I ordered the blackberry lavender latte coming through town headed to Boone-- OMG it was AMAZING!!! I even had a friend in the car with us who doesn't prefer lavender say she wished she had ordered it because it was so good!! I will definitely be coming back. So many choices! Cute logo too :)

Stopped in on our way home from Boone and I can see this little spot becoming a staple on our drive to and from Boone. Don't miss it because it's not big but their drinks sure do pack a punch. I grabbed the London fog and I'll have to grab an espresso next time because I'm sure it's just as delicious.

Talia is definitely one of my favorite places in town to eat. The atmosphere is very relaxing and inviting and the people are very nice and customer service oriented. The food and drinks are fantastic. Would 10/10 recommend.

I've been to the drive thru location a couple of times and had great experiences other than the levels of sweetness in their drinks, but the location on Main St. may have put a bad taste in my mouth for Talia Espresso. First of all, staff were standoffish/very low energy, cutting us off when asking questions about the very very extensive menu. So, okay fine, moving on... I have worked as a barista in the past so maybe my expectations for coffee shops is higher than others, but even when I've asked for drinks to be made less sweet/no toppings/no whipped cream, they always come out still tasting insanely sweet. If you like dessert-in-a-cup styled drinks, this is your place! This is the first time I've gotten food here and tbh I would pass on getting breakfast here if I were to go again. The everything toast was okay, but very very over seasoned and salty so I couldn't even finish it, and my husband got an omelette with some veggies and turkey added. Turkey was cold and the veggies were raw and to be honest, when I'm paying $40 at a coffee shop, I expect to be able to at least stomach the food and drinks I'm getting. Other than the consumables, the interior is very cute and there's many seating options available. read more

I moved to the area last year from a major city. I've tried every local coffee shop in Wilkes County & Elkin. I refuse to patron Starbucks. Talia is the best coffee I've ever had. I love the large selection of specialty drinks. Everyone who works at each location is very friendly. read more

Literally my favorite coffee shop ever. I only ever drink coffee from here. I truly have nothing negative to say about it. The coffee is great and I love both drive-in locations as well. I've never had a bad experience with Talia's. The aesthetic and ambiance are perfect. It's a great spot to study or just chitchat with friends. I love the small town feel of Talia's but part of me wants it to become a chain coffee shop so I can have this coffee anywhere, haha. I've been here many times and have never met friendlier staff than the ones that work at Talia locations. They all deserve a raise. All my friends and family love Talia's too because of how much I rave about it. 10/10 read more

We were so surprised to read all the good reviews. A friend and I met in North Wilkes for lunch and decided to go to Talia's. I ordered the quiche, which was, and I wish I had a thesaurus handy for this....nasty. They took this tiny round disc out of the refrigerator and warmed it up. Quiches are so easy to make and I don't know why the owner would cheap out and offer such a horrible item. They did replace it, but with only 1/2 of a sandwich. This place is fine for coffee, but highly overrated for food. We're meeting at other area restaurants now. read more

Charming and delicious. French bistro meets the American South. Coffee was wonderful and the flavors were well-balanced. I had a pita filled with their house made hummus and fresh veggies - really healthy and delicious. The other people in my party had chicken salad croissants and loved them. You can't ask for a better local coffee shop! The coffee is consistently good and they use healthier ingredients than Starbucks. TIP: Whip cream is dairy-free and they carry Milkadamia milk. Also, they have pastries, breakfast and lunch menu. Recently found out they switched from Udi's gluten-free bread to making it homemade. I had to try it! I ordered a turkey sandwich (comes with Cape Cod chips and a pickle). It was delicious! Usually they have gluten free desserts but I would call ahead. This place is trendy, friendly, and you can spend hours in this aesthetically pleasing coffee shops. There is plenty of room for seating with many friends or studying/working alone. read more

We were camping in the area and stopped in because we do not like supporting Starbucks and would rather help locals flourish... what a wonderful experience! The woman at the window was very very nice and didn't make us feel rushed and also helped in our decision. When we got our coffees it was amazing! I can venture to say it was the best I have had in a long time. I ordered the a pumpkin spice latte and the butter brew and hot chocolate... the pumpkin spice was so tasty and felt like fall. It wasn't syrupy like SB... if you want a great change from the corporate take over of our morning cup of Joe- TALIA is a delicious choice!!! read more

Every time the hubs and I are visiting North Wilkesboro, we make a point to swing by Talia- whether it's here or the drive-thru location. Their Caramel Veninati is my absolute favorite drink; so smooth and flavorful. I highly recommend the chicken salad croissant for lunch; hubs loves the Mediterranean pita. Everything is prepared in-house and is excellent. What really makes this place stand out is the relaxed atmosphere. You can work from here, meet up for a latte with friends or just strike up a meaningful conversation with the staff. If you're around, make a point to stop by. You won't regret it! read more

Who doesn't love quality coffee? I sure do, would pick Talias over Starbucks every single day of the week. The Milky Way Mocha is my go to, iced of course. You don't regret trying it. Literal perfection and if you've ever been blessed enough to meet the owners, you won't be disappointed. It's refreshing to go to a small business and they remember your name or other details about you not because you're a frequent flier but because they care about their customers. 10/10 recommend to anyone. read more

Established in 2005.

