I tried out this place for my first time . There was only one car ahead of me and one in the bay. It did'nt take long to get into the bay. You stay in your car and they ask you your mileage. I asked if they add my oil change to Carfax as I bought this 2008 Ford F150xl with 230,000 miles on it. It has always been serviced at a does dealer. They said yes. They do try to push windshield wipers for $20 bucks and I did get a new air filter for $34- but it really needed it. Their oil changes start at $48.00 but I bought a higher mileage oil change for little over 80 dollars. Everyone there was nice. If waz kinda warm and one of the guys went in his office and brought me an ice cold bottled water. That was nice of him to do. read more

First time at this Take5 Oil change location. All three gentleman working on this day were friendly, helpful, and did not try to upsell too hard on me, only made what I consider good recommendations and let me decide without pushing too much. The three of them also work extremely well together as a team, to get me in and out in a timely manner. Will be back o when my next oil change is due. read more

I pulled in early afternoon on a Thursday. There were no other customers and someone came out to me immediately. We discussed the service and the price and he had me pull into the first bay. Several of the employees had a hand in completing my oil change - they shout what they have done and everyone else acknowledges the call out. This process must drive them crazy but it is a great way to make sure everything is done properly. In addition to the oil change, they check and top off your fluid levels, in addition to the air in your tires, at no additional cost! Every employee was nice and worked diligently. You will even have the manager-on-duty make sure everything was done to your satisfaction. Great job team! Highly recommend! read more

Take 5 was one of only two places open on a Sunday for an oil change. Despite being short staffed, the gentleman who helped me was upbeat, kind, professional and explained everything to me as he was doing it as well as provided options that I may want to think about for the next visits. So I took my daughter's car for oil change, and we put Mobil One synthetic oil. The service life of this type of oil is 10,000 miles; the guy who attended us told my daughter to come back after 3 months or 3,000. I'm glad I was with her or she would have been ripped off. Also, I need to check what is the usual price of 5 quarts of oil and filter change because $105 is kind of high. read more

I recently took my car to them for my oil change. It's a dealership problem car. They were professional, knowledgeable & patient with me. So far, all is well. It's a huge relief to have a "go-to" back on hand again. The car has made me a nervous wreck since the hurricane & so many various repairs. I truly appreciate them. Of course the "check engine light" was on, not related to oil change, and knew where I could quickly get diagnostics done. She gave me so much information about my oil change as well as information about my car THEY HAD STORED IN THEIR SYSTEM about my car but never told me. Liz went above and beyond giving me all the information. What a pleasant surprise to find this fine crew of workers! The employees were GREAT, friendly, attentive, fast and efficient.

I needed to get an oil change, and this is where I usually go. So I go early in the morning when they're not too busy, and I pull in gentlemen was nice offered me a water like always pulled me into a bay and I waited. I told him I just wanted regular oil change that I always get Lisa. Cool no problem. I turn my car off open the door and let them scan the barcode. During my oil change, I can tell that the girl was struggling a little bit to get my air filter top off, the last time that I came, there was a gentleman that could not get the air filter off and he stripped it. Well now needless to say both sides are stripped. So the top just sits on my air filter which is not good so I have to get that fixed. During the hour that I was there, my battery somehow died, which it has died before and they jump my car off. When they did that it sparked when they connected it. My car comes back on after they reconnected it. However, now my radio is completely unavailable not working and the 911 assist is gone. They didn't reset the oil notification in my car like usual. I did not get a sticker to tell me when I need to come back. The next day I woke up my car wouldn't start so I had to go get a new battery cost me $109 not sure if it has anything to do with the spark because my car has died before. Today my check engine light comes on. Also, my fluids are usually topped off, and my coolant just notified me I needed to add more. Needless to say, I usually don't have problems going here, but this visit was terrible. read more

Best oil change experience I've ever had. Staff was very knowledgeable and their communication was outstanding not only with me but with eachother. The staff were very polite and professional. Not only did they do their job correctly, the biggest reason for this 5 star review, the service on my truck.. But! The staff was also intentional about going the extra mile that other places rarely do.. (Offering me a water, noticing a kid in the back of the truck next to me and offering him a juice box and gummies, wiping the oil off of my truck that came off their clothes while servicing my truck.) Certainly made a strong positive impression on me and I will absolutely be returning and recommending to others! read more

Man let me tell y'all I never had an Oil change experience like this. As soon as I pulled in the bay they asked if I wanted a Caprisun which of course I said yes. As far the service it was absolutely amazing. Have you ever gone to Waffle House and ordered food and they used all these cool codes that's how they sounded. These guys are horrble. One guy says they can service my transmission puts me on hold then hangs up. 3 times! After the 4th call another guy says we dont do transmission fluid change. What a waste of my time. Ill never go back. Be careful this is the type of business to stay away from. read more

I would avoid at all costs the new Take 5 Oil Change Place located on Highway 77 in Lynn Haven. Saturday we took my car in there for a quick 5-minute oil change. Let me say that it was by far the worst decision we have ever made. Generally I take my car to the dealership. It took 5 minutes as promised, but less than 5 miles down the road my car stalled and we were stranded on Highway 77. Come to find out the technician put my air filter in incorrectly and the trash that was in the air filter was sucked into my engine. When we called the oil change place they sent a young technician to try to fix my car on the side of highway 77. He didn't even have the tools to do what he needed to, he had to borrow tools from our friends who had pulled over to help. After about two hours on the side of highway 77 he finally determined that he should have my car towed to an auto repair shop across from the oil change place. They assured me it would be a quick fix and we would be on our way. However the mechanic at Tubby's was unable to fix my car and stated that it needed to be taken to the dealership. After multiple calls between the manager of the oil change place and his district manager they decided they would tow my car to the Nissan dealership. Then according to Eli, Take 5's manager - his hands were tied. I inquired as to whether or not they expected us to walk home and again he informed me that his hands were tied. Al asked to speak with the district manager and Eli politely said that he could not give us the DM's number and that when he asked him to speak to us his response was that he would talk to us on Monday. 2 Days Later! We had to call Al's sister to come pick us up, take us to the airport where we paid $400 for a rental car till Wednesday. But it doesn't stop there it only continues to get better. Today we learned that the Nissan dealership is going to have to change a mass air flow sensor and air filter on my car due to it sucking in the trash on the air filter. The bill is going to be over $700. Now despite the fact that Eli acknowledged fault on Saturday and even had it towed to two different repair shops to see about having it fixed because it was a quick and easy fix now Take 5 is refusing to pay for the repairs and the rental bill. So what started out as a quick 5 minute oil change has now resulted in a complete waste of a perfectly good Saturday and about $1,400 by the time we pay for everything that's had to be done. I am beyond angry. So remember if you value good customer service efficient, well-trained oil change technicians, and your hard-earned money ... stay away from Take Five! Please share so no one else ends up making the same mistake we did! Word of Mouth can be the best or worst form of advertisement! The Better Business Bureau is just a start of where I will take this. read more
