Jorge is a very skilled con artist, he is kind and charming and pulls you right in until your last check...we found other reviews about a month into our project and got nervous and then he started the same con - illnesses, injuries, family issues, all the while living it up on our dime. He walked away from our project 70% incomplete, we have a large hole in our wall where the wrong door was installed that he said would be replaced in a day or two, we have a massive unfinished patio that's a giant pile of dirt with none of our actual stone that he told us he ordered two months ago, then a month ago and of course now he's gone, if you are googling this guy because you are nervous / your instincts are spot on. Everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie and his workers have no idea what they are doing. We couldn't be happier with the way our Master bath & flooring came out! The men were on time everyday & George was on site every morning and mid-afternoon. They cleaned up and packed away all tools every night. The only problem we had was the dumpster company did damage a few pavers but George had it repaired. I wish there was a zero star rating. He's a serial scammer. Never received my completed project. All I got was a 60,000 hole in the ground that wasn't even dug correctly. He claimed to have drilled rock to put in an 8 ft pool, but it wasn't deep enough. Paid an extra 30k for an incomplete fence and home repairs. The lies never stopped. He was in the hospital, his phone broke, family passed, his subcontractor allegedly delivered a stillborn and killed herself. This guy wanted to put pavers in my yard before the pool was done. Never received a refund, itemized receipts, invoices for alleged supplies ordered, etc. Claimed in May he signed another contract with a pool company but the actual contract wasn't signs until August. The other subcontractor was waiting for the first payment so he could begin. Talavera construction never made the first payment and kept giving more excuses. He was finally fired, and refuses to give us any of our money back. Since we signed the contract almost 2 years ago, the project is about double if not more what was originally quoted. So I'm out the money that he basically stole and I have to lay out even more to complete the project. Run! read more

Too bad there's no option for ZERO stars. Signed contract and paid owner George Talavera a deposit in June. He very quickly became unreachable. Chased after him for a few weeks and got a few sob-story excuses about delays, vacation, personal problems and injuries that any decent person would believe at first. More weeks go by with NOTHING before we begin to receive emails from proxy relatives (cousins, brothers, etc) using owner's email to make more empty promises. NO ONE SHOWS UP OR RESPONDS TO EMAILS, CALLS,TEXTS OR REQUESTS FOR CALL-BACKS. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! BUYER BEWARE! read more

Working with this company has been a DISASTER!!!! It started off great. The owner id very charismatic but then once he has your money he turns on you!! He started a project on the outside of our house. We paid him for that. After months with lots of excuses if finally was 90% completed. There are a few things that didn't get finished. Then we gave more money to do our kitchen. He has lied SOOOOOO many times and I have record of every email and text. The cabinet guy even said he never dealt with someone so shady. He told the cabinet guy so many times he would come pay for the cabinets but never showed up to pay. I basically had to pay 2 times for my kitchen. He will not return emails, calls, or texts. This left the cabinet guy in a bind also. He legit told me its the cabinet guys fault and when I talk to the cabinet guys they are like nope he never even ordered the cabinets. This happened 2 times. We signed a contract with him 12/20 and we still dont have it all done. He has every excuse in the book. I am not the only one he is doing this to. I did not want to write this or have to have a law suit but he left us no choice. We want our money back and we will drop all legal actions and stop writing about him but until then I want everyone to know that he is a crook and you don't want to be in my situation.
