One of the most amazing experiences I've had on a cruise excursion. The sea plane trip over the glaciers was exciting and beautiful. 30 minute flight from Juneau. The lodge is small but that's what makes it so awesome. No more than 40 people there at a time. Family style dinner served in the lodge offering grilled salmon was delicious. The herb biscuits were wow. Got the recipe to make later. Got a visit from the local bear, Hans. He sat in the tree by the grill patiently waiting until we all went inside and was allowed to climb down. Had a small souvenir shop and a short trail walk if you chose to do so. Lodge overlooked the Taku glacier. Awesome place. Flight back was a little shorter but offered different views and more flyovers of different glaciers. Highly recommend. read more

This was an amazing tour. Weather wasn't great on our tour day but we got lucky & were able to go. The sea plane ride to the lodge was awesome. Saw 5 different glaciers & lots of beautiful Alaska wilderness. The lodge is quaint, warm, & rustic. The lodge workers had made a delicious homemade lunch for us. Fresh grilled salmon & lots of sides including homemade biscuits & bread. It was very tasty & you could tell they cook with love. I loved there was a fire going & lots to see at the lodge. It was so quiet & relaxing. The lodge workers were so nice & inviting. The pilots were very friendly & they had a nice narrated tour on the way to the lodge & back. Truly a once in a lifetime Alaskan experience. We loved it! read more
