Nice welcome. The ladies are friendly and nice people. Although went for lunch, ordered Medianoche (no Medianoche bread, but Sobao), and breakfast sandwiches; both were OK at most. We just moved here from Miami, and this is not Cuban food; no Tamal en Cazuela, no Vaca Frita, no Black Beans... The food seems good but more like Dominican & Puerto Rican, which are excellent menus, but not Cuban.

This cuban spot I pass by everyday going to work. They are open at 6am serving breakfast and lunch til 3pm. Seeing those kind of hours it says alot of the establishment. They only cook enough for those hours. Stopped by this morning on my way to work and they already had empanadas and guava pastries out along with fritters. The lady with the panini press already was toasting breakfast sandwiches. Tons of cuban coffee was being served as well. This place got busy after 5 mins of being inside deciding what I want. I ended up ordering the cuban sandwich which costs nearly $9 with tax. I noticed there were flys swarming the hot food area which was a turn off because they were actually landing on the foods such as the pastries. The wait for sandwiches was quite sometime. They are freshly made to order. As I got my order and drove off I tasted the sandwich. Whoa. It was delicious! The bread and pernil was tender soft and pernil was seasoned well. I would def come back again but for the $9 price I expected a longer thicker sandwich but it was delicious nonetheless. The staff here speak barely english just FYI. I want to try the Tamal and the hot foods here next time around as well.

By for the best Cuban sandwich ever had!

By far the best Cuban sandwich I've had and the tres leche cake was really good too! I would definitely go back!

Restaurant is a big word for this place, it's just a neighborhood place for locals to eat if in a rush. The food look fresh at least but not greatly elaborated (my rice was almost uncooked). Just lower ur expectations and u gonna be ok...I had the curiosity to go, don't be like me. It's humble but clean, assistants are friendly, I think they are honest, they are not pretending to be more than what they are...my two stars are not a negative review, I think that's a fair level.

It was my last day in Orlando on vacation and I really wanted to get some Cuban food before leaving. Let me tell you, this did not disappoint! I got the pernil, arroz blanco con habichuelos and maduros. My sister got the yellow rice with ribs and maduros. Y'all, I almost cried after the first bite. I'm from Texas so there's veeeeeery little, if any, authentic Cuban food and I haven't had any since moving to Texas 2 years ago. The pernil was juicy and seasoned, the ribs were falling off the bones. I blinked and half the plate was gone. The best part was the WHOLE meal plus a drink was less than $10. Can I pick up the whole place and drop it in Austin please?

I will say that the shakes and a decent size and could be shared with a friend or family member as they are exploding with sweetness. I really enjoyed the Hot Fudge Nachos as it was a fun spin on a hot fudge sundae. This is definitely an experience I recommend! There is plenty of indoor seating, two large sinks in the back of the dining room to wash out your souvenir mason jars, colorful murals on the walls, friendly and welcoming staff. Menu board, handheld menus and a photo menu book to look at to help you make your decision. You do t have to get the souvenir mason jars with your shakes but they are cute if you want them.

Seriously, you can save all your other options for a rainy day. This is the place for any occasion, date, family gathering, or plain ol' get together with friends to enjoy sweets with great company. Located off South Apopka Vineland Road on the Northbound side, Mango Mango is situated in a relatively new development and plaza (if you look at the satelite imagery from Google maps, it will still show undeveloped land as of June 2026). It's less than a 10 minute drive from the Disney Springs property, and about an 18 minute drive from Old Town/Fun Spot which is where we were staying for this particular trip coming from Tampa. As you arrive, you will find a spacious lot, however the actual parking spaces do appear limited (something to consider if you decide to have a large reunion here). Upon entering, you will find a very clean storefront and reception. Overall the store maintains a very neat and tidy appearance that is very welcoming and neutral when it comes to the varying demographics of customers. While we have been to Mango Mango before in a New Jersey location, this location provides a bit of table service (which we have not experienced prior) for dine-in which makes it a bit more intimate. The menu offers plentiful choices of sweets - from bowls with fresh fruits and ice cream, to your specialty drinks including boba. To call Mango Mango a boba shop would do it injustice, as this place truly shines as a hollistic dessert spot. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the selections. Each dish/drink is perfectly made to their own specifications. The best part is that none are overly sweet, which I feel is a crutch that most dessert spots experience. Highly recommend the mixed fresh fruit with sago and jelly! Wish this was in Tampa because this would give our usual boba spot a run for their money. This is a must have if you're in the area, so treat yourself after long hot day at the parks at Mango Mango!

After finally trying them...I'd say they're absolutely worth the wait. Luckily, we stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon and only waited about five minutes. It was scorching hot outside, but they have umbrellas every few feet along the line, which definitely helps. I had always imagined walking into a large bakery or café where you could sit down with a cookie and coffee. Instead, it's actually a tiny, dark, whimsical shop with a queue that wraps around to the displays. It almost feels like you're walking through a Harry Potter-inspired attraction with its gothic décor and old-world bakery vibe. Despite the small space, they have three checkout registers, so once you're inside, the line moves surprisingly fast. One tip for first-time visitors: don't rely on the cookie menu on the website. Many of those flavors are seasonal or limited editions. The menu card they hand you while you're waiting in line shows the flavors available that day, so decide what you want before you get to the register because ordering is pretty quick. Now for the cookies... Banana Bread Chocolate Chip - 20/10 Without question, the standout. It tasted like warm, homemade banana bread with added chocolate transformed into a giant cookie. Soft, flavorful, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. I would come back just for this cookie. Pistachio Toffee Chocolate Chip - 8/10 A delicious combination of sweet, salty, crunchy, and gooey. I can definitely see why it's one of their most popular flavors, but the banana bread still stole the show for me. Cookies & Cream - 5/10 It was just okay. Very rich and sweet, like a giant Oreo cookie but it didn't have the depth of flavor or uniqueness of the other two. I probably wouldn't order it again. The cookies are huge and easily shareable. The funniest part? My son bought an extra cookie to take home for his girlfriend...but after one bite, he decided to keep it for himself! And that's saying something because he's really into health and fitness and rarely eats sweets. If you're wondering whether Gideon's lives up to the hype, I'd say yes. The wait is worth it, and the Banana Bread Chocolate Chip completely stole the show. It's the cookie I'll be thinking about long after this trip.

Everyone wanted the Cookies & Cream cookie, so I ordered three of those, plus a Chocolate Chip and a Coffee Cake cookie. Since we were on a tight schedule, we grabbed our order and hurried to the car. That's when we realized we'd been given three Double Chocolate Chip cookies instead of the three Cookies & Cream cookies we ordered. The register and receipt both showed Cookies & Cream, so I know my order was taken correctly. I do wish I had checked the bag before leaving, but I assumed everything was right. The cookies themselves are good--the chocolate cookies are loaded with chocolate chips, and the Coffee Cake cookie is absolutely delicious. I'd highly recommend that one. That said, these cookies aren't inexpensive, so it's really disappointing to pay that much and not receive what you actually ordered. Unfortunately, that experience is why I'm giving only one star.
