Friendly staff. The nachos were ok, but the chips are a bit salty and from a bag. The tacos were good. The fried fish taco had good flavor and was a good size.

The closer you are to the Pacific Ocean it seems like the better pacifico tastes. Or is it just me?

Takos and Beer has some really great tacos....flavors I never would have thought of. A great beer and to feel a selection rounds off they're offering and with the name like that what could go wrong? House Margarita is very good at a reasonable price but keep in mind when you upgrade your tequila to patron or Don Julio your price will go loco just like it would anywhere else. House margarita: delicious for $8 Patron Marg delicious for $19... you decide.

The service was very nice and attentive and the ambiance is a sports bar feel. Ah, we could do without that but we're not football ppl so it's all good though. We had the Spicy Cauliflower Bites which were very tasty, a margarita and a sour beer, a tako bowl and a la carte tacos. Other than the green salsa being a little bland the food and drinks were very good. We would recommend.

This was my first time in the new location! The inside is amazing and the patio looks like a good time, however, with summer approaching I'd consider some shade and/or misters. The food is the same menu with a few differences. We had the machaca and eggs, pozole and egg and ham burrito. The machaca and eggs was good but I'd probably plate it a little different as the machaca was a little soggy so something underneath it would be a good idea. The pozole was plain and needed spicing up and there was more solids than soup. The egg and ham burrito was plain and unseasoned. The bartender was great at suggesting a cocktail based off preference and the drinks did not disappoint. Overall I think there's def some tweaks but I wouldn't be opposed to coming again.

Stopped here going through Yuma it's a newly remodeled that was fast food spot, still handy with a functional drive thru actually too. The vibe inside is def not what I was expecting, had a resort-bar kind of feel and was cool with TVs available to watch some games also. The food was fire got the gator taco, costillla taco and some wings. Each taco had the perfect flavor and accoutrements that made every bite a new spin on the one before.

They have moved to this new place since the last time I was here which also is a drive thru as well. I sat inside and the service was perfect. Cold beer, food came out fresh and hot and had a great presentation to it as well which adds to it. The food and flavors always comes together in perfection and some of my favorite takos you'll find away from the everyday ordinary same ole same ole. This place has great prices and gives not only quality food a taste but also makes sure it's more than enough. Definitely enjoy coming here when I get the opportunity.

Great spot. The building has a fun local bar atmosphere and Reggaeton music. Lots of fun drink selections including a Margarita Flight. We ordered a few appetizers, multiple tacos, plus Tres Leches and churros for dessert. The chips and guacamole were ok--chips are a bit thick and corny for my preference. Our Birria was not the version with queso and consume which was a disappointment, but all other tacos were good. Tres Leches was fantastic. Service is fast and friendly. A solid lunch choice. Note: the Yelp address is wrong at time of posting. They moved to a new building down the road 2640 S Fourth Ave.

HOUSE SIGNATURE GUACAMOLE and CHIPS & SALSA

Tacos were great and cauliflower was seasoned and fried perfectly. Guacamole was pretty much just avocado with sprinkles of cheese and pomegranate seeds. I would suggest asking for pico and mix it in with some salsa and lime, that's what my sister did. overall service was great and friendly, very clean and we received our food and drinks right away.

Great little Mexican food spot. They have lots of interesting dishes such as gator tacos and spicy cauliflower bites. I tried the al pastor drakulas and their guac with chips. Their al pastor drakulas were satisfying and oh-so tasty. The guac had pomegranate and cotija cheese sprinkled on top and honestly I wished it had a lot more; those two ingredients set it apart from other guacamole dips. Full bar for those who drink. Pretty decent looking beer menu. Beer flights and mimosa flights. Really good looking margaritas as well. The staff was super friendly and helpful when it came to ordering. read more

The tacos were delicious, the Tako Salad with chicken was good but the chicken was a little dry. The flavor of the chicken was good though...smokey-grilly tasting, and the fresh avocado was a nice addition. Their house salsa is yummy too! Their patio is shaded and breezy on a warm day. Visiting from San. Diego for a baseball tournament, We are glad to choose this location for a quick lunch. Annette our server was great. Good knowledge of all the dishes. And served us very quick. The staff is super friendly. It's a small establishment so yes, it's noisy but not annoying. The fans are on but it's neither hot or cold- it's nice on a 112 degree day. The drinks are good but not too strong. The chips are great. My mom loved the chili rellano taco. The chicken taco was delicious. We shared a bowl of pozole and that was a little blander than I expected but still good. We'll be back next time we're in town. read more

Definitely a pretty good little taco place to go to. Although the tacos are the smaller "street style" tacos, every time I've gone they definitely loaded them up. Highly recommend the street corn and I would pass on the chips and salsa. Chips don't taste the greatest in my opinion (very thick) and the salsas are too watery. Maybe it'd be better if the chips were thinner or the salsa was thicker. It's a little on the pricier side for tacos so you'll be spending 20+ for 4+ tacos, but they have a big variety of different tacos and meats. If you want a more "upscale" sit down taco restaurant this is the place to go. read more

