The food was delicious and the service was great. They have buttons on the table so it's really easy to let your server know when you need something. The aesthetic in there is super cool and they play K-pop.

The ambiance has you feeling like you stepped in a k-pop concert usually easy to walk in a get seated, service is quick, there's a button to press when you're ready to order or are needing staff. The Korean wings are so flavorful and the crunch on them karaoke on top of all it, you will need to book a room in advance.

I went here and celebration on my 50th. I reserved a large room and it was fun. We kept singing. It was a very fun experience. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable. The food and drinks were delicious.

Wow. I don't even know where to start! 10/10 the atmosphere was amazing! THE VIBES. Decorated amazing & music was popping (quite loud so don't expect an intimate conversation). The chairs and tables are a bit small but are cool because they open up to secure your bag! 9/10 on food. Surprisingly everything was tasty. Portions were good. As you can see, we ordered a lot of different dishes to try so we had a lot of leftovers. 8/10 for service! Our servers were so sweet and kind. I think there was just miscommunication between one of the dishes we ordered... was told the seafood soup was out so we switched to pork but then had a seafood soup come out? Idk. NBD. I would def come back again and try to get a karaoke room!

Another update review of this place after coming back to OKC after my sabbatical- same great food items and some additions. K-Pop screens are excellent as well. Best parr is that it is still open late! Nice service and cool atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Came here with a group of friends to eat on a Friday night The interior is decorated very vibrantly with kpop playing in the background. As for the food, most Korean places I usually go to serve banchan (side dishes) but here, they serve popcorn which was... different lol. As for the food this is what we ordered: Corn Cheese- pretty good! Seafood Pancake- this was just okay, I'd probably skip this one next time Honey Garlic Chicken- delicious! It was a little too salty but the chicken was hot, crispy, and juicy Seoul Spicy cream udon- my favorite dish of the night! It had so much seafood and the savory/creamy/spicy sauce was so addicting Steamed egg- good! But honestly, this is hard to mess up haha Tteokbokki- the rice cakes were nice and chewy and the sauce had a good balance between sweet and spicy. What I really loved about this place is that they offer a student discount of 20% off (per dish)! Thanks to that deal and the promotion that they had with the seoul spicy cream udon, we saved almost $40. Aside from that, our server was great and we all had a good experience here.

I went here after looking for a place for my boyfriend's birthday lunch. I didn't know what to expect. I've seen lots of good reviews and I knew this would be perfect. I didn't realize that the lunch and dinner have different menus. So for lunch you get a plate, kind of like a bento box where you get to pick your main dish and you get a couple sides too. I don't like fish, so I got to swap the fish cakes for kimchi. I love kimchi and they have some pretty good kimchi! It's not too spicy! I loved all my food. The side of japchae was so good. I could have a whole dish of that and be happy. I really want to go back to try their dinner menu too! I didn't try any karaoke or anything, but I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. We will be back.

Incredible Korean food and amazing vibes. I've been here twice so far. The first time I came here with one friend and we enjoyed several different dishes including the free popcorn, fries, and the original tteokbokki. The tteokbokki was super spicy, but its just like we wanted! The second time I came here was with a group of friends who reserved the larger karaoke room. We sang our hearts out and enjoyed food and drinks, and even some shots. During the karaoke session, the server came out and had a wheel that would could spin and wine a prize anywhere from a free beer, free soju drink, free food, or free shot! Our server were also very helpful towards us in navigating how to use the karaoke system since a lot of the instructions including the remote were in Korean. I highly recommend this spot for delicious Karaoke food and entertainment via Karaoke singing!

Love love love this place! I love the karaoke room! I came here for a party and we had a fantastic time sharing food and the drinks were sweet but great and our server was very attentive. I really enjoyed the honey chicken and the corn cheese.

Food is great but service is lacking. We came in and it took around 5 mins to even be acknowledged. Once we were, they said it'll be a minute to clear off a table but 20 mins later a different employee asked if we were waiting for food but we told her we were waiting for a table. It's just not ideal to see empty tables available but be ignored and not seated. We've been here in the past and service hasn't changed but the food taste and quality has been consistently good. Once seated you view the menu via QR code, and then order by pushing a button on the table to alert the staff. We got the kimchi jjigae with pork and rose ttebboki! Food was delicious! We also got a Lychee soju drink and it was good, just a little too sweet for my taste. Would be better off just drinking the flavored soju straight up. Haven't tried the karaoke but looks so fun! I've been to karaoke rooms in other cities and glad to have that option now in OKC!

Food was awesome and server was nice. He forgot our corn cheese at first and even though it didn't take a super long time to get it, he took it off our bill, which was so sweet. Loved the decor as well. Loved the bulgogi stew.

