They charged me for removing and replacing an alternator when they never purchased an alternator. They are not honest people. I asked for an itemized receipt. They sent one over and recently added a note that said, I brought in my own alternator last year. This was a blatant lie. They originally said someone from AutoZone on Camp Robinson brought the part to them. I spoke with the manager at AutoZone, and that was also false. I am a school teacher here locally, and I am enraged that someone would do this. It is completely despicable behavior.

Unfortunately, a $12 car wash ended up costing me $147.97. This was my first time visiting Splash Carwash. The wash itself was nothing special--just good enough to remove the winter grime from my vehicle. However, shortly after leaving, I noticed the rear window molding/trim was missing. I immediately drove back to the car wash. They found the missing piece near the air blowers, but it had been damaged and looked like it had been run over. They attempted to reinstall it, but it wouldn't stay in place because of the damage. I asked if they would cover the cost to replace the part. I was told their air blowers are no stronger than wind on the highway, so they would not be responsible. That explanation didn't make sense to me--I've owned the vehicle for three months and driven on the highway many times without the trim ever coming loose. I asked for the corporate contact information. Instead, they offered to file an incident report, review their cameras, and have a manager contact me on Monday. This happened on a Friday afternoon, so I agreed and provided my information. They took photos of my vehicle and documented everything. Monday came and went with no call. A week passed with no follow-up. I gave the business an opportunity to resolve the issue before posting this review. At that point, it wasn't worth the hassle, so I ordered the replacement part directly from the dealership myself. I won't be returning to this car wash. For what the replacement part cost, I could have had my vehicle professionally hand-detailed--not to mention the time it took to find and reinstall the part. This clearly happened because of their equipment, so keep this in mind if you're considering a visit. As for me, I'll stick to washing my vehicle by hand or getting a full detail from someone I trust.

He initiated an unsolicited political conversation by asking if I agreed with him that a candidate would be a great vice president. I did not agree, then he decided to share his ideologies until my service was complete. This is by far the most disrespectful encounter I've had with a business in my life. As a veteran, I'm a proponent of free speech, but there is a time and a place for such discussions. I won't be returning if I am forced to listen to pontificating political conversations during my visits. On a positive note, I want to give special recognition to the gentleman who actually provided my service (Scraggly reddish beard, a shorter caucassian gentleman who was very friendly) He was professional, courteous, and efficient, making the rest of my visit much more pleasant.
