You looking for ramen on OKC - this place is pretty darn good. Very flavorful ramen with great ingredient inputs. Nice atmosphere and the service is always attentive. Love this place!
Easily the best ramen spot in OKC. This time we came in for their A5 Wagyu special event where the meat was flown in from Japan. The broth was flavorful and the chilli added the perfect kick and warmth to the dish. A5 Wagyu tataki had a delicious citrus zest to it that was a burst of flavor. As always the service was fantastic! Highly recommend trying their karage as a starter as well
This place is great, theres parking on the street that you have to pay for. The ramen is delicious. I would really recommend their garlic fried rice. We came in as a group of 6 and it took us about 20 min to get seated. Service was great.
Super yummy! Great service! I got the creamy vegan ramen and it was just what I was looking for! The interior was also super cool and they had some fun shows playing!
Tamashii is a hip spot in Midtown. It has a cool atmosphere with plenty of seating for groups. I enjoyed the dimly lit interior with various anime playing from projectors. I came with a large group to eat, but I could see myself coming just for drinks as well. They had various types of sake, Japanese beer and cocktails. The food menu has ramen classics and other Japanese items such as bao and Takoyaki. I tried some edamame and it was seasoned perfectly and had a hint of sweetness from whatever sauce was on it. I ordered the curry ramen and was happy with how it came out. The cheese was a nice and unique touch to give it a lot more depth and creaminess. The diced chasu was also plentiful, there was a lot! I enjoyed the curry broth too as Japanese curry anything is one of my favorite comfort foods.
After a long flight, I wanted to try my favorite comfort food in the city: ramen! The wait was estimated to be an hour for my party of 3, but it turned out to be about 20-25 minutes. The staff were welcoming and answered any questions we had. The food itself was wonderful, the ramen offered a smoky/peppery taste from the broth. The noodles were springy and a bit more firm than my likely, but overall a good ramen. The sides were great too. I recommend visiting Tamashii ramen, great food at an affordable price!
My order was wrong and not very good because of it. I'm not a big ramen person to begin with , but my son and daughter in law love it. Of course their place they used to go in Las Vegas they liked better and I have to agree. I ordered the Spicy Ramen and they gave me the Miso soup , not the broth. It was too sweet and thick and took away from the jalapenos and even when I put the Choo Choo Kara in it which was Level 2 it just didn't do it. My son even order a side of Spicy Pork which I added a little too and the sweet corn soup was just too overpowering. We live in Mustang , so I wasn't going to drive all the way back to get it corrected of course. My son got the Spicy Miso Ramen and it was essentially the same as mine except for no jalapenos. My daughter in law got the Ninniku Tonkotsu , which I didn't get to try since she didn't get off of work till late. I had thought about getting that one instead of the Spicy Ramen. We also got an order of Karaage Chicken with Lemon and Golden Sauce. It was pretty good. I wanted 2 of the Chicken Thigh Skewers that was on the menu , but they said they no longer sell those. I would have rather had those than the Karaage Chicken. The cashier seemed to be new and maybe that's why my order got messed up. I did get a 10% Military Discount that she had to call a Manager over to give me. It was still $60.00 and my son and daughter in law both said it's not as good as our place in Las Vegas , but they haven't found a better ramen place to go to yet. They also said they haven't found a really good Chinese place yet , but found a good Thai place.
Cute little hipster ramen bar in OKC. For OKC I was impressed. Now, this is coming from someone that has been to Tokyo. They had an amazing selection of sake and the customer service was spot on. The food probably would have gotten 3.5 stars. I had the Tonkatsu with a spice bomb. The flavor of the ramen was good except the smell had hints of a farm raised unhappy pig. You know the smell, a little gamey, a little funky, kind of like "out of doors." It still tasted pretty good and the pork definitely didn't taste like it smelled, it was better. There definitely could have been more Chashu and it was missing a few ingredients like nori. The egg, however, was cooked to perfection. I'd go back because overall it was good, but just be prepared for the funky soup...
Swung by to pick up rammen to go. Packaging that kind of entree is challenging so we had low expectations. We couldn't have been more wrong. First of all, the packaging. The rammen travels beautifully. It was a fantastic surprise. We had some karaage, gyoza, spicy miso ramen and the curry rammen. Everything is delicious and flavorful.
The food was really good! We got the Miso Butter Corn Ramen! Added an egg to it, which was great! Our server Rene was great and in a timely manner! The ambiance was nice, the new remodel has turned up the dining experience!
This is my daughter's go to restaurant when she comes home. I've now visited 3 of their locations and each time I get the same great experience! The food is always delicious and service is great.
Good ingredients and presentation. It really wants to be legit and the ramen is really close. (We lived in Japan so I consider myself an expert ) The takoyaki was perfect - seasoned batter and double the normal amount of Octopus. Total winner. We got Niniku Tonkotsu as our ramen with kikurage and an extra egg. The soup and all the ingredients, except the noodles and chashu, were excellent. The noodles weren't al dente (too hard) and the chashu was a weird texture because of how thick the cut was, almost jammy inside. The eggs were STELLAR. In the US you normally get cold eggs that just get thrown in your soup. Not here. Sooo good. Our waitress was great and very kind. We sat on the patio which was blessedly cooled. I'd eat here again if I were in the area

Turns out we were in the same sorority (obviously different years). The restaurant was clean and quiet. It had a nice bar and the decor was well done. The serving sizes were good! We didn't finish all of our food. We had the left overs and it was still delicious!

