I searched the internet and found out it might be the (EATC) the electronic dash controller so I purchased one an replaced it myself, well that let it work for a few days. So I'm back to square 1, so I found out it could be the Blend door actuator, this Item opens and closes the doors under the dash that adjust the Climate Control in the Car, basically the AC/Heater settings so once again I order the part and find out how to change it out on the internet. 2 days of pulling the dash apart and got it done. Great ! AC for a few more days Bang it goes Hot again NO AC so after this I was totally stumped so for course I had to wait a bit and put it in the Shop so I took it to a local reputable shop and they Found a leak in my Upper AC hose, so they fix it but the only thing was it took them 10 days to get the hose because of Part supply chain issues, but they got it fixed a recharged Yay!! Right ? Wrong 10 days later it just starts blowing hot again. At this point I'm like Bull%^*&, and a couple more *&^%^%^. So I took it back to the shop the said they were stumped too. I had told them I changed the Blend door not long before I brought it to them, so they didn't check that again and they told me to take to another shop or the dealer that might have a better Idea about what was going on with the AC. So of course I was looking for to spending the Money I knew was going to be alot, mainly because the whole dash was gonna have to be removed to get to the core of the problem. OK here is were my actual review starts, I start looking for a few places that specialize in Auto AC but most of them were miles away in Knoxville so I was a little disappointed the next day I got a coupon card in the Mail from CarFix auto repair in Maryville so I looked it over and called them. I was Professionally Greeted by Cade Larkin one of the service writers there he was very helpful and encourage me to bring it to them. And he said they would find out what the problem was, so I told him I would be there the next Day. I was greeted quickly all of the crew there are very Professional. Cade took my key and the check out was being done, I was expecting it to be quick and I would just be on my way back home, still driving a hot car. Well they quickly found what the problem was, apparently...the blend door actuator had failed I guess it a common thing with some electronic parts. So I remembered how long it took me to change it the first time under the shade tree,, 2 Days sweating !!! So cade gave me and estimate and assured me it would be fixed and that the part would be under Warranty for 3 years and believe the labor was included in the Warranty for there service, so its like 95 degrees outside Id had enough of driving around in a hot car!! And I told Cade lets get it done, I told him I would wait a bit. He was very attentive he kept me informed of the progress. He told they could give ma shuttle ride home, but I ask if they had Loaner cars. He went out of his way to get one returned early for me. I had brought the car in around 9:30 am at the point that I left was about 12:45PM with the Loaner car. I was gonna do a few errands but decided to go home and get a Nap. At around 2pm I received a call from Cade telling me I could come get my Car!!!! The reason I tell my story is it was the Friday before the 4th of July weekend, this CarFix location was Great!!!! And they even put my New Car Tag on for me. This place is my new go to for car maintenance and repair when I need Service on my car again. Thank YOU Cade and CARFIX!!!!!!

Their style is more casual than corporate and that is great for some people and makes others nervous if that's what you're used to, but they're all about fixing anything that is a true mechanical issue or safety hazard, but won't ever push you on anything cosmetic or non-essential, which is great if you're not a millionaire with a car budget to match! I was pulled over at the gas station to the left of Express Auto Center trying to fill my tire with…read moreair. It was noticeably flat but i could not find any punctures so i assumed it could be refilled with the air pump machine. Well, the machine would fill my other 3 tires but not the one that was flat. I even had a nice group of people test my pressure and they believed there must be a puncture. I was honestly in a pretty bad situation. Had to be somewhere pretty soon, and couldn't really afford to drive on it and ruin the rims as it was super close to being rim on pavement. The group that checked my gauge mentioned i should try to walk over to Express Auto to see if they could patch it. I walked in, and was immediately greeted by the owner and the friendly workers. I explained I was stuck on the other side of their shop. Without hesitation, he sent me an awesome guy to come look at my car with me. He jacked up my wheel at the air pump and literally carried my wheel back with him to the store. The whole time I was there they never tried to sell me on anything and I could tell they genuinely wanted to help. After only like 10 minutes with no appointment, the man who helped me with my tire walked back over to my car and explained that the tire i had mustve been sealed wrong because it was leaking air. There were no punctures so I wouldnt have been able to figure it out. He said that he tested it and resealed it with some adhesive and made sure it did not continue to deflate. Jacked up the car, and put my tire back on. The whole time I felt like i was a hassle because they did not have to help me at all really. I go back to the store to thank them and see how much it would cost and the owner tells me that I am good he does not want any payment...I couldnt believe it. How friendly and helpful they were, let alone that he wouldnt even charge me? I returned to the store to try and give him at least some cash because it was so helpful and i greatly appreciated everyone there. He refused. He said to give it to some of those who may be in more need. Honestly made my day and reminded me there are still good people in this world. My brakes and rotors needed to be replaced asap. They assessed my vehicle and gave me an estimate on the work. Within 1.5 hrs. I was good to go. The time passed quickly because of the wonderful lady at the desk and the guys who, periodically, came in to talk about the work. I had done some preliminary pricing for the job and was pleasantly surprised by the amount they quoted. They're great folks doing great work!
