This incident made me super upset and was turned up to look as it was my fault not miscommunication but my fault. So i come for the 15 month check up there are two shots that were left to be given so we up to date. And i am aware about it during my daughter's appointment everything seems fine we went over lots of topics where one of them was my feelings towards giving shots tonight because of the time - it was already like 7.40pm and during our appointment i mention that i would like to have shots during morning appointment because i do not feel confident/comfortable that it will be at night while she will go to sleep and i cant watch her to see if she is okay. Appointment was done i dressed my daughter back to her clothes i put her jacket on and i am opening the door and i see nurse standing in front of me saying ready for shots. I am surprised because i thought we spoke about this and i nicely tell nurse that yes we will come back for those during sometime in the morning hours. She runs to the doctor. Doctor comes in and tells me this; there is lots of misleading information about shots on internet and if you refuse to give shots today you should find another doctor. I am standing there in shock i said doctor what are you talking about? I am not refusing shots and i believe we spoke about this in our appointment? I told you that i do not feel comfortable to do it at night and believed we were on the same page... the. Doctor said this: if you not giving shots this is big waste of money. And that shots cant be used for anyone else. And i either do it tonight or i have to find new provider. I took my child and i said i wont do it at night. Next day i called to talk to manager and she said same thing it was wasted and etc. and that i also refused shots before which by the way not true. Once i came for shots and they told Me they dont have it at the moment so they will Call me when they do. And they saying this is why we are behind our shots. But they forgot that there was/is corona where everything slowed down and plus i never refused any shots why i would refuse if i did start Shots since my baby was born. Only one shot i asked why i should give was hepatitas A because this one only required at some colleges? I asked ... and i said so maybe she can do it if she will choose to do it when she grows up. So here i am Looking for new provider and its totally fine but be aware of this place and you decide whose fault it was! This is coming from a mother who is not against shots and was kicked off for refusing shots because doctor said as HE UNDERSTOOD i only didnt want to take mmr shot at night. As he understood... he told nurse to get shots ready and it became my fault...this happened at Bolingbrook location. So here is my story choose wisely;)

My pain is caused by 3 herniated discs and it's extremely difficult to drive a total of 3+ hours to make the appointment from Woodstock to Bolingbrook so we requested a remote/online cancellation which was denied. In order to cancel my treatment plan and receive a refund for the remaining appointments, ProMED required me to be physically present for an exit evaluation and made no exceptions for my situation. We tried to communicate our concerns at the lowest level and asked to escalate my issue to Dr. P but they quite literally ignored our request by referring to policy. My oldest son, trying to resolve the situation by providing insight, called 3 days in advance but was met with unsatisfactory customer service by the Office Manager, Kelly. Kelly refused to honor my son's request to speak with Dr. P and when he stayed persistent by calling once a day, he was accused of harassment. Even though they do not have a written policy, they kept insisting for me to be there to get a refund which I paid in cash $3342.97 which also included $102.97 in supplements. I had received 7 treatments out of 36 and I decided to cancel the treatment since driving for 3+ hours increased the pain rather than helping it. I felt more like a number to them and not a person. I've noticed that they recommend 36 treatments for everyone and mislead you by stating that they are not a chiropractic service even though Dr. P is a chiropractor. Also, they do not have enough assistants and that even a receptionist had to get involved in the treatment process. Days after leaving ProMED and being forced to drive to cancel my treatment, I have even more agonizing pain. The cancelling Promed treatment program is ridiculously harder than switching doctors. Note: Even though I showed up for my appointment, I still have not received my refund.

After about an hour of this I say to the person I'm with "how much longer until we leave" and the receptionist instantly overhears me and gives me some excuse about paperwork. Once I tell her I'm leaving a doctor walks out of a door saying they are ready to see me, I assume only because they heard I was leaving. I was then sat in a room for over an hour where they gave me a very basic exam and just left me by myself the rest of the hour. I later realized they did this just so they could charge me for the visit as if I walked out before going into the back they cannot charge me. The doctor was also very rude to me, there was a younger medical student that was probably the nicest and kindest person in that entire office shadowing her though. When it was just me and him in the room he didn't straight up apologize for her but said something along the lines. The doctor also was questioning me on why I was on which medications which I find very weird considering I have been on them for years and a psychiatrist is the one in charge of them to begin with. She was trying to tell me I shouldn't need certain medications which I found very rude. I'm also deathly afraid of needles so when she wanted me to get a blood test I said no, no matter what I would say she would keep on pushing for me to take a blood test. I maybe told her no 12 times before I told her if she says anything about a blood test again there will be a problem. Please keep in mind this was just for a simple knee exam as it can be up to a 6 month wait to see an orthopedic.

I thought it was turning into an ear infection or sinus infection so I had to find an urgent care ASAP since it happened to be January 2nd and everything was closed in observance of New Year's Day. I called to confirm this place was an urgent care and that they were open. The woman was polite on the phone and told me they were open and they weren't busy at all at the moment. So I zipped over and she was right, no one was in the waiting room. Just me myself and I. They work on a walk-in basis FYI. I was seen within 2-3 minutes of checking in. The doctor came to my exam room within a couple minutes of my vitals and info being taken. Dr. Hornung was who saw me and he was professional and nice. I was in and out of here in 20 minutes but they didn't rush me at all. It was spectacular service for someone who had no energy from being sick. This place is located at the corner of Eola/New York St. They are right next to Paulie's Bar & Grill and there is a subway right there too. The whole office and waiting area was super clean and tidy. If I need an urgent care again this will be the first place I think of. Definitely recommend. If you're reading this, I hope you feel better soon!
