It was good - 4/5 stars. The Ippin ramen was a disappointment. The broth had a sharp and bold sweetness to it. Unfortunately, it was the sweetness of sugar rather than bone barrow broth. Umami is nonexistent at Ippin Ramen and Sushi. The pork bellies were thin slices of pork bellies and tasted horrible. Just Imagine eating steamed bacons, and that was the taste. Yuck! Fish cake was one big thick cut of imitation meat. The ramen here is no where close to Jinya - 2.5/5 stars. The restaurant is nice looking inside and the service was good. There were no other customers and one to-go order. Price is fair, ramens for $14.95 although I wouldn't pay for that price and special rolls are $12.95 each. Bottom line, get sushi and avoid ramen at Ippin Ramen and Sushi.
