Leo and his friend who works at Príncipe, whose name I never go out because I was focused on the tacos were extremely friendly as was everyone else. Even though the taco only cost two dollars Leo through in the water, I don't know why, but it was a very nice gesture. I have course gave him triple the value back in a tip. While I was sitting there eating, they describe the business every day. Leo brings fresh food. Whatever he doesn't sell, he throws out. I drove the 10 blocks to where my restaurant was, sat out in front. Put my car in drive and drove back to El Chaparro That's how good it was and how friendly everyone hovering around Leo stand was. They thought it was hilarious that I came back. While I was there. Another street vendor came up with a dessert. I bought dessert from her while she was eating Leo's tacos. I tried all three of the tacos. The chicken was excellent. The Asada was my favorite and the Al Pastor was also excellent. Leo also offers catering if you're holding a party. The tacos are two dollars apiece .

For some reason, that is the hardest and messiest thing to cut up! His stand is always clean and he puts all fruit rind, peel, and any other trash in a large box below. His surroundings are also clean. I can appreciate that, especially being a street vendor, you already know that you can't eat food from every street vendor. You have to be careful or you'll end up with a gnarly infection or poisoning and can become best friends with your toilet, either by hugging it with your arms or your legs! He has watermelon, pineapple, mango, oranges, coconut, cucumber, jicama, etc. You can get it plain or he can put chili y limón con tahine! Try it! It's really good. I like to get mine on the side, because I like to enjoy it both plain and with the mixture, plus I like mine a little spicier, so I tend to put more of the mixture on mine. He will gladly mix the tahine and salt in a little baggy and give you limes on the side. This guy is really nice and welcoming and there tends to be a line of people stopping by all the time, especially on a hot day. He is definitely busy and everyone knows he's here, so he has regulars, which speaks to his friendliness and character.

They make fresh tortillas, the quality and flavor of the meat is great, and they don't skimp on the portion size. My recent visit, they are no longer taking zelle but still accept apple pay, venmo, and cash.
