I've visited a different talking taco in a different area, and had a great time, so I had high expectations to visit this one which was near my neighborhood. I do love the theme and the vibes. I wish the server at the counter would have been a little more helpful when I had questions about the food. I ended up ordering a consomme thinking it was a soup. When it's actually like a dipping broth. Not very enjoyable on its own. My son ordered a quesabirria- quesadilla birria filled, and he did enjoy it very much. My gf and I tried this place out sight unseen. I usually read reviews of new places, big mistake! I hate venues where you're forced to look at some kiosk and it's kind of a mess. Everything was kind of expensive, but it's 2026 so go figure. The music was way too loud, employees were staring at us the whole time, and none of our drinks were refillable considering we paid $6 each for them. My gf got the Bang! Bang! Shrimp Tacos minus the spicy mayo. Well, turns out there's no other sauce option as a sub and you don't get anything else with your three sad tacos. Oh, and the shrimp was breaded and kinda dry. I was pretty bummed that we had spent soo much money and I opted to get a corn elote bowl. For almost $10 I should have gotten more. It was ok, like it was good but not enough for the price. Other locations aren't bad, but this one... don't waste your time. Make the drive to another one. Haven't wrote a review in years, but after 40 minutes waiting for 1 burrito this place is just sad. After 40 minutes and watching people who walked in 20 minutes after us get their food before us, we finally got it and of course... it was wrong I went to the front counter to show them what I ordered and wasn't this. I wanted a chicken and shrimp burrito with NO takis... they put takis, and no shrimp lol. I showed the cashier and opened up the burrito to show there was no shrimp and the cashier agreed, but The cook decided to argue with me and tell me I was the one who was wrong.. Who does that? Lol put a scoop of shrimp and move along with your day. Instead I was told my burrito got "more shrimp" than she was supposed to give, which the cashier even said she was wrong and there was no shrimp in it. But the cook made sure to tell me I was still wrong, and that she was lead chef. Thanks for letting me know you are able to lead in sucking at your job? This is a pretty cool establishment. The vibe inside was nice and relaxed. I had never been here before so it was my first time. My son had picked it out and so I said hey why not let's go. I was very pleasantly surprised with how wonderful the food was considering it's kind of like fast food in a way. It does not taste that way. It taste homemade it tastes awesome! After a day in the parks we wanted something a little different and decided to drive out of our way to try a place that we saw on TT. The good: Ordering on the kiosk was super easy and the staff members were helpful when you had a question, knowledgeable about the menu. The homemade beverages were so good!! The Bad: no working bathroom - we were directed to use the ones at the store next door. Both the guacamole and pico lacked salt. I've tried this franchise at the lake Nona location and glad they brought one closer. Couple of us went out to grab a quick bite and it did not disappoint! My favorite was the shrimp taco out of the trio I ordered. The sauce , sweetness, and overall texture of it was amazing and just paired with the mango lemonade so well. First time I had the tacos I wasn't a fan, but decided to give it another go at another location and I'm really glad I did. Service was fast and environment was relaxing. The rice bowl it's soooooo good!! I decided to try the steak bowl and it was very fresh! The strawberry lemonade was very good as well and refreshing. The cilantro sauce on top is yumm. The service was great there is not much interaction since you order through a device but the person handling the food was very nice and polite. The ambiance is very good. Was doing some shopping at the loop area and stopped for a quick bite. Very nicely decorated inside. When you walk in you order thru a kiosk, same their other locations. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Ordered the taco bowl and it was a good portion. It was filled with rice, beans, protein choice which I picked steak and the salad on top which was a great dressing wish it was more the dressing. Food was extremely mid at best. Ordered the mahi mahi tacos, the fish was so dry and the tortillas were cold and hard. They also don't come with anything for $15. My husband ordered the chicken rice bowl and it was average. The guac tasted like the fake premade stuff. The floors were slippery due to the grease. Been here a couple of times now and once in the Lake Nona location and haven't been disappointed. As soon as you go in the staff is friendly, there's music playing and everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. This time around I tried the birria burrito and also the steak rice bowl. The burrito was stuffed and very saucy and delicious. It comes with chips and the choices for salsa there are pretty good. The bowl was very big and also stuffed, definitely recommend it. To finish,tried the horchata and it's my favorite there. The food came out pretty quick even though it was busy and the staff very attentive and ready to help. Super disappointing first experience here. I was super excited to try this new taco spot so we ordered online for pickup around 9:30. The confirmation told us our food would be ready at 10:00 so we got there then and our food wasn't ready. They told us they have an hour to fulfill the order from the time it's placed and they didn't start working on it until I got there. I sat there for about 30 minutes to find out they have my order to someone else. They had to completely remake my order and I ended up waiting 45 minutes until I finally received my food. They don't follow the special directions or offer any condolences for my time wasted. The food was good (but cold), but this experience has unfortunately turned me too from wanting to go back. read more

Service was horrible I ordered dine in at 745 pm and food didn't come out til 840, now eating at 952pm bc I had to take out instead of eating in. The worst Birria I ever had, the meat is tough and the tortillas are hard as a rock and I can barely chew through them. How can they also be greasy and hard, and you can taste that the grease is old as well?? They give you 3 but I could barely get through the 2nd one bc of how hard they were. Also the churros's tasted like tortillas so I think they fry in same grease which would be strange to do. The whole experience was just terrible and paying over $50 for food you can barely eat in this economy is hard to stomach. Needless to say I definitely won't be going back. My first Birria since moving here from South Florida and it was just horrible so save your money. I ate Birria almost everyday on my 2 week vacation to Vegas and San Diego and believe me this place not worth your hard earned money or time wasted. read more

If someone were to ask me if our area needed another taco joint, I would have said no. But maaaan am I glad no one asked me. We absolutely love Talkin' Tacos and it's officially my houses go-to for tacos/texmex. At this point we've tried everything on their menu, and the only input I feel that's worth sharing is that due to the juiciness, the birria grilled cheese and quesadillas are best ordered and eaten in the restaurant. Otherwise? Eat it all. The tacos, the mac, the bowls- all delicious. Definitely make sure if you're going to order delivery that you order their app to earn points and avoid the insane mark-ups on the items (about $4 increase per entree). read more

I'm sorry but for the amount of food you get, it's not worth the price at all. Like for a 20 dollar burrito I expect it to be FILLED or long, disappointed to say it was neither. Took some time but got our tacos (not all at once if that's important to you ) the meat for the taco was tasting a little over done and dry the consume was a very brown color and had a deep flavor ( not very salty) I prefer a red colored consume with more salt but over all it was all fine, not super impressed for the price. My husbands order came slightly incorrect but he just removed the added ingredients. You may like it but it's just didn't hit for me . Atmosphere was clean enough staff looked really young , the flashy lights might be an overcompensation but good if you're a teen who is looking for cool pics to post. read more
