Preface: I initially called a few weeks back about a different service (headlight bulbs), but the guy I spoke to then (possibly old manager) wasn't super pleasant over the phone and I ended up taking my car to a competitor to get the work done. But now, we came in to talk about tires. Rob (who I believe is the new manager) immediately greeted us and was super friendly and knowledgable. He was patient and took his time to educate us on tires and the work we needed or *didn't* need. I'd highly recommend Rob to be your main point of contact for anything. When you're spending hundreds or thousands of dollars on car upkeep and maintenance, Rob is the type of person I would trust all my vehicles with, to give me an honest opinion and do honest work.

This Peru Walmart Automotive Service Center employees park customer vehicles that have been…read moreserviced in the handicap parking spaces. It may seem unbelievable that anyone would park in a Handicapped parking space for any reason when they are not eligible/authorized but it happens at Peru Walmart Auto service area. My visit today was not the first time Walmart Auto Service employees have parked a not handicapped eligible vehicle in a marked handicap spot. I have no idea how thoughtless/mindless an employee or anyone would be to park like this. I did call and speak with a store manager and she said it would be dealt with after reviewing security cameras. I believe she was sincere but, I also believe that after the attention fades the employees that did this will go back to their lazy ADA thumb their noses ways. Please pay attention to the Peru Illinois Walmart Auto service Handicap parking spaces and bring violations to the store managers attention because obviously ADA means spit to the Auto Service Manager and employees that do this! I should post a picture of the vehicle that was parked there but it would bring further embarrassment to the young lady that had her car parked there.

Since then, I have attempted multiple times to resolve the issue. I called on Friday and again on Monday, spoke with two different individuals, and was told I would receive return calls, which never happened. Due to the lack of follow-up, I had to extend a rental car while waiting for guidance. Being told afterward that the tow would be "covered" did not address the failed repair, the safety risk, or the lack of communication. I expected better quality work and responsiveness for a safety-related repair. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing.

We had a two hour drive left and a flight to catch. The office staff gave me a ride to town to get lunch while their mechanic worked tirelessly on his solution. They offered very competitive pricing and worked non stop to deliver my vehicle in a shorter time then planned. They are also helping us to support what happened by documenting what they saw. That is way above what I would have expected.
