This place is so yummy! Dont forget your small places! Great coffee, good people, good eats! Cozy place for lunch!

My husband and I stopped by here for some breakfast tacos on our way home from Durant, and man-oh-man, I'm glad we did! For starters, the chips and salsa were sooooo good! (I ended up buying 16 oz of the green sauce to go.) I ordered two of the potato, egg, and cheese breakfast tacos but could only eat one because they were bigger than I expected. I took the other to-go for later. My husband had a chorizo taco and a tamale plate and ate every bit of it. The service was great, as well. This little hole in the wall delivers big on flavor and service! Give it try! You won't regret it!

Cute place. Friendly service. Good authentic food. All made from scratch. Give this place a try to taste really good tamales.

If I could give our visit a 3 1/2 I would. It was our first time and some things I liked and others I didn't. My husband liked his meal, it was a Pork Tamale Plate with Chili and Eggs . He said he would give it a 4, he thought the tamales and chili were good. We both liked the beans, not my favorite, but by far not my least favorite. We both liked their Hot Sauce and would give it a solid 4, I really enjoyed eating it, it was pretty much my favorite thing. My husband liked their Green Salsa the most and would give that a 4 1/2. I was disappointed in my tamale selection. We drove about 1 1/2 hours one way and I was looking forward to their Sweet Potato Tamale, but did not have any available. I also asked for a Brisket Tamale , but they had none of those available either. I was told they had pork, chicken, and spinach tamales to choose from so I settled for a spinach one. I did not like it and gave the rest to my husband, the masa tasted like blueberries to me. ‍ I did get two breakfast tacos and I liked the No. 4, Potatoe, Cheese and Potatoes one. I would give them a 3, that tasted very average to me. I got a Spinach Breakfast Taco and did not like that at all, I'd probably give it a 1 1/2 or 2. The waitress was pleasant and there were no problems there. I'm glad my husband enjoyed his plate and I really did enjoy the hot sauce.

Great customer service and speedy transactions for food pick up. I've only gotten the tamales to go. They have them made and ready to sell. You have the option of buying them cold Incase you won't be eating them right away. They stay fresh for a couple of days in the fridge. Authentic Mexican taste for sure. Regular size therefore I think they could sell for $10 not $15. Other than the price my whole first experience was great.

Nice lunch today all though no salamander to heat plates it was tasty, we will return if you do decide to go watch your parking.

Ole' what a find in Sherman, Texas! Lupe's World Famous Tamales are worldly tasty. We tried the specialty plate; smoked pork, spinach and tamale all with the perfect balance of masa to filling. You will have room for chips and some very tasty salsa. These tamales are gluten free also! One more thing...there is a full menu and the chile relleno was rich and well prepared. We had the owner John serve us which really spiced up the evening. Gracias

Everything came out quickly, and our incredible waitress made us feel genuinely taken care of!!! (I wish I would have understood and asked her to repeat her name because she is a true blessing!!!) The food and drinks were just as impressive. We ordered the carne asada along with an enchilada and taco combo plate, plus a piña colada. The carne asada was cooked perfectly and paired with charro beans that were packed with flavor. The chicken enchilada was delicious, and the beef crunchy taco added the perfect texture to the plate. The chips and salsa were some of the best we've ever had super fresh with great flavor!! And while the piña colada had coconut on the rim (not my personal favorite), the drink itself was incredible. We loved the atmosphere, bright lights, fun decor and had super fun photo wall in the entrance we loved! Overall, such a great experience. We will definitely be stopping back in anytime we're in the area!

Every one was so happy and conversing at each table. As the orders arrived all around us , you could see the pleasure and anticipation on their faces. Started with chips and hot sauce. 7 layer dip appetizer was mouthwatering Veggie Quesadillas as main course Chicken Quesadillas too. Chicken Fried Steak with French fries and a side salad was exceptional. One anomaly is they don't have mashed potatoes!!! Weird They do offer a baked potato. Our waitress was so caring, knowledgeable, and talented. The atmosphere and vibe is everything you could hope for in a restaurant like this. One guy next to us eats here several times a week. Thank goodness for her she saved the day. She made me an amazing cocktail. The Popping Boba Margarita was delicious. The ingredients were fun and tasty. The food fell short for me on this visit. Let me start with the good. The fries were hot and well seasoned. The elotes bowl was pretty flavorful. Now here's the BAD...The ribs were AWFUL. They were dry and had no flavor or seasoning. They didn't taste good at all. They were so bad I don't think they were fit for a dog to eat. The manager came to the table and I appreciate he removed them from my bill. I hate sending back food, but sometimes it is necessary. Overall a decent visit, the drink, fries and elotes were good. But this is the only time I have hated eating my ribs at any Chili's.

So for our 56th anniversary we decided to go back and try the new Southwestern Queso. We decided to sit in the bar, as we like the high booths, and we were greeted immediately by our server. I asked for a "house" margarita and was told it is no longer available. Since it was our anniversary I opted for the more expensive Patron margarita, and it was the best margarita I've ever had in my 77 years. The tequila is smooth, and the Citrónge is addictive. No "mix" taste - just delicious. The new queso comes with salsa and chips, and we loved it and much prefer it over the former queso. It was milder, slightly spicy with a hint of lime. My husband enjoyed the chicken crispers, and I had the buffalo chicken ranch sandwich, which was messier than I remember but still good. Our server was outstanding - friendly, helpful, and attentive, plus she helped us use a coupon and get another discount to help with that expensive margarita. :D As a side note, we used to go to the original Chili's in Dallas back in the early 1980s, and we would to have to stand in line just to get in. It was always crowded with a noisy, welcoming ambiance, and they had a charming little train that ran around the ceiling. I always got the Terlingua Chili Burger. We miss that old place!
