I have been here going on 5 years now. This is my home because that's what it feels like. The staff from the leasing office to the maintenance are great. They have a wonderful online request that is usually handled within 24 hrs. and you can pay your rent too. The apartments are very roomy and the layout is great. The grounds are well maintained and lush green for Las Vegas. Beautiful greenbelt walking trails out your door. 2 mile radius shopping of Downtown Summerlin, Boca Park, Tivoli Village, Trader Joes, Sprouts, Wholefoods, Albertsons, Smiths. Only 15 minutes from the strip, and Red Rock. Only 40 minutes from Mt. Charleston and Lake Mead. Bus lines right out your door. 2 swimming pools, and spas, fitness center. If you are looking for a long term rental to ease your life this is the place. read more

NIGHTMARE: DO NOT MOVE. I am only writing this review because one of the reasons to move in was that I checked their reviews before and was good. The reason why other people give 5 starts is because there is a reward plan that give you gift cards, rewards, those stuff. SO DO NOT BELIEVE IT. So, I have learned a lesson, do not trust in reviews. It have been a nightmare since day 1, when I moved in and I need to fix so many things, look like I bought a old trash house and I need to repair, everything falling a part, any details is cheap, since the floor that I need to buy carpet because the floor is a super delicate glue adhesive that peels off and makes holes. Second, the staff is rude , one one girl that seats in the back is nice, always smiling. Third, if you are looking for a quiet place, this is NOT the place at all to leave. The staff do not have a quiet hours, only who leaves. This was said by the manager, saying that I am lucky that they start making work noise at 7 , because they could start at 5 am ( her words), but NO, I am not lucky at all to leave here. It have been the worst three months and I look forward to complete my one year lease and moved out. They have all day to "clean" with those lose machines, that actually is a mess, because spread out trash to your door and make your place look like trash. But they decide to start every day at 7 am.If you have baby, dog, work at night, good luck, the most annoying sound will be waking you at 6:50/7 am every day until 9:00 am. And when I complained I saw the worst answer from a manager in my life. The lady was not polite and never solved my issue. My advice there is 0 reason for you to move in. There are plant of nice places around and cheaper than here. read more

Absolutely horrible complex. Management is a joke. Brian Stith is a horrible manager and only addresses the concerns of a select few tenants. He has no common sense and just harasses tenants based on little to no information. Water is shut off several times over the past year that I have lived here. Most of the amenities were not available most of the time that I live here. Office and community has gone downhill since I last lived here. No one answers on the first call. I have to call several times just to get someone to answer a phone and they never what they are doing and just make excuses. Do not rent here!!! read more

Broadstone Talavera is a great apartment to live in in Las Vegas. Every aspect of living here is great! Maintenance does fixes and keeps everything is great shape with a short turn around. The grounds are really nice, and there is both complex security, and patrols from the community of Pecole Ranch, so it feels really safe. The complex is also adjacent to this amazing park that snakes through Pecole. I walk my dog in it almost every day. The pools are nice and have grills. The gym is spacious and has decent equipment too. The only thing I want that they don't have, are gas appliances. Everything is so nice including the front office staff, that it more than makes up for this. Overall I would certainly recommend considering Brodstone Talevera if you're looking to live in Summerlin or Las Vegas. read more

When I first moved into this place, I was promised the floors, bathrooms, fixtures, and etc would be fixed and or replaced due to whoever lived there last broke stuff and left a mess. When I moved in with my family everything was still the same except for the floors being washed. The fixtures were still broken, the maintenance sucked terribly, because it took them 6 months to actually fix anything. The gym they had was ok till a bunch of kids or teens broke everything and thought it was funny. The parking here was terrible, you have one or two spaces and if you have a 3rd vehicle or friends coming over good luck, no parking, park far from where you live mainly. While living here they upped my rent out of no where saying they had a small rate increase then when my lease was ready to be up, the girl said would you like to re-knew your lease, I laughed at her and said nope I am leaving this cockroach haven that you call living, she asked several questions as to why I was leaving I told her, then when I moved out they tried to nickle and dime me on damages that I never made, the home was spotless except of course for the rug common sense needs to be washed. I warn anyone wanting to move here, you think you get a good deal look out your not, cause they want people cause they can't keep people, the only people they keep there is people who enjoy the basket ball court and that's it other than that it is a worthless piece of trash property that has problems. They try to make the deal sound great or act all common about it, but nope they don't give a crap who they screw as long as the CEO or owner gets the money from the renter it's all good for them. I have seen and lived at way better than this crap. I was coached in by the sales lady who showed me a very clean and tidy apartment, so I had mine for my family it was the other way around from what I saw and I called them on it and they said they forgot and said they would clean it or take it off my first months rent or when I move, so I said when I move, it was all false it isn't true they lie and cheat people. I only got to stay here 3 months but I loved Broadstone. The front office was always super nice and attentive from the day I came looking and their helpfulness was what made moving in so easy. My loft apartment was fantastic if a little hot upstairs, but every service request was answered in a timely fashion and the surrounding areas were always nice and clean. The ONLY reason I am leaving is because my boyfriend that I moved in with and I split up, but I honestly may just get a 1 bedroom somewhere else on the property! read more

