He has learned many skills and wonderful attributes to carry with him through his life's journey. To earn a black belt he had to be discipline, patience and persistent. Learning to defend yourself during a confrontation is a wonderful skill but learning to walk away with confidence is a great skill to have in life. You have to roll in the previous classes massive piles of sweat and it's absolutely disgusting. So much bacteria. Train elsewhere!

The studio is…read moresmall and if you sign up for unlimited classes, be aware that if you drop your kids off I have seen times when children have been asked to sit out when classes get too full. The instructor seems to get overwhelmed at times with challenging students and the discipline of the class as a whole is affected. Certain classes listed in the website are not always offered, such as Self defense. Finally, through no fault of her own, my daughter's membership was cancelled when I requested a written list of the sparring equipment required for the sparring class. A new item was required pet insurance guidelines, and as my daughter had ADHD, I wanted her to see the list of items required to participate. Many students forget their equipment and some do not have all of the equipment. It is important to understand how important this is in contact sports. In less than a day of this request we were expelled and refunded the remainder of our 6month tuition. Businesses absolutely have the right to refuse services to anyone. I am absolutely shocked that a business owner, teacher, martial arts instructor, would expel someone for asking for safety standards.

I picked a 30 minute time for a consult and was sent several reminders via text that they were not paid for their time for the consult and if I "no show I wouldn't be given another chance". I was gung ho to start the challenge knowing at some point there would be a twist. The twist was immediate-a $599 fee for the 6 weeks but if you lost 25lbs or a certain body fat percentage in that time you'd get you're money back-hence the "free". I was so disappointed by this bait and switch of sorts. They've such a good exercise plan of 9 3 min rounds that's so appealing but I just can't do it knowing how shady their sales approach is. *Update 7/17/2018 I posted one comment on their FB ad and they not only deleted it but blocked me as well. Again --- there is nothing "free" about them.
