Went to this take 5 because we took my wife's car there for oil change, even though it's 20 min from our house, the people working were nice, efficient, so when I needed an oil change on my new truck , I drove 20 min to this take 5, but instead of friendly, I got this complete ASSHOLE, manger, I was the only customer there, got nothing but condescending attitude, what a first class jerk, don't worry , I will not be going back, or any of our 4 vehicles!!! I left there worrying if he did a good job or half ass!! How do these type of individuals, get a job working with the public?? Buyer beware!! There are many other places to get an oil change where your business is appreciated like the new Valvoline station on Johnson Ferry and Roswell Roads, which is where I'm going in the future. I had a terrible experience at this location with Take 5 technician Twila Hood who's attitude was extremely hostile towards me. Although there were five techs there, and no other cars being serviced, I received very poor customer service! If I had read past poor reviews I would not have gone back there. First, Twila didn't want to honor my military card to receive a discount, which I had previously used there and I showed her past receipts. So, I said ok close my hood and I'll go somewhere else, but she said she couldn't because they had already started working on my car! Then, they didn't perform the other services which the receipt states they perform. There is a service checklist at the bottom left on the receipt showing the other services they provide, but some were not checked. Although my receipt shows "safe level", Twila said my coolant was low and suggested I go to Napa and they would put it in for me. I paid $20 for a large bottle Zerex from an auto parts store, yet the coolant only needed toping off, which they should have done at Take 5. Twila didn't check my wind shield fluid until I mentioned that the washer fluid light was still showing low, so she put a hose in the washer fluid reservoir. The receipt shows my wiper blades were checked, yet they were not and needed replacing as well. My car is a Mercedes so, of course, it required the higher levels of service cost they offer, which is fine but not with the rude attitude I received! All in all, it was a terrible experience and I will not go back! I am contacting Take 5 headquarters to relay my encounter with Twila and their staff at TAKE 5 ON WOODSTOCK ROAD. read more

I loved the service from the manager Bobby & one of the workers, Demarcus. Very nice gentleman that got my oil change in a decent amount of time. They were also honest about which oil I should get and did not try to force a decision out of me for a higher grade oil like most places do. I will be going back. read more

I pull into this place at 5:20pm and figured I had plenty of time to get an oil change before they closed at 7pm. I was not greeted, rather than I was approached with the question "do you really need an oil change right now? It's almost closing" After I insisted on leaving because the gentleman who was working looked like he had a terrible day, I was told to please pull in and they'll take care of me that evening. I politely waited 20 plus minutes for the Tech's to finish other customers who were there first. Once my truck began being worked on, I had to listen to the tech complain (very loudly) about how much he hates doing oil changes on Diesel trucks and how terrible this made everything. I paid my ticket and was told by the people working there to take my truck elsewhere next time. Here's an idea for this business: put up a giant sign outside that says "WE DON'T DO DIESELS" rather than guilt tripping the customer for simply wanting a routine maintenance oil change read more

First time visit. I often get mailers about deals from this location, but I typically change my own oil. In this case, my daughter's car needed an oil change, so I decided to save time and use one of the coupons I saved, which was a good deal for a $24.93 conventional oil change. I pulled into the garage, and there were 3 guys standing around, and asked to open my door to scan. I did, and then I asked them to make sure I can use the coupon. The reply, "Oh, we don't use that oil anymore, that was a House-Blend...we only use [whatever] now" I mentioned that the coupon did not have a expiration date, and that I did not need anything fancy, just the basic oil change (2008 Pontiac). "No, you can't use that coupon, we can give you $10 off, which would be like $37 total" Yea...no. So I told them to close the hood, and I would be doing my own oil change. (which was quite easy, I found on this car) What is sad is that there was another coupon on the Flier that did have a Oct 31 Expiration date...but not the one I was using. If you are going to publish coupon without an expiration, honor them. Don't give me some story about "house-blend" oil. Just another way to bait and switch a customer. Don't get taken... read more

Went there on Monday May 9, and there were only two people working. They asked if it wanted to wait because it would take about 30-45 minutes to get in, and I said I don't mind waiting. Not only did they get me in and service me and send me on my way in less than 30 minutes, but both employees were respectful, well mannered, chipper, and knowledgeable. Despite being short staffed and working their butts off in the heat, they were so kind and quick. A third employee came in and his attitude and demeanor was just as positive and friendly. Absolutely the best experience. They checked all my other fluids and air filters and one employee even cleaned out some leaves from my hood as he passed by. Just went above and beyond to make sure my car was taken care of. So so tickled with superb customer service. read more

