Tally-Ho is a small hometown diner that we visited on our Vacation in the end of August 2025. It is about 20 mins. from the Baseball Hall of Fame. We went on a Friday night and the place was crowded for the Friday fish fry. This cozy old fashioned diner reminded me of my Grandparents. They would have loved this place! The food was amazing for a diner. The wait staff was so friendly. Prices are reasonable. It honestly was a trip back in time to my childhood. We really enjoyed it very much, as places like this don't exist anymore where we live. I suggest you stop by if you're in the area. The nostalgia family friendly atmosphere was very nice in this fast food world. I would like to again Thank the anonymous lady who paid for my family of 4s dinner that night. What a great dinner spot. I had a Ruben and it came more like a pastrami with cheese. No dressing, no sauerkraut, on rye. But I liked it. My wife's burger was delish and a mountain of fries. I should have had fish n chips or the fried chicken dinner. Both looked great. We are next door at the village inn. This was so good we'll be back for breakfast. The motel is across the lot. This restaurant has been a family favorite for my entire life. Heather runs a great business here. Food is always good, whether it's breakfast or lunch.. always good! This is a kid friendly place, they even will give your kids a crayon box and coloring book to keep them entertained while you eat. This is a gem in Richfield Springs! read more

The restaurant was closed. Unable to eat there. So we walked down the street to Cassidy Diner for breakfast. Nothing special just good breakfast. Coffee was good so I was happy. Tried Tally Ho next day still closed. Must only b open on weekends. read more

The best breakfast I have ever had. Fresh home cooked meals, pies, sides, and milkshakes. I had the corned beef hash with 2 farm fresh eggs over easy with home fries and rye toast along with fresh squeezed orange juice, and a side of delicious crispy yummy bacon. It was so good. I drive 5 hours to get there so we make a weekend trip around this place! They serve breakfast and lunch. I have been going here for over 30 years, and they have always been consistent with delicious home cooked meals. I love going here and you will too. Did I mention the prices, oh incredible prices, inexpensive not cheap but definitely inexpensive. So worth it!!! Try the steak or burgers I highly recommend everything and the big huge onion rings. I just used the Tally-Ho restaurant for a work related catering event and Heather and the staff were awesome! We ordered a large breakfast spread of different breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, and French toast and all of the food was excellent. The food was ready for pickup (and fresh) right on time! The team loved the spread and would definitely recommend to anyone in the area. If we ever go back up there, then we will be sure to return to Tally-Ho. Thanks so much again! read more

Ok diner food, I had the Fish reuben,, as unusual as it sounds, it was pretty good. I was underwhelmed by the strawberry rhubarb pie though, seemed like the filling was just cornstarched juice, no annoying fruit parts.. but the crust was good.. I 'd eat there again. read more

I just got back home from my bucket list travel to Richfieldsprings ny. I lived with the owners Doug&Sue Tabor back in 1957 thru 1960.I started working in the restaurant then at 13 years of age.It has been 57 years since i left and in returning my first stop was the Tally Ho.I brought my 46 year old son who put up with my tales of the area and the restaurant his whole life and i must tell you the staff and the food are as wonderful today as in 1957-1960.Heather and staff helped bring back the history of the Tally Ho and Richfieldsprings and now my son has fallen in love with the memories.You will not find a better place to eat within 50 miles. I live on the eastern sea coast and have never had a fish fry as delicious as that at Tally Ho. In closing i wish to thank Heather and her staff for maintaining the Tally Ho tradition. God bless all. We stumbled across the Tally-Ho on our way to a music festival and enjoyed it so much that we stopped again on the way home too. It then became our yearly tradition on our way to moe.down. Both the dinner and breakfasts were great and the staff was very pleasant and attentive. The thing that really got us coming back was the pie though. We always get pie after our meal and a few pies to take with us. Every one we tried was great but if I had to pick a favorite it would be the strawberry rhubarb. read more

Heather and the staff at the Tally-Ho are hardworking and this restaurant is a mainstay in the community. It's where the community locals meet and catch up on the area news and people. Check out the specials! It's an affordable place to eat and the Friday night fish fry is an area favorite. The back room of the restaurant serves as a meeting place for the local Rotary and many groups use that as their place for gatherings. Heather caters local functions. Plenty of parking and the vintage car shows through the summer on Monday nights are a fun small town happening. read more
