I made an appointment several days in advance. I arrived for my appointment time and Will was the only person there and originally said he had no familiarity of my appointment. Once he looked in the system, he saw it, and then informed me that his peer, that was to complete the work had to leave for the day. He at least had the decency to point me in the direction of where I could find the part I was trying to have replaced. I called the number on google earlier that morning to ensure it was still scheduled and good to go, the lady on the phone said yes. Don't make an appointment here and expect the work to be completed. They will mislead you and then make excuses as to why it can't be completed. The leadership here should address their employee shortages, we all know plenty of people that are qualified and would be glad to have work. read more

Mr. Jeff and his team are the most considerate and professional people I've ever encountered at a tire service. I was headed to the ER with my sick toddler when I got a flat tire alert. I stopped at two other tire shops on the way, neither of which could offer same day service (one didn't even great me after standing in the lobby for 15 mins). Frustrated, I ran to Pepboys desperately looking for help. Jeff was friendly, efficient and very courteous. I will never forget his kindness. We have used this Pep Boys location several times lately for our tree cars. Had to purchase new tires and their respond time has been quick. They are really friendly and we feel that prices are reasonable. Also the location is great, not far from the house. read more

I used CarAdvise to book the appointment and although there was a bit of a hiccup on their end Rick went above and beyond the help iron everything out and get me the best price for my service! my car was in there for a week, then they told me the issue was due to my "aftermarket security system" which i had never installed and seriously doubted was on there. so i had to go somewhere else to get it "taken off" and they told me there wasn't one! i went back and the "aftermarket security system" in question was actually the gate fob to my complex! they didn't even check if i actually had one! and i still had to pay. what a joke. i would write this off as a misogynistic experience but the other reviews seem in line read more

This establishment is not honest. Called to have some work done and Tony said bring it in about a hour. I travel to the location and finally get there to be lied to and saying I must've called another location and they couldn't service my vehicle. I called the same number back and Tony put me on hold for 5 mins and when I called again he didn't pick up. As I was looking at him because I was still in the parking lot lol. "Same-day appointments" are pure bait-and-switch at this place. On my first two visits here, I made an appointment in advance and arrived on-time for said appointments, only to be told that 'oooh, sorry, the people ahead of you are taking longer than expected, let me book you in for another day instead'. Fine. I just had some bad luck, right? I instead went to other area garages who really do have same-day service, didn't think much of it. Then my elderly mom needed help, so I booked an appointment here for her as well. She goes through the busy traffic that scares her so much, she makes it to the place, wheezes on in to wait for her appointment, and guess what happened? 'oooh, sorry, the people ahead of you are taking longer than expected, let me book you in for another day instead' These vultures advertise same-day service just to get their proverbial foot in the door, and then they try to keep their books filled by scheduling you in for an actual appointment during a genuine opening later in the week once they have you hooked. They have no consideration for your time or hardship, and they are proof positive that you should just forget that your friendly neighborhood mechanic ever existed once they get bought out by a corporation -- the business you knew and loved will never be back again. read more

I wish I would have read this before. I took my car. To be fair, they did get my car back up and running but they most definitely ran up the bill, fix things that had nothing to do with the main issue and the. Turned around and obligated me to the payment. They are very dishonest. Skip("owner"), Jeff(front desk person) come off very friendly and smile but are very deceptive. I would most definitely ask for a diagnostic report before proceeding. I would also get a few different opinions from other places first. I had shared a specific budget and it was 2-3 times what I could afford. If I had the time I would find 2-5 more people who can assure the same happen to them and sue! It's just not right times are hard and if your business is not for the community in all facets you shouldn't have one! I also called and the number came up as CNCC LLC or something like that. Making me wonder if Pep Boys Corp franchises their brand. I probably will look into but too many reg flags. Also I had issues related to what they actually worked on and they didn't claim any responsibility. Integrity isn't their thing! If you have money to throw then by all means. I value my income and how it's spent so I was extremely disappointed with the explanations and lack of ability to communicate in the simplest form the step by step process and allowing me to decide what I wanted to take care of as it pertains to what needed to be done in order to advance. I learned a very valuable lesson. I should have made sure everything was clear, never do business over the phone. Also make sure they are clear and considerate of you. Jeff also was not the most competent in explaining anything whatsoever. Ask the appropriate questions and he just shrugs his shoulders and stand silently as if he has no knowledge of what is going on besides what someone else tells him. Talk to the mechanics! Make sure it can be verified by two or three other mechanics outside of that location before proceeding. Research average cost for work as well. Do not take their word for anything! read more