Food is amazing. the prices are a little high (~$20 per entree) and no half portions. They don't have banchan and you can't order kimchi on the side. The chairs are plastic and really uncomfortable. The ambiance is very lowkey / casual which was surprising to see the prices. The mala tteokbokki was SO GOOD!!! Kimchi pancakes were also good. Spicy pork stir fry was nothing special. Soju cocktail was very syrupy and hardly drinkable. Service was friendly but understaffed. There were 2 waitstaff helping the entire restaurant.

You don't have to do karaoke to have fun here! Four of us shared a table and funky, tiny chairs and totally had a great time. Started with the complimentary spices popcorn and soju cocktails--they come in four sizes and pack a punch!--before ordering. We were all looking forward to the Korean corn cheese and it did not disappoint, very delicious and torched table-side.

I got out of my Uber, and I saw a couple walking into the main building. One would assume that everyone is there for art and passes by thinking nothing of it, but I knew there was a secret entrance waiting to be found. I tipped my Uber and walked in. The couple was gone, and all that was left were closed shops in a long wooden hallway. In the Hallway was a man in normal clothes. He said, "The lounge?" Yes, I replied, and he asked for my ID. I showed it to him, then he pointed to a black box on the wall with a moon sticker on it. I pushed it, and the wall opened like an Indiana Jones movie. First impressions are important, and I was impressed. The hidden entrance established the secrecy and exclusivity that I expected from a speakeasy. The Lunar Lounge featured a 1990s retro space theme. This included decorations and art. They had their business logo on the wall, a mural of a naked women sitting on a crescent moon with long red hair covering her private parts. There was a robot-shaped snack machine with a mini tube television for a head, static on the screen with angry black electrical tape making his eyes and mouth. The music was energetic without overpowering people's conversations. Calling ahead of time, I met with a bartender who explained to me that they had no intention of becoming a speakeasy; they wanted to create a safe place for their friends who were part of the LGBT community to express themselves out of sight of public view without fear of judgment or discrimination. Basically, meeting every requirement of a Modern Speakeasy. The owner did a good job creating a convivial atmosphere. People were friendly and socially warm in this relaxed environment. According to the Annuals of Tourism, "Convivial atmospheres are powerful in that they carry with them a transformative potential in terms of individuals' openness to and anticipation of future encounters, and their attendant feelings"(Rokka). The Hosts, therefore, created an Atmosphere catered to their intended Patrons. Even though the secret entrance and the atmosphere made this speakeasy impressive, the focus is on the drinks. Now, a bartender does not need to be a master at mixology, but for the sake of the evaluation, there are a few things people tend to look for in a drink. I personally evaluate a cocktail based on the balance of sweetness, acidity, bitterness, and aftertaste. According to the International Entrepreneurship and Management Journal, "mixologists, with their aesthetic approach, contribute to transforming mixology into a form of cultural and creative expression" (Creta). I ordered a sophisticated drink from their menu, wondering what they might do differently. I ordered their Cosmopolitan, a signature cocktail. Instead of putting one shot or two shots, the bartender put a shot and a half. This made the alcohol blend in with the sweetness, not too sweet, so that someone would not drink it too fast. With the cranberry juice, he added a space candy garnish shaped like the moon, and as it dissolved, it started to dye the drink blue. After I finished the drink, I ordered it again from a different bartender, and she made it the same way. I saw consistency; all their signature cocktails looked cold, full of artistic expression, and used high-quality ingredients. Now, an argument I would consider valid concerning Speakeasies is: "A real Speakeasy is a traditional hidden room within a restaurant or cave with formal attire and with jazz music." And to a point, I would agree, but at that time, cave networks were maintained, and Restaurants were a family business where you could make a secret room without corporate overreach or whistleblowing. Those places were modern at the time. Today, Speakeasy simply means to go somewhere to drink away from the general public to speak easily. This could be two construction workers getting off work to go to an exclusive place where most union workers go to relax after work, to a private room where two politicians talk shop out of earshot of the public, or to a restaurant turning into a bar after business hours and bringing in a DJ, karaoke or actual theatre. All of these activities meet the constantly changing environment that would and could be seen in a speakeasy. Ultimately, the Lunar Lounge succeeds because it captures the cultural purpose of a speakeasy, with secret doors leading to a convivial atmosphere and well-made cocktails. Based on my data and experience at the Lunar Lounge, I would consider it a modern speakeasy. The 18th Amendment wasn't just about stopping the sales of alcohol. It was about stopping people from expressing themselves in America and spreading cultural influence. The Lunar Lounge met my basic evaluation of a speakeasy, not just the physical building, but also the Freedom of Expression that its customers enjoyed.
