We liked the effort Jerome and his wife were putting in at the wedding of taking pictures and then I saw the wedding photos and thought the work was good. We decided to hire him and his wife, which he noted to us verbally that she would be coming to ours and working it; like we saw at my pal's wedding. The day of the wedding his wife doesn't show up and he doesn't take photos of the details of tables and decorations like we say on his website and several samples he showed us, photos with bad lighting and people's eyes closed in photos that are solo shots. To resolve the photo issues Jerome said he could use photos from friends and when I asked him about his wife the day of the wedding he says she had to work. He doesn't offer us a discount on the cost and it took us over five months to sort out the headaches, select pictures from whatever he had or better ones from friends to place in an photo book album we were obtaining as part of our package and give him final payment for the full original price. We were told by court authorities that we would need to take him to small claims court next to recoup any money, since he was not paying us $100 per the initial judgement in our favor. They also noted it would be best to go to BBB and notify them about what happened as well. Jerome is not a man of his word, doesn't honor court direction and does mediocre work. I recommend you spend your thousands of dollars with someone else.

We met Jerome and Angela at a bridal show and immediately knew they were going to be perfect for…read moreour wedding. They are incredibly sweet, happy, and professional. They offered a bridal show discount and did not charge for travel fees for our distance (about 2 hours drive for them). They showed up on time and worked fantastically together. When we had to start our ceremony late because our guests were all stuck in traffic, Jerome and Angela improvised by taking more pictures. Overall we got over 600 photos. The hard part will be narrowing it down to our 65 favorites for the included photo album! Pictures were taken of everything from the setup to the reception dances. They frequently asked to make sure that we were getting every picture that we wanted, and if we thought of one on the fly, they immediately made it happen. We got the pictures back much more quickly than I expected, and all of their packages come with copyright. (You don't pay extra to own the pictures.) They also gave us a DVD including all of our prints, as well as password-protected online access. The pictures turned out great, sharp colors, interesting composition, and high quality. The only con is that they weren't entirely true to their must-have pictures list. I intentionally left the "bride with both parents" box unchecked, because my divorced parents don't get along well, and those pictures were taken anyway. However, the pictures turned out great and I'm actually really glad they were taken. It made the set feel complete. I would just say that if you're certain that you don't want particular pictures, make sure they know that. However, Jerome and Angela exude a very positive energy that just makes everyone smile! Overall, I would highly recommend Photographic Memories! Their calm, professional, funny demeanor made us smile a lot--and in turn looked great in pictures! They are a great team, great photographers, and incredibly nice people. Their price is below average, but the service is way above average.

Jerry played an essential role in our proposal and then later in our engagement photos. According to the fiancé, the proposal took weeks of planning and Jerry was involved in every step of the way. He was flexible, accommodating, detail-oriented, and reliable. In high-pressure situations such as taking that "perfect" shot of the proposal, he executed without a glitch. Those pictures are truly worth a thousand words, and will become a timeless piece to describe our life together. As a matter of fact, we have a few of those pictures hanging on our wall! We hardly hang anything up, so that speaks volumes about his talent and work! My fiancé and I are also extremely pleased with our engagement photos. He snapped away at the rings, shoes, dresses, and us 5 five chatting away while our hairs were being curled and eyes poked with eyeshadow. After hair and makeup, he snapped a couple of photos with the window light. The hotel room we were in was old and the window was a direct view of the balcony littered with cigarette butts on dirty grey ceiling. He used the lighting instead to catch that glow on my face (see pic where I'm demurely looking to the right on the bed)! We booked Justin Element and his team for videography for our May 2020 wedding, which ended up…read moregetting postponed twice. Luckily, they were so easy-going with the postponements and were available for those dates, so we didn't have to look elsewhere for another vendor. My husband was very impressed with their video editing styles that we knew we had to book them. I loved their photo editing styles as well, but our venue already provided us with a photography team, so we ended up opting for an engagement session add-on as a compromise. Justin was so accommodating and patient with all of our questions and requests, and was easy to work with! We ended up having our engagement session July 2020, in the middle of the pandemic and everything was still closed. Crazy enough, we just went back to the same area recently, and my husband was surprised how it was completely empty when we had our shoot there. Justin got us our pictures back pretty quickly, and they turned out amazing!! I was a little tired from all of the running around, so I didn't look as nice later on during the session, but Justin did the best he could, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome!! Our wedding ended up being in September 2021, and before our big day, Justin had a meeting with us to go over everything and answered any questions that we've had. He was well-organized and helped eased our worries! On the day of the wedding, we met Justin's team: Marvin, Christopher, and Dominique. They were amazing and shot anything and everything that they could! We loved that we were able to see the raw footage because some of the moments captured were very memorable to us! We opted for the same-day edit, because at the time we booked them, we were going to show the video during a banquet reception (that got canceled due to the pandemic), so they worked endlessly trying to edit to be able to showcase the video at the end of the night. The video turned out very well, and even our DJ, who has editing background, was very impressed as well! My mother in law loved it so much that, for weeks after our wedding, she was still showing it to everybody she knew that couldn't attend the wedding. We got our Extended Highlight film about a month or so later, and absolutely loved it!! Thank you so much Dominique for shooting and editing our videos!! My husband loves her editing style and were glad to hear that she was able to come out and edit our video! Thank you Marvin and Christopher for your cinematography skills and capturing all of the memorable (and not so memorable) moments! It was so nice to have one last "goodbye" to this amazing team at the end of the night, when most of our vendors and guests have left! Seriously, I couldn't have asked for a more better videography team than Justin Element's team. Thank you for being part of our big day! It was an amazing shoot that we'd never forget, from your lovely assistant/wife, to those painful blisters from the heels that I wore halfway through the shoot; it was all worth it! Eder was able to find a location not too far from where we live that had plenty of space. He gave our family the opportunity to simply have fun and enjoy the day while he captures every moment naturally.
