I got an iced vanilla cinnamon latte. The people working were patient and friendly. The space was beautiful and luckily there was parallel parking across the street. I hate paying for parking but what can you do? The latte just wasn't a for me and there were few options for flavors but I drank it all. :)

Am I in Pasadena, California? This spot screams SoCal!! It is now my #1 favorite coffee place in Tucson. It's located in a lovely neighborhood with lush trees and gorgeous homes. The interior vibes is very L.A. My son ordered the Shaken Hojicha and the La Rosa (peanut & honey) latte caught my eye. OMG there were peanut butter bits in the drink. So sipping yummy! The baristas here ROCK!! I can never say no to a jalapeno & cheddar scone. It has a nice kick to it and goes perfectly with your cup of joe. You know the coffee here is excellent when their hours are 6:30 to 11:30am Wed-Sun. (Closed Mondays & Tuesdays).

Great coffee shop in downtown! A little off the beaten path. In a nice quiet part of town. Really good drinks and awesome outdoor space! With tons of seating options to your liking. I ordered an orange mocha chilpetin oatmilk ice latte & it was delicious. Would recommend!

A cute and very unique coffee shop in the heat of downtown directly across the children's museum. The owners are super friendly and welcoming. There is some seating inside but it's more on the smaller side. They do offer some additional seating outside which is a cute patio area with lots of shade. The prices are fair and the coffee taste amazing. I tried the vanilla oatmilk latte and it was pretty tasty.

I walked in with my dog Zana, a friendly white GSD. I ordered a simple cappuccino which I flavored with their vanilla sugar. It came in an 8-ounce paper cup. Coffee was a mild roast without bitterness. We sat inside, relaxing to indie music, although I could have sat outside with the 75F temperature as outdoor seating is spacious and shaded. Service was fast and very friendly. Wifi is provided by the bar next door. Simply ask for the password.

Came for coffee at 7:30 am when they opened. A small coffee counter with seating. The two baristas were awesome. A bright and airy interior with a shared courtyard to sit outside. A modest curated menu and a pastry or two available. I ordered lemonade and my hubby one of their signature drinks the la Rosa; a peanut drink, to which espresso is added. I love the space and the people. I recommend giving it a try.

Service here is great! The two gentleman working here this morning were absolutely wonderful to chat with and even though they couldn't make my usual trendy white mocha they did talk me into a La Rosa Latte which is Espresso, Sweet Peanuts, and Honey, and it was so delicious. The atmosphere was adorable with a large outdoor patio space. Not very crowded at all. Drink choices were somewhat limited. A few food items were available, but I would have appreciated more. The empanada would have also tasted better if it was warmed up. Warning: the coffee is STRONG.

This was such a lovely spot and experience! We went for a Sunday morning coffee and were warmly greeted with quick service and delicious lattes. The espresso is roasty and flavorful and the folks working were notably kind and attentive. The atmosphere is also really calm and inviting. We don't usually stay to drink our coffee in the cafe, but felt compelled to stay awhile and enjoy the calm vibes here. We'll definitely be back and are excited to support this coffee shop!

Talega has been highly recommended, and I can see why--it's a lovely spot with a friendly staff and a nice atmosphere, perfect for grabbing a quick coffee or sitting down to chat. However, I did find the seating to be a bit uncomfortable, and the coffee flavor didn't quite meet my expectations considering the price. Still, it's a decent place to stop by if you're in the area but I'm not considering in returning.

So excited for their soft opening! Thanks to the friendly environment, our 8 month old got to have his first coffee shop experience at @talegacoffeeco . Best Chai we have ever had, hands down. We visited in January and we're greeted by a super friendly guy who took our order and bagged up some beans from the back so we could use it in our home espresso machine. Till this day we still talk about how good the coffee is. The depth of flavor in their espresso is still unmatched from anyone near us in Southern California. I wish there was a site we could mail order some beans! The space is small but had a good, usable layout. There is also outdoor seating and parking is super easy. We will be back next year for some more beans. read more

I'm so glad my partner and I stumbled upon Talega during our one-night stay in Tucson. The space was really charming, and I thought it so touching that the baristas referred to every customer by name. I had a pear-rosemary latte that was just delicious, and I really appreciated that the folks there didn't blink an eye when I asked mine to be poured with a bit less milk than usual. (You'd be surprised at how many times I've struggled to receive this!) All in all, I can't wait to visit Talega next time we're in Tucson! Thanks guys! read more

