I had the car towed for an inspection on Thursday of the same week and the mechanic there confirmed that the oil in the car was dirty and very low. He was unable to see any obvious leaks and determined the issue was from oil starvation. The car now needs a complete engine teardown, and possibly a transmission teardown with a quote of $20,000.
