Update: The location of the leak was found to be at the bolt used to change the oil. Turns out, whoever has been changing my oil has over-torqued the bolt and caused the leak. Guess where I get my oil changed...yep, Take 5. Customer Service responded to my review and asked me to call a number to discuss my situation with the shop manager. When I called, I was sent to an offsite call center who transferred me to the location. Immediately went to voicemail and the voicemail box was full. Awesome. read more

Showed up one and half hours before closing and was turned away. The place was completely empty. Hours show open till 8 however those might just be the hours one person is there. I highly recommend finding a different take 5 oil change. read more

It may take 5 minutes to get your oil changed. But it takes 35 to 40 minutes of waiting to get it changed. I left without getting it changed. I was next in line at this spot. I don't know what was going on with the 2 vehicles in their bay at the time, but to sit there waiting for 35 minutes without a "Hi" or any kind of acknowledgement of me being there will make me not ever go back to this place. Customer service goes a long way. This Take 5 could use a little more training on it. I'm about to spend upwards of $100 to $120 and you can't even acknowledge that I am there Deal breaker. Sitting here getting my oil changed and thinking just how great of a job Take 5 does on our cars. Their team of technicians all work together as though they are dancing - anticipating each other's moves, and getting the job done. Definitely a well oiled machine here. They have offered me customer service that is on par with even great servers at fine restaurants - but yet these people are mechanics and technicians - I really enjoy being pleasantly surprised and impressed with top notch service. Price is a bit high but you know what, so is everything right now. Hats off to Sam, Mitch, Devin, and Sarah for their fine and professional work - it's definitely appreciated! read more

Take 5 Oil Change - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Mandeville, Louisiana

I arrived at the Hwy. 59 location in Mandeville, LA at approximately 12pm on 5/6/2023 hoping to prevent going into a dealership for an oil change. When I returned home from the service, I smelled burning oil. After looking under the hood and under my vehicle, I noticed that the dip stick was not secured fully as well as the cap on the windshield fluid tank. I had oil on my engine and on my driveway. This is absolutely unsatisfactory considering what I paid for the service. If I had not realized that the dip stick needed to be secured, this unprofessional job could have compromised the life of my vehicle's engine. If the weather was not so bad, I would have driven back immediately. Not to mention, the oil on my driveway is a complete mess since the rain has now spread the leaked out oil. On my way to work, my low oil light came on, so I pulled into Take 5. I explained the situation and explained I'd just like my oil to be filled up. he said ok and proceeded to collect all of the necessary information from me regarding my car. I then sat in my car with no assistance for ONE HOUR. Mind you, there was only one other car in the bay of the shop. They finally work on my car, and WITHOUT MY CONSENT did a full oil change. I've sang the praises of 5 Minute Oil Change before but I'm about to do it again. It's not easy being a single girl who knows nothing about cars. My dad and brothers live far away so if I need car assistance they can usually only give me phone advice. Sometimes that works and other times not so much. Recently I was on my way out of town and it was pouring down. Guess who needed new wiper blades? I couldn't see a thing and even if I did know how to change them (I do not) I wasn't about to try and do so with two little kiddos in the car and in the rain. 5 Minute Oil Change to the rescue. I pulled in and asked for the blades to be changed. No problem, ma'am. The guys here are respectful, professional and not at all condescending. Also....My engine was making some god awful noise and had been for some time. The sweet guy asked me to pop my hood (I had no clue how to do that so he did it for me...I know, I need to take a class or something) and diagnosed the issue even though they couldn't fix it there. This was my first time going here and I had a wonderful experience! Every guy there was extremely helpful and kind. I don't like leaving poor reviews, especially when the employees were polite, but I was taken today and charged 2.5 times the price I normally pay for an oil change. It was justified by, "but we're faster and nicer." Really??? Because paying 2.5 TIMES the normal price is ok? Even Blue Harbor, which everyone knows is pricey, is half that price, and at least they give you a car wash to go with the overpriced oil change. So if all you want is fast and have a whole lot of money to burn, go to Take 5. But if you don't feel like setting your money on fire, and spending $123 to change your oil, run and go elsewhere. read more

I bought a new car four months ago and I couldn't figure out how to use the automated oil change notifications. I went to five minute oil assuming I was due for an oil change. The guy not only showed me how to work the automated notifications but he also told me I was not due for an oil change afterall.
