Returned later that day and was told they could do the oil change but then determined they didn't have the oil I wanted, Shell Rotella T6 oil. Said they would order it and have it next day. I have been using Take 5 since 2018. I personally have not had an issue with anyone or anything. They have always been respectful and polite. They have accommodated my discount I get for being a rideshare driver. Which is severely helpful. They listen to your concerns and reassure you of what they have available and what is the best for your vehicle. I currently have a 2019 Ford Fusion, so I know to keep my vehicle of optimal functioning, I'm going to have to spend a bit more than I like to but it's worth it. This last oil change I got, I got the service, a new air filter, and a new windshield wiper, all for roughly $150. Which I find quite reasonable for those 3 things all at once. read more

Our experience here was awesome here, and Dustin made sure of it. He really knew his stuff and was able to give us the best advice for our vehicle. The entire crew was meshing well, and it seemed like they might even enjoy their jobs. In the pit, I could hear one giving advice to a newer pit tech on how to troubleshoot an overtightened bolt. They mistakenly drained the transmission fluid when they were supposed to do an oil change. They returned the car without even refilling the transmission. They will not pay for the damage and servicing! Could have totally destroyed the transmission which would have been many thousands. They will not take responsibility! read more

Awful service. They advertise a five minute oil change. Not true. I waited in my car for 25 minutes before a worker came out to talk to me saying I was next. Again not true. The "5 minute" oil change is very misleading. I asked why others were going ahead of me and was told that they had appointments. Nowhere was an indication that appointments were necessary to get the "5 minute" service, and nowhere was there a phone number on the premises. In addition, to go on their website to complain they want a credit card number first. All of the signage and banners are very misleading. Avoid this business. read more

Wow, came in at 0745 today to get an oil change on our way to Dallas and Seth and their team was AMAZING. Hands down best service ever. Husband is Active Air Force and is avionics and he even said the level of professionalism and having someone re-check everyone's work is what they do on the flight line so he definitely appreciated the quality of always double checking the work after it's done. Do not use this place, they do not stand behind their work. They installed windshield wipers on my car incorrectly, one flew off on the highway and ruined my windshield. I went up there, they replaced my wipers and said they would be in contact with me about replacing my windshield, after two weeks, nothing! I call and speak to a manager who was very apologetic and said it was his fault and he would get back to me the next day, well that was a week ago. STAY AWAY!! read more

I came in last week for an oil change & my car started messing up afterwards, took it to a different shop to see what was wrong & my alternator was unplugged, i sat right there and watched this shop open my hood & i personally saw my unplugged alternator so no funny business on their end. The only other place i've been is this take 5 & i know an alternator doesn't come unplugged easily, believe me i know so i'm just very disappointed in this place & won't be returning. My wife just went in to get an oil change at the Norman OK store in Main Street and they absolutely screwed her. We have a 2018 GMC Terrain with less than 30,000 miles on it and they told her she needed a full synthetic oil change at $84.99. There is absolutely no reason for her to have the most expensive oil change that you have for a 6 year old car with that amount of miles that is not a high performance vehicle. NEVER GO HERE. A monkey could have probably done a better job than these guys. Came in for an oil change in March. In May, my engine started rattling and it turns out I had no oil in my engine. Zero. Upon further inspection by my local mechanic, he said there was no leak that may have caused oil loss, and that there must never have been enough oil in there in the first place. He also said that there was oil EVERYWHERE and it appeared as though the person who had completed my oil change (the Take 5 guys) was blindfolded when they did it. My guess is that they were quite rushed and spilled oil under my hood and did not bother to clean it up, nor fill up my engine with the remaining oil that was lost in the spill. Thank God there was no damage to the engine of my car and that it was only $100 to get it all cleaned up. I will never be coming back here and I suggest you never go. Pathetic, Take 5. read more

Usually do my own oil but I went in for an oil change because I needed it done quickly and needed to stay clean. I got there at 9:20 or so and didn't leave until 10:40. There was one car in front of me and only one lane open, they charged me 73 dollars for That. There were only two workers so I get being a little slow but that's just ridiculous, tell me if you're gonna be that slow man. Y'all advertise a 10 minute oil change. I expect it done in 30 at the most. this visit reminded me why I change my own oil. i won't be back again. read more

They were so nice! Cyle was helpful on pricing and which oil to get. Also did a lot of other things for free that i wasn't expecting (filling up my tires, topping off coolant, wiping my windshields!) Everyone there seemed quite friendly! Also, its always fun to get recognition for driving a stick, which they seemed to appreciate! Will be coming back for the next oil change. (Oh! It was a great place! Right when I rolled up, they immediately welcomed me and gave me a bottle of water. Madison (employee) walked me through the oil change process and air filter. She was kind to let me know what she was going to do to my car. It was nice to have a woman help me out and answer all of my questions without any judgement. This place totally ripped me off. I am a student at OU from Texas, and a few months ago I needed to get my oil changed while I was in Norman. I found a coupon on their website so I decided to go there. I will say that the service was great and that they were quick, but they told me I needed to get some "special" oil for my car, and when I asked for the normal oil, they said it would ruin my car and wouldn't give it to me. Long story short, I paid over $70 to get my oil changed and they wouldn't even let me use the coupon I found on their website. Yesterday I got home and took my car to get the oil changed and tires rotated at Firestone and it only cost $40, no special oil needed. I will never go to Take 5 again. read more