Complete bullshit. They've lost 2 of my amazon packages now haven't got an apology or a replacement. My lease is up in June and I can not wait to get the hell out of here! Also there has been a water issue. They turned off the water for the whole community for 4 days cause a water pipe exploded and when it was fixed finally, the cost of the fix was dispersed to all the tenants rent! So WE had to pay for the fix not the COMPANY we had to wait 4 days without water and then PAID for the construction!! INSANE never have I ever! My car was left under the carport and it got broken into! I notified the leasing office but all they said is they will let security know to monitor that area more. I was expecting more empathy and action to be done by the leasing office such as notify all the residents there has been a robbery, ask details about the incident such as where it happened, especially if you going to try to tell security to monitor the area more. They were not helpful or willing to do any precautions to prevent future robberies. This is a very serious matter to have occurred on their property. The lack of regard for crimes committed on their property is very disappointing and alarming. read more

Moved into a dirty unit, yet paid a cleaning deposit..f.y.I. This WILL NOT BE RETURNED....I was also charged " standard cleaing deposit when I moved out! Place flooded 3x toilet water all over my bedroom, ruined my bedskirt, etc..they didn't care, or clean it.,.took carpet pad out, took 2 weeks to put one back..meaning, I had to step on nails all over my bedroom, until I insisted it be replaced.,.they replaced only a piece...carpet was tore at front door..never fixed, just kept getting worse..again, stepping on carpet nails daily...lots of drugs...my x husband was using meth upstairs ..the staff knew..I had an order of protection..they smiled to my face as I was changing my locks..knowing he was there, while I was terrified... The grounds are nicely kept..please, don't be fooled...your paying for it!!! I actually left early, paid my dues, to keep my credit..another story..this company can not, should not be trusted...I still speak with the friends I made there , there all leaving rent is anuallly raised ..minimum 100.00 .. These people are crooks. They nickle and dime you for every penny. Be aware they will charge you to pick up your trash with a compulsory trash service even though you may be 100 feet from a dumpster. Don't be fooled by the beautiful models. When we first moved in we absolutely loved this place!! This was until we saw how GHETTO the people around us were. No body has regards for other people, if there is ever a problem and you have to call the office or maintenance they couldn't care less. Replacing a KEY that cost 3 dollars to copy, costs 75 dollars to replace. I really could go on but I think based on the other crappy reviews this place speaks for itself. Talavera - Woke up to this every day for 6 months - Apartments Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

We just moved from out of state and were very tired. We signed a lease based upon the model unit. No bugs no bad smell not a visible problem. Two hours prior to moving into our unit we thought ok this works. Spoke to soon. The unit was infested with roaches, big ones, I had two guests over and a roach fell on top of her head. I have 2 little girls and that level of infestation is not safe and the health dept. should shut it down until it's taken care of. One hour after I called the leasing office. Once we communicated our state of gross emergency, the washer flooded the whole front area of the unit, and all they did is place a huge fan in the room and did a sloppy job cleaning, in fact one of the maintenance guys looked embarrassed for us. Ya know... For my first apartment it wasnt too BAD. But I know better now, and for $918.00 + per month in Summerlin I could have been living way nicer, and in a much newer place at that. It definitely is overpriced for what they offer tenants. Whats more, the community itself can be a little on the loud side. First month in there was a domestic dispute at 3:00 am with cops shouting from a mega-phone and a few gun shots going off. Our neighbors downstairs smoked crazy weed, and that smell of course can come through the vents. Most of the units have been renovated with new appliances and new paint but the 'old' underneath the new is very visable. They did a lousy job of making the updates. Its not the worst choice guys but if you can keep looking, keep looking, its that simple! For my roommate and I this place served its purpose. I am glad my 10-long-months here is up, and I wouldnt even think to renew the lease even if the rent was reduced by $300.00. The two bedroom should be no more than 800 max, and to think they offered to renew my roommate and I for $1200.00 per month. I knew they'd lost it then! The biggest reason I wouldnt come back would have to be due to the office personnel. There is always someone new, people quitting left and right. The staff they bring on is also very rude and short with its people and I've seen this occur on numerous occasions. They ran out two of their best but that's their bad :( The plus with this place is that its in a great area for shopping and dining! Freeway access bites but if your not in a hurry to be somewhere you're fine. Basil and Lime for Thai food is near, BJ's, PF Chang, and everything else good ol' Boca Park has to offer. Tip to Broadstone: Lower that rent, screen your new tenants thouroughly, and make the rent site more user friendly. Lastly, replace those crummy showers. I cringed everytime I took one simply because it looked old, no matter how much I kept it clean, and called maintainance to cover rusty spots up. For as much as you charged us, my bathroom could have been upgraded better for sure :- / Adios Broad! read more

