Waited 35 minutes in the bay and they didn't start work on my car. The place is understaffed and rude. I head the tech say the car they were working on they forgot to attach a plate to the bottom of her vehicle. Wow. So I told them to open the garage door and I'm leaving. I usually am such a cheerleader for those guys at the one in Norman on 12th and Alameda because they are always top notch, but today they turned me away. I pulled in at 4:10 and they dont close til 5pm. The oil changes are 15 minutes....The guy came out and told me i had to leave......super rude and couldve found a better way to say it. I work in customer service myself and wouldnt handle a customer like that. read more

This place is toxic. We have taken three vehicles there and all of them left with mechanical problems. My most recent visit lead to my vehicle's undercar shield dragging the moment I left my oil change. When I returned they told me it was so damaged they couldn't refasten it. So they took it off, but couldn't put it back on? DO NOT GO TO THIS SERVICE STATION. read more

THEY ACCIDENTALLY DRAINED MY TRANSMISSION FLUID. They still added oil and failed to recognize I had twice as much oil as I needed. My car wouldn't drive out of their parking lot and my car had to be towed to a dealership and now ***I HAVE TO PAY FOR A RENTAL CAR AND DAMAGES*** and bring them receipts to "file a claim". I asked to speak to the district manager and never got a call and it's been 3 days. Brand new location!!! This is the old location of Long John Silvers. To start, you get to stay in your vehicle and they offered my daughter a Capri-sun and fruit snacks. What great customer service! We were the first once there and they started working on my vehicle right away. We were in and out of there in about 20 minuets. Take 5 always has coupons, so pull one up on your phone. We found one for $8 off for a premium oil change. Roy was our main tech. and he did a great job. He gave us all they recommendations with out being a pushy salesman. I will definitely be back for my next oil change. read more

Take 5 Oil Change was good if you need an oil change and not have to wait to long. I received good service but thought it a bit pricey. Any time you go to a shop or dealer you usually need an appointment and then you sit and wait. They had me out in about 20-25 minutes. I would probably go back if I just needed an oil change. They do check other things that you find may need to be taken care of by them. read more

Took my truck in today, they drained my oil and did NOT put any oil back in and sent me on my way. I pulled out of the bay and noticed no oil pressure and stopped. They were confused at who's job it was to refill the oil. They put 3 quarts in my truck on the slope I was stopped on and said it was showing full. My truck takes 6 quarts even according to them. They would not give me a refund because the manager said "it takes too long since I used a card" tried calling two different customer service numbers and no one will answer the recording just says leave a message. I'll start with how they force employees to pure pressure customers to buy things such as air filters, cabin filters, wipers, and coolant exchanging when customers wouldn't need it. Also made employees lie to them too and take their money they talk bad about customers cars and how they look any customers that use take 5 make sure you take pictures under the hood and under the vehicle I bet half of Norman area skit plates that is under every vehicle don't have one cause they don't reattached it because the customer can't see it . RACISM let me tell u I was call every name In the book by two ASSISTANT MANAGERS out the 5 months I was working there they over worked me and had me do theirs jobs for 11.10 while they made $14-16 an hour. They had me lie to customers about not having their oil or filters and had me lie about the service we did they told me to send the vehicle to another shop so we wouldn't have to do the oil change i was told this by my ASSISTANT MANAGER also had me tell other customers I was the manager on duty when I was never a manager and damn sure wasn't getting like one either. And every single person in that place smoke weed on the clock and while working on your vehicle soooo I wouldn't trust them PS. Buy your own oil ,oil filter, and filters from auto zone or Walmart and have them do it $50 -$60 JUST SAY NO TO ANY OTHER SERVICE THEY OFFER read more

Given the threat of Covid these days, the advertisement "you stay in your car" was the hook. There were three young men working who were all very professional and friendly. Our total time start to finish was no more than 20 minutes. I wanna say I think it was a little more than I usually pay but I would totally recommend this location. read more

I tried this place out due to it being time for my car and I was pleasantly surprised. All of the technicians were wearing their masks correctly and were changing gloves in between customers. A technician greeted me with kindness and offered me a cold bottle of water. They were working quickly and kept me informed every step of the way. I will be returning here. Wife's car started running horribly months after an oil change. I never drive the car but when I did I immediately knew something wasn't right. I checked the oil first expecting it to be low. It was high. Very high. Like the engine was FULL high. The wife was driving around over 2500 miles on a FULL engine. Not the oil was where it should be but like the tech topped off the crankcase full! I went back and explained what had happened. My wife is a school teacher so the mileage wasn't even due yet for a change but 5 months had elapsed. He immediately copped an attitude with me and asked me how does he know I didn't put that oil in there. Because, I guess that's a thing. I said, I dunno, how about the filthy oil and dirt covered fill cap that shows no smudges or indication it was touched? Not to mention the fact that I stood to gain nothing by sabotaging a car of it's age. (2012 DOdge) Anyway, I told him I wasn't looking for a lawsuit I just wanted some oil drained which he finally agreed to. I have no idea how much damage was done in that time but I'm sure it wasn't good. I did not appreciate the accusatory stance the manager took. The first tech that talked to me tried to tell me that I didn't even take it to them as he was looking right at the receipt with their address on it. Telling me these people aren't even here... OK? So I am out of luck because someone quit, moved, or was fired... Never going back to this place and will never recommend it to anyone I like. read more

Tried to get my oil changed here a few weeks ago. The unfriendly guy who met me asked what I needed. I said an oil change 5w 30. He scoffed and said yeah that's the weight. Do I want synthetic or conventional? I said conventional. He then spent the next 10 minutes telling me why I'm wrong and need synthetic. I finally said just close it up. I'll go somewhere else. The manager came over to ask what was going on, and the guy just kept on yelling about checking the cameras. That you can hear the audio. As if I cared. I changed it myself with fully synthetic and spent half what they were charging. read more

It took way longer than expected and it was not that busy. My fluids were not checked to see if they needed to be topped off, nor my cabin air filter and air filter. Usually it is done at other locations, so I asked for it to be done here as well. I did not feel the same great customer service as I always do. read more

Everything seemed great until I took my wife to lunch right afterward, when I saw a puddle under the car as we left the restaurant. Initially I assumed the AC was dripping a lot from the condenser, but way more than normal. I checked the oil and the level seemed high enough so I drove to Walmart, which was thankfully right down the street from a VW dealer. After leaving Walmart, we got in the car and the coolant alarm went off. I stopped the engine, popped the hood, and the coolant reserve tank was low and the pressure-sealing cap was left loose. Well, that explains the puddle at Chipotle. I went to VW, got some of their fancy European coolant, but it's a concentrate, which requires distilled water. Distilled water is not available right now except the stuff in the baby section with minerals added to it (pointless to distill and at minerals, wtf) so I added just enough coolant to get me home (an acceptable mix for cold weather climates, so safe but suboptimal) and now the car is stuck out of service until I find some legitimate distilled water to finish getting it back to regular operation. All it would have taken is making sure the cap was tight for this to have been a great experience, but the result Is I can't recommend this place at all. read more
