Brought my car in because the brakes went to the floor, they replaced the back brakes and said I had a bad caliber, they told me the price and although it was expensive, I agreed because I needed to get it fixed. When I picked up my car, the price was a lot more than what was quoted. And the brakes still go to the floor. So still dangerous to drive and manager didn't seem to care. They also had added a brake kit on there that was $11.09, I was charged $110.90. clearly added a zero behind it. Didn't read right on my invoice. When I called about it, I got an agent that didn't listen and didn't speak clear English. She just kept asking if I wanted to make an appointment. I told her I needed to talk to a manager and she put me on hold and told me the manager was with a customer and will call me back. I waited an hour. I called back and I was told that the manager was still with a customer. So I decided to drive up to the store only to find out that it was closed for the day. Not once did the agent that answered the phone tell me they were closed but lied to me and told me the manager was with a customer all 3 times I called. I did call the next day and the manager said the invoice was wrong but then said they charged 110.90 for new lug nuts. And he isn't sure why it was billed under a brake kit. Never apologized, never tried to make it right and honor the invoice. Over $700 for back brakes, one caliber and "lug nuts" ! I called the Davenport store just to see what they would tell me and I asked how much for the same service and the guy was extremely nice and gave me a breakdown and even said you can bring in your own lug nuts if you would like to save money! That is honest!! The only reason I even went there was because my lug nuts were stuck and I couldn't get them off, otherwise I could have done the work myself. So disappointing that there was no communication! That is poor business taking people for as much as you can and not being upfront and honest! Had they been honest and quoted the correct price with the breakdown BEFORE the work, and maybe if the brake pedal still didn't hit the floor after paying all that money, then I would have something nice to say!!

Not only did they do what they were asked, they also noticed that one of her sensors were bad. They gave us pricing information before we left and other tips. We'd had a long busy day and were all over the place trying to explain things. They were patient, shook our hands, joked around a bit. A few years ago I had made an appointment for an oil change. A couple days before my appointment, they called to tell me I did not have a card on file. I said, "That's correct. I am just getting my oil changed. You don't need that." They told me they would require it. I have been to countless Audi dealers throughout the US and never once have I been told I need to keep a card on file. It struck me as odd how adamant they were. I hung up without giving my information and never went to my appointment. Fast forward a couple years to where we are today. I dropped my car off at the service center and was given a loaner which is standard practice. After diagnostics, they advised me that a part would need to be ordered. I said that's fine, but they were giving the impression that I had to return to the service center, drop off the loaner, and drive my car until the part came in. This is odd. As I've mentioned, I've been to several Audi dealerships in the US. If a part needs to be ordered, they keep me in the loaner until the repair is fully done. Whatever, not a big deal. I had to return to the dealership anyway to get my work laptop I left in my car. I drop my car off a few days later on a Friday to get the thermostat replaced and they discover that a different part needed to be ordered. They allow me to stay in the loaner for the weekend. This time it was okay I guess. I don't hear anything Monday from the advisor, but get a text on Tuesday that they are behind and the work should be done soon. No big deal. I have a loaner. On Wednesday, I get a text that my car is ready to be picked up. When I get to the dealership to pick up my car and pay, the total is quite a bit more than the estimate. Like $600 more. The estimate was $1200 and I knew there was an additional $100 worth of parts that needed ordered (that I had to approve myself through a webpage mind you). The advisor stated, "I made the executive decision to go ahead and replace an additional part." Excuse me? YOU made the decision? An additional $600 more.. You did not consult me and never once did I say, "Cost doesn't matter. Do whatever!!" Granted, the replacement of this part was necessary, but I was never consulted nor was I ever told there would be additional cost. The only time I was notified was at payment when I questioned why it was so much more than the estimate. The advisor explained what the part was and asked, "Are you happy? It is a lot of money." I mean, do I have a choice? You did the work. The part is in. I'm stuck with this bill. They did give a $100 off which thank you I guess. But that doesn't offset the cost of using a credit card. They charge a 3% fee to us a credit card. Never in my life have I been to a LUXURY car dealership that charged for using a credit card. I've been to dealerships in multiple states and never have I been charged extra to use credit. You're supposed a LUXURY car dealership and you can't absorb the cost? I've worked in accounting and finance my entire career, at companies making way less, and even we have absorbed the cost of using a credit card. Honestly laughable, but I guess cost as many costs as you can. As I said, you unfortunately do not have other options for Audi dealerships in the area. Your hands are kind of tied. However, out of all the times I've been to an Audi dealer, in all the states I've been to, I've never felt blindsided like I did at Audi Quad Cities. So no, I won't be back. I'd rather pay to have my car towed to Iowa City or Peoria if it's inoperable than return to this service center.

Took 2 weeks for them to even look at the car and then claimed the engine was locked up and it needed a new engine. We knew that was a lie since the engine turned over. Took it to a place in Bettendorf and 2 days and a new fuel pump later, its back running. If you didn't want to do your job you shoulda just said so.