We ordered to go from Takos & Beer because their tacos looked delicious. We ordered three shrimp tacos, one fish taco, one Al pastor, and 3 Tripas tacos. All were so good but the shrimp was our favorite. It was deep fried and battered perfectly! Tripas would have been better with more meat in the taco. Next time we may ask for double meat if they can do that. If not we wouldn't order than one again. We will be back for sure. read more

Disappointing. The reviews made me think the hype was real - it's not. Chorizo cheese and bean dip appetizer all very clearly came from a can/jar. Salsas also probably come from a jar. The tacos were hard OKAY. We tried a variety. The pastor was good, the cabeza also fine, the pescado was probably the highlight because it was actually quite crispy and light at the same time. Excellent! My husband and I stoped at takos n beer for breakfast. I had the huevos rancheros and he had the temple. Both were delicious. Good portions. Coffee was tasty! We stopped here on our way to Tucson as the menu looked different. When we arrived there was a good size parking lot and upon entering the restaurant, live music was being played. There are some high long bar tables outside in the shade, as well as indoor seating. Service most friendly and menu items that you do not see it everywhere, like gator tacos, pulpa tacos (octopus), grilled pork belly tacos and lobster tacos. The food was tasty and cooked well. Definitely worth a repeat visit. read more

Hey, food was OK wouldn't call it great but what really killed me was the fact I asked for a shot of Hornitos. I mind you it's not top shelf tequila. They charged $10.25 for it!! I can go out and buy a pint for $14 at a liquor store and a fifth for around 20. And a pint of Negra Modelo they charged $7. So just be mindful of the fact that they charge way more than they should for alcohol. read more

The guacamole was bland I needed to add salt and lime juice to it. I also had the pulpo (octopus) al carbon and they had so much chorizo in there. I couldn't even taste the pulpo very disappointing. I really wanted to like this place. I will say this, though the staff was very friendly and the food came out quickly. read more

Being in town only a week we had to check out Takos & Beers Taco Tuesday. I tried the 8 taco and beer special for 14.99. The tacos over all were good, but I wish they put more meat in them. The tacos are already 1-2 bite size and they could have at least filled them up. It was nice having 8 different tacos, so I guess you give up volume for quantity. Stephanie, our waitress was awesome! She brought us samples of beer before we picked and was super welcoming. I would definitely recommend checking out this place but if you have a big appetite maybe grab an appetizer along with your 8 taco special. read more

Without a doubt, this is my very favorite place to eat in Yuma. The camaron empanizado tacos are so SO frickin good, that if you ordered nothing else, you would still be satisfied with these alone. I always split an appetizer chicken quesadilla with my boyfriend and I always douse it in their green salsa. Everything I've ordered has always been so fresh, and delicious I've never been disappointed. This is the one restaurant I'll long for when I move away from Yuma. read more

Someone here really knows how to cook! It is our go to stop when driving from Tucson to San Diego. The al pastor fajitas are spectacular and there are so many different kinds of tacos to try. Sadly, we haven't tried any of the drinks since it's a quick road stop. They look really good! Service is friendly and their new location is spacious and clean although the music was too loud for me. read more

GF got the churro French toast breakfast plate with poached eggs and bacon. The waitress (Caitlin?) didn't pay much attention to our table. When we got our food, the fried chicken breast in the sandwich was lukewarm and she didn't ask about any sauce (ranch, etc) for the onion rings. The lady had to ask for the poached eggs and bacon. Also, she ordered an iced mocha with oat milk and caramel. Correct me if I'm wrong, but nowhere on the menu did it say that oat milk is an additional cost. Caramel was an additional cost. For a puny little iced coffee it ended up being $10. No refills. And we had to ask for ranch. She filled up my boyfriend's water glass and not mine. If it's empty, fill it. It's a hundred and something outside, please make sure all your guests are hydrated. The bill was $70. The lunches were extremely overpriced for what we got, to be honest. I know that prices have gone up and that inflation is a thing. I get that, I really do. The chicken sandwich was definitely not worth $15 and although the onion rings were good (and I'm thankful we weren't charged extra for them), it was still a letdown. This was akin to a $12 combo meal at a fast food joint. The first time I was here was a couple months ago. I had ordered the Denver omelette and when the waitress came out, she brought the wrong omelette ,(the three meat) out and didn't even try to correct her mistake even AFTER I had said it was wrong. That waitress was also inattentive and ignored us for the majority of our meal. We don't eat out a whole lot so it's a treat when we do. Less of a treat to receive subpar, overpriced food and subpar service. Sorry.

Amazing!!!! We are huge taco snobs, and I'm always looking for a restaurant that cooks better then I can. Oh we finally found one!!! Everything was delicious, you can taste the high quality and fresh ingredients. The wings were AWESOME!!!! Highly recommend the mango habanero sauce. Even the kids meals are delicious, the fruit was fresh and sweet. Great selection of tap beers is a huge plus and the Margarita was perfect! To top it all off the service was spectacular! Even during this trying time they were on top of everything and provided extra sanitation stations and wipes! Thank you for an awesome meal! read more

I ordered the Vampiras (one Asada and one Al Pastor) and a 1500BC (pork belly) taco. My husband ordered the Fajita, three meats. All delicious! My friends ordered the guacamole for the table.