My first year here at the Broadstone Talavera was pretty great, since then conditions here have changed. The change began after the new owners took over. Rent fees drastically change after a year- a couple hundred and don't even think about month to month they charge $600 more a month on top of your usual rent fee. Absolutely ridiculous, and for what? It's not like there is anything elaborate about this place, the jets in one of the hot tubs dont work, there are no weights in the weight room, the new residents are questionable and to make it sound even better they had 10/13 of their own residents cars towed to do maintenance in the parking lots- notice or not, there are other options. Plain disrespectful it cost $280 to get them out. Caring about our safety is the last thing they actually care about. The maintenance guys here are the only ones around who give a crap. All this place wants is your money- they have nothing to show for it. Truth is I miss the previous owners, they cared- they helped. read more

I cannot wait to get out of here! It has gone downhill, it was seemingly nice, quiet, all that at first. After I move in, suddenly really undesirable people start moving in, I don't feel safe. Other neighbors who were nice residents have broken their lease early due to the change in this property!! Not to mention there is one of the leasing agents in the office who is TOTALLY RUDE! Maintenance is a joke, they talk to you like you're an idiot and have been out here three times to fix a problem. I have a friend take a look at it, and sure enough they have rigged it instead of doing it the right way!!! The office isn't a help with that matter either. We have had a few incidents with police and a shooting, three families living in one unit who I believe are selling drugs (and according to other neighbors they ARE). And every time another "customer" of there's comes over they are parking in people's assigned parking spaces! Rent here is not cheap either, pent rent, deposits, water, trash it adds up. For what I'm paying for a one bedroom apartment, I could rent a house, but I thought living in such a nice area and complex it was worth it. Now I know better, there are much better places out there. The walls are super thin too! It's not very peaceful. I do not recommend this place to anyone. I've talked to other residents and have heard negative feedback as well. And our gym with weights one day gone the next and literally months to fix equipment.? Been there for 6 years promises us new carpet if we resigned while all new apartments are getting lament flooring, still I'm down new carpet right? No a new medal strip to hold the carpet down that was fraying!! After lease was signed!! I disagree with some of the previous reviews. Managagement has been excellent since I moved in six months ago. Pools are clean and pleasant - at least the one I go to by the front. Management is very responsible and pleasant, and maintenance is quite good. Quiet and peaceful. Everyone I've talked to here is happy with their units. Location is great. read more