Our business started with a dream for great Espresso. Our initial plan was espresso/coffee and fresh pastries. This last only 2 days, as people wanted lunch, so we built our menu on homemade foods that we made at home while our family was growing. This includes quiche, chicken salad croissants, all salad dressings made with fresh ingredients, soups, paninin's, spanikopita, desserts, gluten free options, and farm to table when available but always homemade.

Meet the Business Owner: Jim and Kathy Kozak K.

Jim and Kathy Kozak opened Talia Espresso Main St. in 2005 wanting to bring the best espresso, coffee and latte making to the region. Along with excellent coffee came a bistro style coffee shop including fresh homemade croissants, quiche, spanikopita, chicken salad, homemade salad dressings, bread and more. There eclectic variety of foods and creative drinks along with seasonal farm to table and gluten free options have given then the 2015 top 10 Coffeeshops in North Carolina. Stop by their Main St. store or their Talia Espresso Drive Thru location at 1921 Hwy. 421 in Wilkesboro. New in 2015 in the lobby of Wilkes Regional Medical Center is our mobile kiosk for lattes, cappuccinos and pastries.

You have to realize that Sparta is a small town, and this is a small town restaurant. Everyone here is local, and there aren't many people. While yes the service was on the slower side, they do take care of you. I literally saw a server help a mother warm up her baby bottle to feed her baby. They have open mic karaoke. I really liked that people from various tables were all going up taking turns singing. Looks like this town the folks are fun, and not at all shy. Plus its is Family friendly. If you don't like loud music and fun, well then avoid this place. I had fun eating, and singing. This place gets a 4, because the experience was fun. It wasn't a perfect 5, only due to the pizza dough and the slower service. Other than that, if I ever come back to Sparta, I will be stopping by for a bite.

It was pretty decent. Not especially memorable, but there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. The inside was a little smoky from the fryer or grill top, so we decided to sit outside. Even though it was warm, it turned out to be a pretty decent day for it. The staff was friendly, including to our dog, which is always a plus. Overall, it was cheap, filling, and perfectly fine for what it is. We would go back. Also, we didn't even ask for extra fries, but the waitress brought us extra fries because she thought there was not enough served with our burger! To those about to nosh, we salute you.

We will 100% be back whenever we're in the area!! The menu is huge, there are so many things I'd love to try!

This pizza joint in Lansing North Carolina has been out of business since hurricane Helene devastated the area about a year and a half ago and we have been more than patiently waiting for it to reopen. It finally did and as luck would have it we were in the area this weekend and we're delighted to be able to enjoy not one but two pizzas. This is easily the best pizza joint in all of Ashe county and you would have to travel a ways to find better Pizza. Add that to the heartwarming story of how they struggled since Helene and finally reopened and this is just a place that if you're anywhere near this area you must come and get a pizza. Now I will say they're still not at full operation and you should be prepared to wait but as luck would have it there are some amazing shops that we love in the area there's an amazing supermarket and you can go next door and enjoy some coffee or tea or you can head to Molly chompers and get some hard cider but it'll be worth the wait for your pizzas. We had the chicken dinner pizza and the barbecue chicken pizza and the flavor of both was just extraordinary the only thing I wish is that the crust were a little crispier but taste is way more important to me. If you're ever in the West Jefferson area or even the Boone area it will be well worth your time to travel to this awesome little city and spend some local dollars and help out the economy this is one of those mountain communities that just doesn't know how to say give up.

We also got a salad with ranch they said was homemade. Each food item was excellent. I can honestly say each of the pizzas was one of the best we've had and soooo tasty... and we've had a lot of pizza. :-) The salad was plentiful and the Ranch was very tasty as well. The staff of the restaurant was also very friendly. I recommend this place for anyone looking for a great tasting pizza!

Everything is reasonably priced and there are quite a few different items that you can order from. This is not a sit-down restaurant, however, it is more pickup and take somewhere to enjoy the outdoors or just to bring home cuz you're working on projects or just wanting to relax. I absolutely love all the artwork that is always on the building and always decorated with lights and a fun vibe! We will always get this food anytime we come to the mountains no matter what's happening! 10 out of 10. Highly recommend!

Amazing interior design and food - this is one of my favorite stops when I am in The Brushy Mountains. I really appreciate the ethnic emphasis with such items as Spanakopita and gyros, which are difficult, if not impossible to find in the area. read more