I've gone to tamashii a good amount now. They're pretty consistent and their service stays good even during busier hours. I like the renovations they've done to their original building. There's a lot more seating which is nice. Their ramen is great too. My personal favorite is the garlic ramen and the mazemen. They give you a decent amount of noodles and toppings. This was my first visit to Tamashii Ramen House in Oklahoma City. From the moment we pulled up, the place looked clean, organized, and well maintained. They have outdoor seating available, but we decided to sit inside where everything was neat, tidy, and running like a well-oiled machine. The staff throughout the restaurant were friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. Unfortunately, our first table felt like it was sitting directly under the Arctic Circle, so we politely asked to be moved. Thankfully, that wasn't a problem. Once relocated, we landed in Ms. Jemara's section. Ms. Jemara was a sweet young lady with a warm smile, a friendly personality, and excellent customer service. She was attentive, welcoming, and checked on us throughout our meal without hovering. For drinks, my sister ordered a Coke while I went with a glass of water and an Orion beer. For appetizers, I ordered the Chicken Karaage and a side of Gyoza. For my main course, I chose the Vegan Miso Butter Corn Ramen and added a Nitamago egg. The Chicken Karaage was nice and crispy and made for a good starter. The Gyoza was enjoyable as well. As for the ramen, it was decent--certainly not the best I've ever had, but far from the worst. What surprised me was learning that the owners are from Okinawa, Japan. I was expecting a broth packed with rich, bold flavor, but this vegan broth came across a little milder than I anticipated. To be fair, this was my first time trying a vegan ramen broth, so that may have played a role. Since I don't eat pork, I've sampled quite a few different styles of ramen over the years, and while this bowl was good, I've personally had more flavorful versions elsewhere. Even so, the restaurant was clean, the service was excellent, and Ms. Jemara helped make the experience an enjoyable one. read more

I was passing through the area and my friend recommended this ramen spot. The place was a little dark so it was hard to see and talk to my friend sometimes even though we came early afternoon. However we really enjoyed the ramen, I had the butter corn miso ramen and it was really good. I love how much corn they had in there and the pork was really good. Overall, a really good ramen spot to come with your friends, there are many options other than ramen! read more
Traveled to OKC for our 1 year wedding anniversary to enjoy some Tamashii. As always, the staff are polite and helpful, the food is tasty, the fried rice is still a must. The ambiance at this location and Norman are different vibes, check out both! Different vibes but not in a bad way, you just definitely want to see both. 10/10 as always-- delish! read more

Adding a review where I dined at their revamped spot updated in August of 2025, they added a nice new annex with a great bar and also a case with Pokemon and other anime/manga collectibles, figurines and cards on sale. Also new menu items like the tebasaki wings. Great service in addition. Highly recommend checking out the new revamped restaurant! read more

Thursday night dinner at Tamashii Ramen. The outside of the building is uninspiringly ordinary. The inside of the venue is dimly lit, the menus were so worn that they were difficult to read. It has a dive feel, but the food was good. Thoroughly enjoyed the pot stickers and the Ramen was excellent. We ordered one to share and the server asked if we wanted it split and served in two bowls. Didn't have to ask, a nice service touch. Half order of the Ramen was adequate. read more

Tried it once and been back about 3 times... never had ramen this good. Don't think you could order wrong here. Be prepared to wait for a table if you are at the downtown OKC location. Once you order it doesn't take too long to get your food and it will be hot and large portion size! Downtown OKC location is really hip and cozy inside but small read more

I immediately found a parking spot which was great. As I walked into the door I was greeted by a very friendly staff. My waiter then escorted me to my table. I then ordered the Garlic Ramen and Takoyaki Octopus. The Ramen was very delicious and it was a very large portion. I definitely had enough to take home. Then I took my first bite of the Octopus and it tasted so good, it was exquisite. The sauces on top went nicely with it. I am from out of town but will definitely make a trip just to come and eat here again. It was that good! Also, it was very affordable. What I also noticed was the projector playing anime onto the wall making the feel of the restaurant more original to a real Japanese Restaurant in Japan. It was a great experience and amazing food. 10 out of 10. read more

If you are looking for an incredible meal, great atmosphere, paired with truly outstanding service, this is a fun family place to go. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The speed of service was impressive without ever feeling rushed. We all had custom ramens, one vegan with oat milk. No picture of the garlic fried rice, but it was amazing so we had to eat it right away. read more
