been the first sign but i guess i had high hopes. The advertisement stated 33$ pedicure and i was down since i didnt want anything too fancy. Beginning of the pedicure was ok, once it got to the painting it went downhill. I asked for just plain color no design or anything. She started painting and i guess she had kept messing up? And started using a metal utensil on my nail to peel off the paint... then after she was unsuccessful she took a buffing block and started buffing the paint only in the dead center of my nail. She then buffed for a good few minutes and made my nail bed raw on my toe. After i had said ouch she said sorry then placed acetone on it to help the paint come off lol. Acetone and raw skin, guess how that felt. After she then painted the center of my toes again she somewhat completed it fine? So then i went to pay and she said the pedicure total was $48. Which i was kind of confused on how much the gel was because i did ask for that. She then stated $17. HUH GEL $17?! Theres no way in helllllll that pedi was worth $48 lol. But, its okay because i wont be coming back :^D read more

I've been coming to excel for about a year now, and each time they truly make sure im getting the best care. They are so detailed with the cleaning that I never have to point anything out they missed, like I always seem to have to do at other salons. One day I didn't know they were closing up and they didn't hesitate to get me in. I never felt pressured or rushed since I was their last client and I got the same service as if I went in at opening. Sat down for a pedicure, was barely spoken a single word to. Water was cold (cold enough to not be able to put my feet in), overall poor service. I asked please just file, no cut-- I didn't want my nails too short, they were filed extremely short and they dug at the edges of my toes leaving them red and irritated. At the end, I said the paint looked a little chunky and asked if it would even out, I was told my nails are too short. What??? This business is very DECEITFUL. I came in as a walk-in at 1:30pm for a haircut. The hair stylist and the front desk lady discussed a 2pm appointment coming in later. I got my hair washed, then cut a few inches with light layering in the front. In the middle of blow drying my hair, I was asked if I wanted a "full blow dry". I mean, what even is that? You mean to tell me that you would leave my hair damp and call it a day? I agreed to a full blow dry at the cost of $45. If she would have stopped at that point, it would be $35. The hair stylist asked if I had somewhere to be afterward - for the reason why I chose the full blow dry. No, I just want my hair fully dried. When the 2pm appointment arrived, my hair stylist hurriedly finished my haircut. There was no finesse, no showing me the cut in the back with a mirror and asking me if I wanted any adjustments. When I was at the register to pay, the hair stylist handed the bill slip to the cashier and told her to charge me $45 because it was a simple cut and blow dry. The cashier said to the hair stylist in Vietnamese (thinking I don't speak and understand the language) "let's charge her $50". The hair stylist said, "I already told her $45". They gave each other a look and went ahead and charged me $50. I couldn't believe the deceit happening in front of my eyes. I paid the $50 and tipped $10 (I usually tip $20 regardless but this pissed me off). Needless to say, I will NEVER return. **In response to owner's comment: I don't think so - that is not the conversation you had with the hair stylist. If $50 is the standard cost, then why did the hair stylist tell me $35 while mid-blow drying my hair after she had washed my hair herself? Then it was $45 for fully dried hair. All of a sudden it's $50. That's a bit of a stretch. read more

I really wish I would have read these reviews prior to going to this place. I was in a hurry and picked this place that was closest to where I was currently at. First off I asked for a fill and cut down. She instantly asked if I wanted a pedicure too. I said only if you have time to do it at the same time as my nails. She of course said yes. LIES... I sat in the chair for 30 mins before I got my nails started on. My pedicure seemed fine but really aggressive and hurt on a couple of occasions...today that I started feeling the sensation of like when you have ingrown nails on 3 of my toes. Once I took a closer look.. the polish is bubbly and caked on. It's also gel. My hands are a disaster! The gel literally peeled off two of the nails during dinner. Today I have tried to remove 4 of them and polished with my own nude color Instead. As I write this I discover another nail that is peeling. I just got these done YESTERDAY!!! I paid $115 for this crap including tip. I don't even know why I tipped at this point. I was in a hurry and didn't realize the shit job they did. Do not go here! read more

I tried out a new nail salon as its distance from my house is convenient, and the prices looked fair. When I am in the process of getting my nails done, the lady doing them walks away to start doing someone's hair. I get it, sometimes it's busy and it gets understaffed. The problem wasn't that, it was her lack of attention to doing my nails properly. She rushed through them, leaving the acrylic looking wavy and bumpy after drilling and filing. When she was applying the polish, it was not properly applied, spilling over the edges. When they were finally cured, I was shocked at the lack of attention to the polish spilling off the sides! I had to ask her to fix not only that, but how to shape my nails several times, still not getting it fixed. Overall, I would not recommend this place. I've gotten my nails done at plenty of places, and I've never had my nails look this bad. I will not be returning in the future. read more