**update** I have now been here for almost 9 months now, there are a few things that have been bothering me lately that I never really noticed in the beginning. -It's a hassle having to go out for work early in the morning when the exit, exits out to the busiest street which is fort apache. Theres always accidents near this major road. -It's a problem that these units don't come with ceiling fans or lights in the bedrooms, Its hard seeing at night, I turn my lamp, my bathroom, my closet doors and the living room & kitchen lights on and still so dark. -Appliances keep getting fixed then breaking, they are very old and need to be completely replaced with more modern appliances. - A lot of my neighbors are moving out because their rental rates went up. Honestly if your looking for convenience this place is for you. If you're looking for luxury I would suggest keep looking. This apartment needs a major upgrade. Its very outdated ... I wouldn't mind paying higher rent if the qualities were there. All in all it's an okay apartment. ****old review*** I actually really like this apartment, the maintenance people are quick management is great. I love my apartment so much, it's nearly the exact model Stacy showed me just without the fireplace. The patio is huge compared to your averaged small rectangular space most apts. in Vegas has. Its in the most convenient part of the Summerlin area. Downtown Summerlin is Two or three blocks away, Boca Park & Tivoli Village about two lights away, walking distance from Village square movie theater, a million restaurants, fitness places, crafts etc. I work in Spring Valley and it takes less than 10 minutes to get there. 215 is near by. To say the lease I moved here for the convenience it gets 5 stars just on that. Pros: 1. My boyfriend & I are currently living here and I would not highly recommend this place. It's overpriced and they charge you for silly things on top of your rent. We were told we only had to pay for gas and electric on top of rent and yet our statement charges us for all utilities. We've tried to fix it & they supposedly can't. Anyways, if your looking for a more fixed rent...go somewhere else. This place is nice, that's why they get one star, but it's not worth it. We will be looking for a new place when the lease is over. Maintenance people are very kind...if you can get them to your door! It took maintenance more than a week to fix our dryer. And I'm currently reading about people getting charged for light bulbs! I hope not because we just had one replaced in the kitchen. I will update you guys if I see it on the statement. The pool area is nice and relaxing. Their master key is shitty. We've changed out 2x and yet it still doesn't open much but the exit and pool area. After being here for 9 months, I will never recommend this complex to anyone. I can never call and talk to someone the same day. They respond back days later over email and even said how they were told not to reply quick so residents don't rely on that. The workers that actually helped us when we had issues are all no longer here. Even when I go to get packages from the office, I tell them I have a lot of packages but they never grab them all. I always have to go back once as I've opened and seen I don't have everything. When I go back telling them I have more they give me attitude for making them look again. It's happened every single time I've had more than 2 packages. One package they told me to dispute delivery with the seller and then they found it a week later crushed and shoved in the back of their package closet. When my dryer caught on fire they replaced it immediately but didn't hook the new dryer up correctly so I had three dryers before I had a working one. When my washer flooded they didn't answer my calls, emails or contact form for almost 4 days. When they finally answered I was told it was my fault for having too much in the washer, which was one bed sheet. I hate ordering anything, calling maintenance or the office for any reason. I just moved out here from California and what I love most is that it's so peaceful, relaxing, has beautiful pools & trails but my most favorite is all the green landscaping.! I absolutely love it! I love living here. Sure there are newer apartments in the area but Broadstone Talavera has a nice feeling. The apartments are well appointed and if you have any issued maintenance is there almost instantly. Very impressive. Since Nikki has become the manager of this property it has improved tremendously. She is on a mission and she is doing a fantastic job. Sure...in any apartment complex there are going to be issues here and there with the tenants but they do have a very good security team you can call and they will assist you if your being disturbed in any way. I've lived here since 2001 and have, for the most part, always loved it here. The physical setting (trees, bushes, and landscaping in general) are great and well-maintained. I've been blessed with good and quiet neighbors over all these years. The quality of local management has been up and down over these past 14 years. I moved here in June of 2012 and signed a 1 year lease. At first I was dismayed to find changes in the office staff, but I soon learned that this was a good thing. Although they were nice for the most part, they didn't care too much about the screening process and what happened on the property. The manager had her door shut most of the time and was rarely available to speak to or even return phone calls. The new staff definitely is on it! Recently someone had been parking in my spot when I got home from work at 9am. This is really upsetting because by this time I'm dead tired! I called the office and they said they would tag the car. I'm not sure what happened, but I never had that problem again! One thing that bothered me was when I got a letter regarding a trash violation. I had left my garbage by the door as I got ready to head out for the day. Apparently someone had taken a picture and sent it in, because when I went down to fight it they showed me the picture with my trash next to my apartment number. I was told if this happens again (even if my trash misses the dumpster) I will get a $50 fine! I just got a letter for a lease renewal and took all of this into consideration. My pet rent is going from $20/mo to $25/mo. I pay $899 (before water, sewer garbage) for a huge 2 bedroom and my rent will not be increased. I did renew my lease for 13 months and was given an incentive for doing it early. When I weighed out the positives and negatives I decided I'd rather live somewhere with a responsive staff that actually addresses my issues than somewhere where it's acceptable to leave your trash out. read more

We've only been here for a couple of weeks, but this is a beautiful community and we've been very pleased with the responsiveness of the friendly office staff and friendly maintenance staff. The grounds are very well kept including all of the grass, mature trees, walking paths, and spacious parking lots. The gym is beautiful and well maintained, and the multiple pools and hot tubs ensure a short walk no matter where in the community you reside. Friends stopped by to help me unpack -- they loved the tranquil setting and the amount of space in my 2-story unit. The apartment has large windows, A LOT of storage space, and beautiful tranquil views. The only reason we did not award the full five stars was due to a mix-up at move in, which the staff resolved in a timely manner. I would recommend Broadstone Talavera for anyone who wants to live in a quaint, safe community. read more