buyer be ware don't go here. went here for alignment and the front desk guy calls and says I need a wheel bearing and two tires so all is good I said I'll bring it back next week. but I decided to go to Firestone and they told me my wheel bearing is fine and the alignment was done wrong. pepboys they should have said get two new tires and it would have been fine but they had to add extra lie in there to add the bill up. never go there again read more

Just like many of the reviews for this store, the majority are bad. Mine is no different. Tried to get truck and oil change and tires rotated, sounds simple. Aaron the manager would not the tire because he sad I needed an alignment. On a vehicle that has 12,000 miles and didn't drift in either direction. So I had to take to some else to rotate the tires and said I didn't need an alignment. This is another example of a PepBoys with incompetent people running a store that doesn't care about customer service. PepBoys is closing store across the country and it obvious why. Stop using PepBoys and lets join together to put them out of business. read more

I highly recommended this location! I came to get my new trailer tires put on, on a Sunday. Even though they were really busy they were very helpful and got the job done in a timely manner. TERRIBLE SERVICE, 0 STARS WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO MY WORST ENEMY. I drop my car off for an oil change Saturday around 345. They were supposed to call me when they were done with the oil change which they did not do. I called up there around 645 to see if my car had been serviced they said the car had been done even though I was not contacted. I told them I was on my way up there to get the car and they told me I could not get my car back until Monday because their system is down and it would not allow me to pay. I had to call the POLICE to get them to give me my car back... they also quoted me $42 for the oil change, but when the police showed up they charged me $57!! Which I payed because I was not leaving without the car. NEVER GO HERE EVER. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS AT ALL. read more

What a 3 ring circus! I had a specific appointment for an oil change and arranged for a pick up at 9:30. At 10:00 I was still there! Ring leader Rick went to the work area and returned telling me a lie saying saying they are adding the oil, a half an hour later they added the oil. Then Rick told me I should take my Ford to a Nissan dealer to have brakes. Ring leader Rick told me I did not have to "change" the rotors they make a machine to turn them. He spoke in a demeaning manner as if I was the idiot. He should look in the mirror. I will never return to this rip off place. I wanted an oil change and was charged $100. for a stinky oil change. They chose to remove my tires for an oil change! Never again read more

I came in for a flat tire. The staff was very nice and attentive, helped me out right away. The leak was small so it took awhile to find but they went above and beyond to make sure they found where the flat came from! They fixed me up and sent me on my way! Great guys, thanks! read more

Very disappointed with my visit. Went in to figure out what was wrong with my a/c and was told that my compressor was bad and it was going to cost me over $1000 to replace it. Decided to get a second opinion and learned that the compressor was fine and the only thing wrong was a bad switch, which cost me $100. Staff was pleasant but I definitely felt like I was taken advantage of. Spent $50 for them to run a diagnostic test and they didn't even find out what was wrong with my car. read more

The manager Aaron was remarkably helpful from the second I walked in. I needed a battery check and synthetic oil change and they were having a manager's special so they reduced the cost of the oil change from $89 to $54 and he said they would also do a head to toe check including the battery. After I waited, he said I needed a new battery and he called a different store because they didn't have one in stock and the other storwas trying to up charge me to $300 for the new battery but he wasn't having that and got it for me for the normal price of $184 and he gave me a 10% student discount making my total $270 for a new battery, new air filter, and synthetic oil change. He was very nice and helpful the entire time kept talking to me while I waited for 2 hours for all this to be fixed. The the next day I returned because my radio said "enter code" and I didn't know what that meant and Aaron was there again and he completely remembered me and everything about my car and he said one of his techs didn't fully connect the battery and he fixed my radio by going through my Owner's Manuel and found the code. He could have just as easily told me I was capable of doing it myself, but he did it all for me and was very nice and went out of his way both times I came in.
