Brian and Sharon are easy to deal with. Some people think their prices are a little high, I say it's worth every penny. I don't like being given a load of crap to make the shop money, and they won't do that. Don't take your investment to a basic mechanic to have them do something they don't specialize in. Williamson Auto specializes in fixing your car the right way and more! They do honest work, and what their estimates say needs to be done, that's it. Brian, the mechanic, knows what he is doing. One of the few shops around that will give you an estimate and stick to it. If he says something needs to be fixed, then it does. And same goes for if he says it doesn't yet need work, then he leaves you with the option of repairing something and paying for something that didn't really need to be done. There are no corporate mouths to feed, no CEOs, and no stockholders setting the prices. Keep your business in this small, homegrown, experienced shop, and you will not be disappointed. After visiting multiple auto shops I kept receiving such entirely different explanations for what was triggering the particular diagnostic codes and huge variations in what services would need to be done in order to fix the issues, that I almost gave up. As a young woman, I am well-versed in the stigma of dealing with employees in male-dominated service industries. Most women would rather go to the dentist than to a repair shop with the anxiety of possibly dealing with rude, snarky, dishonest employees. Not only did it not make sense that I was getting such different information from the service shops, but the manner in which I was treated was downright degrading. My family and friends told me to bring along my boyfriend in order to get up front and honest information. I explained that people can end up overpaying for services if they don't understand what's wrong with their car or the repair. This to me is unacceptable - I should not have to have a male standing beside me to be listened to, let alone actually HEARD. I did one more search and found BHC AUTOMOTIVE (which was only 6 minutes from me), and thought, "well, ill give this one more try". After replacing the "Secondary Air Injection Valve" as well as the "Fuel Pump Assembly" (NOT EASY WORK!)... I am happy to report I am now driving a legal, safety-inspected vehicle after months of headache! And for a VERY affordable price (almost half the cost of what others had quoted). Glen and his crew are bottom line - AMAZING. They are honest, genuine, trustworthy, reliable... I could go on and on. They are also HILARIOUS! While they were unable to look at the car that day due to existing appointments, I talked to Glenn for some time who freely gave me some very valuable advice. He was incredibly polite, professional, and helpful, not to mention generous with the time he had in order to help me. His advise helped me to take appropriate action that in the end led to my being able to purchase the car with confidence. After going to Brantley's for years, we went to Jiffy Lube for an oil change today because Brantley's wasn't open, and it was a horrible mistake. We should have waited until he was open. They forgot to screw back on the undercarriage, and we had to turn to around immediately to get them to screw it back on. This has never, and nothing like this would ever, when we entrust out cars to Brantley's.