What a rip off. My teenage son took his truck in for an oil change. They told him he needed synthetic oil and charged him an excessive amount. $78.47 later, he's learned his lesson about this place. When I called and spoke to the assistant manger he blamed corporate for the pricing. On the itemized receipt they charged $29.99 just for the labor. That's a pretty steep labor charge for a business that claims to be fast. Buyer beware and go anywhere else in the area. read more

Myself and one other customer arrived about 45 minutes prior to the location closing, there were two vehicles ahead of us and the two male workers, one of whom appeared to be in charge at the time made sure to voice their dissatisfaction with our arrival...repeatedly. They went on and on talking about how annoyed they were that "everyone" decided to show up at the "last" minute. The other customer that arrived after me decided to leave before getting their vehicle serviced, I should've left too. I'm not even sure if they completed the oil change correctly because they were so openly annoyed. One of the customers that was there ahead of me felt compelled to offer an explanation as to why he arrived when he did. Just awful. My advice would be educate yourself on the store's hours of operation and make sure you do not get there within an hour or so before closing. They don't have to concern themselves with receiving future business from me. read more

DO NOT trust these scumbags. They DRAINED my oil after I said I didn't like their pricing and wanted to go somewhere else. I went there this morning to simply get an oil change because its closer than my usual place. They kept trying to uncharge me and get my to buy more expensive oil than I wanted and while I was talking they had drained my oil before I had authorized or agreed to anything. At the time I was not sure because they have you sit in the car so I could not see anything but I felt the car moving around from them working on it. After I said I am going somewhere else I specifically asked if they drained my oil and they lied to me and said they didn't. I immediately went to my usual place and checked with them to see if they did and it turned out these scumbags actually drained my oil and lied about it. If I didn't know any better I would be driving around with zero oil in my car and it would be destroyed. PLEASE do not go here, this place should be shut down or hire completely new staff. read more

This place was odd. They promise refreshments in their advertisements but never invite you to leave your vehicle. Their package prices don't include a shop fee so suddenly you're paying much more than you expected. But the oddest thing about the experience was the length of time I spent there. One customer was being finished up as I arrived so it was just me and three employees who showed absolutely no sense of urgency and seemed rather unorganized. I got out of work at 6:30 tonight and went by to get my oil changed on my way home. I showed up at 6:40. They close at 7 and advertise 10 minute oil changes. When I arrived, the bays were all closed. I called to see if they were still open, and one guy came outside. He told me that he didn't hear a bell and said "most people don't show up for oil changes right before closing". That is a direct quote. At that point, I left, as it was clear that he had little interest in helping me in any way. If your employees can't work your posted business hours without whining to customers about it, I suggest you either get new employees or new business hours. read more

Its one of those places where they try to overwhelm you with offers, services, add-ons, etc., all designed to up the bill. I went in asking for and expecting the 24.95 oil change. Ha, no way! They keep you in the car, so you can't see all the stuff they are doing, and they don't ask before they do it, either. Keep coming at you with what's wrong (that is, what will kick up the tab), particularly the ever popular "time to change the air filter." Kind of creepy. Fastest Oil change with great customer service. I've been here a few times now and have always been pleased with the service. I literally got an oil change in 10 minuets. WOW!! That's how long an oil change should take, but when I go to my dealership it takes over an hour. , plus this place is right by my house. So glad I found this place. Never again. Their signs advertise 10 minute oil change for $24.95. Of course that is for cars that don't exist. My Toyota RAV-4 couldn't get out for under $62.99 with tax. But the worst part about the visit was that they "checked" everything and even took out the air filter and jammed it back in. They tried to upsell me for a transmission flush for an additional $79.99 and I passed on that. When I finally got out of there my car sounded like a truck and the dashboard was lit up like a Christmas tree - engine light, 4-WD light, tranc light - whatever that is. I went to the AAA Car Care center 4 miles down Sandy Plains Road at Gordy Parkway and they were gracious enough to take me right in and discovered that the air filter hose had not been attached and that thankfully was the problem. They fixed my car right up and couldn't have been nicer. Guess where I'll be having my next oil change?! read more

I came here for my emissions. I pulled in and they directed me right where I needed to go. I don't remember any names of the guys working there, but they were very nice. He offered both my brother and I a fresh drink and said the other guy would be over with us in a minute. While we waited he asked me basic questions such as my name, phone number, etc. It took maybe 10 minutes for them to start on my car. Everything was well. They directed me out, and were very polite. BUT later I got home after running two other errands after this. I noticed my gas tank was still open and my gas cap was completely off. Which means I had to drive all the way back to get it. Thankfully they found it and put it back on for me. They apologized and gave me a 25% off oil change coupon. Also, later on when I went to the tag office I noticed they spelled my name wrong. No big deal obviously, but who spells the name "Lucy" as "Lusy"? But overall they were polite and it didn't take too long for them to do my emissions. read more
