Quaint little espresso shop in downtown Boone. We stopped in because of the name...Talia. A favorite of mine. The barista greets everyone as they arrive, and asked what fun things they did today. We decided to get some coffee and pastries at Talia on our way out of town. We loved the decor, and the espresso is extremely smooth. They have a wonderful Italian espresso machine, and we could taste the quality of the brewing process. Talia offers various types of milk (whole, 2%, skim, almond, macadamia, coconut, half and half). We loved the pastries that we tried - a coffee cake muffin and cheese Danish. Definitely check it out if you'd like a quick breakfast on the go that is also delicious and special. read more

In town for Family Weekend at APP State & this is my sons favorite coffee spot. So many options, I couldn't take it all in. I was trying to hurry due to the line behind me. The Employee was super nice & wasn't rushing anyone. I'd love to come back on a regular weekend to take in their options. I got an iced coffee due to the heat outside. At those "other" places I always have to order an extra shot due to I like my coffee darker. I didn't have to do that here. My drink was rich & flavorful. The Barista was hustling to get everyones order done but gave everyone a smile when she handed them their drink. Awesome locally owned shop! I can't wait to go back. read more

A great little coffee shop in central Boone! I stopped by a couple days ago, and got a mango peach smoothie and a brownie, while my friend got a frappuccino. We were both favorably impressed and would go back if we were in the area again. Service was also good, both fairly quick and friendly. It is quite small, with very limited indoor seating, so it's mostly a to-go place. read more

Talia's espresso is a cute little coffee shop in Boone full of cute decor, fun drinks, and EXTREME COVID CONCERNS. The cashier had the mask not covering her nose which made me uncomfortable and seemed to be dangerous considering the global pandemic. Then as I waited for my drinks to be prepared (rather slowly) a completely mask-less employee began moving mysterious boxes and supplies all around the store. I thought it was pretty clear how uncomfortable their actions were making me, but they continued their dangerous actions. Of the three employees only the barista was properly wearing a mask (so she gets 5 stars) the mask less employee once finished moving boxes just stood by counter almost as if he didn't even realize he was doing wrong. Talia's was open on Sunday, while other coffee shops were closed. We stopped by there to get coffee and a pastry, and we were delighted to find a cute little cafe with a nice selection of drinks. We got Americanos, which had the perfect amount of cream and were a drinkable temperature. Then we got a coffee cake muffin, recommended by the barista. There are so many delicious drink options as well as baked goods and the barista behind the counter was so kind and helped us all pick drinks.
