Arrived at 7:12am with one car ahead of us. Order was taken by a courteous young lady at 7:14. Got two piping hot drinks at 7:17. For needing some good coffee for the road quick this fit the bill. Not the quickest experience for a drive-thru setup but fortunately we were not in a huge hurry. I always expect things to be a bit slowed down when we come to visit this area. The coffee wasn't so great, which was disappointing. Coffee snob hubby also concurred. The pastries were good and smoothie wasn't bad either. We had a local fave coffee spot when we visit Wilkes but lately that place hasn't been making the same great coffee we are accustomed to. So seeing as how this place is so popular but underwhelming as far as coffee, we will have to keep looking and hoping more options arise in the future. read more

For a drive thru coffee place, they're not particular quick compared to other options nearby. The coffee drinks are fine, but despite trying various ones, they seem to taste very similar and are not particularly distinct in flavor. The cost is also more expensive than other options nearby. The staff are fine and helpful but work slowly. There is not sitting area to drink the beverages, parking area, or bathrooms etc., it is a drive thru place only with two windows and a small drive thru area. read more

The coffee here is just as good as it is at the main store. I make it a point to stop here. The iced coffee is top-notch. The baristas are also great and even compliment your sweater! Little things like that make the difference. read more

Amazing patient customer service, accurate, quick orders, and excellent selection of coffee and teas. They have numerous drink options and some food options to choose from. I am not a huge fan of the chicken salad croissant but the earl grey tea, black coffee, and German Chocolate Mocha are delicious! Since it is a drive-thru it is very convenient. I have to say this is my favorite place to go when I want caffeine or need a quick snack. They have about 50 drinks that can be served iced, hot, or blended and a nice collection of baked goods. But I have to say that my personal favorite is the Trooper Smoothie. It is like a mini meal of peanut butter, banana, and raw protein all blended up into a delicious and filling refreshment. Perfect for a light lunch or after a workout. They also have candy bar lattes (milky way, snickers, ect...) and classic espresso. All in all I have yet to dislike anything I have tried. Chance in a lifetime to find this little gem. Very impressed with the coffee drinks and how accurate the staff make the drinks. Today while passing through I had a strawberry and creme frozen drink and my daughter had a mcberry espresso frozen drink. Stopped in a few times now and tried two flavored hot espresso drinks and a frappe. Nice selection of flavors and drinks, extremely convenient and some of the best coffee I've had! The espresso is rich without tasting bitter or burnt. A new favorite. Accepts cards but cash is better to help them avoid a charge fee (just FYI!). Also have scones and muffins and danish! read more

Earlier this year I stopped at Talia Espresso Drive Thru on my way to Boone. The first thing that impressed me was the attitude and friendliness of the Barista. His name was Markus. Second the Barista impressed me with his coffee knowledge and helped me choose a drink I had not tried before The Cup of Sweetness. And last but not least the drinks we had were no less than top quality specialty Espresso- Far exceeding my expectations for Drive-Thru brews. It is hard enough to find espresso that is not burnt and well balanced from a cafe, but having it available at Drive-Thru is very impressive. read more
