I just made my 4th attempt to get an oil change at this location without success. Either their system was down, they didn't have synthetic oil in stock (twice), or they didn't have my filter in stock. A company in the business to change oil and can't seem to change oil. Please avoid. read more

I went for a simple oil change and they tried to upsell me 3 different items: a coolant exchange (which is a service, not a part) , a cabin filter, and new windshield wipers (which had recently been replaced.) Additionally, they do not carry the synthetic oil my car uses (I drive a Honda CRV, one of the most common cars on the road). The guy was an overly friendly fast talker, obviously trying to get me to buy items I did not need. As on older woman, I don't know a lot about cars and I feel he was definitely trying to take advantage of me. They also asked for a donation to a charity. In the end I spent over $135 for an oil change - and that was with a 25% off coupon! I will not be going back. read more

I've had nothing but excellent service at the Athens Take 5. Although the price is on the higher end, the convenience makes it worth it -- you don't even have to leave your car! Also, I find the staff very honest and trustworthy -- they show you your filter and are honest about whether it should be replaced. Plus, on one of my cars they recommended a coolant flush, which I know was past due on my vehicle. Will be returning here often! read more

We came here for the first time the other day and it seemed very disorganized. It didn't seem like the business was very clean. There was a nice pregnant woman working and one other technician. I normally go to an oil change shop in Jefferson where are you waiting in your car while they do the work. There they don't make you start your car numerous times. I take five oil change. They have a checklist that the yellow out or call out which I felt was kind of annoying, but mostly it was the lack of professionalism that I think was the problem and it took a really long time like 10 or 15 minutes they only had two people working. There wasn't like a team of other people in the other bays, there were three cars waiting on my car and the car next to me had to wait a really long time it felt like. read more

I pulled up and this woman came running and yelling at me saying "we don't service Saturns here" and rudely said that I need to turn around in the very minimal space rather than just pulling through the oil change part?? I wouldn't be mad if she would've been nice but she was not. read more

My husbands nanny took her car there for a basic oil change, where they charged her $100. which is way more than what she pays any where else. She did not even get out of the parking lot and the car cut off and would not start back. it was running fine prior to the oil change. She had to call a tow truck to come get the car which was another $100. She had someone from the dealership come out and look at it as her car was under warranty and Take 5 had taken the air filter off and did not put it back on correctly which is why her car cut off and wouldn't run. When she contacted them about this they told her that had nothing to do with them, when they are the ones who took the filter off and it was running fine prior. I would not use them. They are extremely rude and have awful service. read more