By far the best coffee in Tucson. Located in a quiet area of the historic downtown. The owner/barista was so knowledgeable. We went back two days in a row while visiting the city. The coffee was so good on our last visit that I had to go back for one more for the road. I wish they had a sister shop in my town. Thanks again Boys read more

I visited Talega for the first time last weekend and I can't wait to go back! The coffee is truly 10/10 - even the decaf which can be really difficult to find these days! The owners are super kind and inviting, and very knowledgeable about coffee. I am so thankful to have another great local coffee shop in Tucson and I am excited to see them thrive. read more

The matcha was amazing! Such a warm matcha latte on a cold night. The service was amazing. I loved that my barista suggested that I add vanilla to my matcha to make it a bit sweeter because it tended to be more earthy without a flavor. Stayed in there until they closed and didn't feel pressure to leave, instead, both guys at the register were very nice and attentive at all times. Ambiance is lovely, they've got such a comfy couch and the whole vibe is amazing! 10/10. read more

GREAT coffee, super nice employees. I got a bunch of things that were super unique. A maiz sweet corn drink that was delicious and that I'll add a shot of espresso to next time. A coffee drink with peanuts in it (what?!) that was sweet and delicious. And a latte with homemade piloncillo syrup. And beans to go! Love the location and will be back! read more

All 4 of us have extensive experience in the hospitality industry and appreciate the stresses. Since we are unfailingly friendly customers, as so many servers are, & because there were only 6 other customers at your coffee shop at the time, sharing our experience is warranted. We visited the Main Gate shop just after noon on Saturday, 4/18. The barista was wearing a cap & O'Neill-branded t-shirt; he has a salt & pepper beard. Requesting my cappuccino in a ceramic cup, he stated, with obvious exasperation, "You can just say 'for here'." He was also visibly irritated when we requested 3 Dirty Chais of various sizes & shot strength, as if this request was overly complicated. We would have ordered food, but he was so unwelcoming we did not. Nor did we linger. We have visited this location other times and have only been treated warmly. Clearly this barista does not represent the customer service your employees normally provide. You can train people to make a good coffee. Training them to be pleasant is more complicated & best documented. Hence, this review. An unpleasant experience like this has no place in Tucson. It's not who we are & it's not who you are either, I know. We hope this gentleman finds another line of work soon

The interior invites you to take a picture, the music is loud, it just appears to be catered to a very particular demographic. Evidently, that is not me, and that's okay! I ordered the banana cream matcha latte at recommendation from someone who's visited before with the matcha tiramisu. In the latte, I was hoping for a more flavorful banana cream. It had a nice finish and was very smooth, but I wouldn't have been able to guess it being flavored if I hadn't known. Both items were made from high quality matcha, so expect the steep price tag associated. Combined with the baristas being unable to differentiate between drink orders at the end of their bar, I wasn't really amazed given the reputation Brucha has. Maybe I didn't even receive my drink, and the above is all unfounded, but I won't be figuring that out anytime soon.

At Crema, they use one big ice cube that resembles one found in a whiskey on the rocks. A large part of me thinks that the finished product can be attributed to the fact that virtually nothing is watered down. The barista was incredibly kind and inviting from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. Because of this, I can get past the sparse seating options that made it feel a little hollow. There weren't a ton of people seated, but it seemed like a good, quiet place to work. More people need to know about this tucked away little place.

The one large ice cube is lovely for keeping the drink not watery, but it doesn't make your drink feel COLD cold if that's something you prefer. My cube lasted an hour in their glass cup, and the drink tasted great and flavorful even when it was gone. No condensation worries at all. Straws are nice and sturdy too! Would come back again. (:

Unfortunately, the service felt a bit cold, no one acknowledged me, and the staff didn't seem very welcoming or engaged. I ordered an iced matcha latte, which came unsweetened. No one mentioned that ahead of time or pointed out where the sweeteners were, so I had to look around for them myself. The matcha had a nice flavor, but the texture was a bit grainy, suggesting it might not be the highest quality. Also, the bathrooms are located all the way in the back, and there isn't enough signage to guide you there easily. Overall, it has a lot of charm and a great location, but the customer experience could definitely be improved.
