Lunch special is a good deal even if you only eat the rolls. Rolls are made with high-quality ingredients better than a popular sushi spot that rhymes with zolcano. Salad was mostly Iceberg. Brought my daughter to grab some sushi and the sushi did not disappoint. The super lady roll is amazing and a must try! The service was good, not too chatty, but was super nice. The restaurant is small not much room but has a nice bar top to sit at. Lighting is dark, tv up, and light music playing. I got our usual steak yaki soba and the noodles were amazing but the steak was bland and tough. We also got the calamari and it literally came with 5 and was not worth the price. read more

Service was good had the hibachi they cooked it on there hibachi and brought it to the table we didn't care for it they put teriyaki sauce on all the food and we didn't ask for it, just weird. Wish the waitress told us or at least ask if we wanted teriyaki sauce on our food. read more

***UPDATE*** I haven't been seeing much about the drastic price increase at Sapporo, but I'm very saddened by it. I know times are tough, but dang, they really raised their prices quite a bit AND removed so many special options from their menu! The lunch special used to be $8.95 for 2 rolls and $11.95 for 3... now it's $12.95 for 2 and $15.95 for 3. That's a $3-4 increase! And the regular rolls like spicy tuna have gone up from $5.50 to $8.95... I loved sapporo for their affordability but to be honest these price hikes & smaller menus are disappointing. read more

The only reason I'm giving this restaurant, a two star is because the crab ragoons were the best that I have ever had. Other than that for the money (cough cough $100 @ LUNCH) that me and my husband spent I was very disappointed in the presentation of the food. They literally just threw everything on the plate. Well, starting out there were problems because even though the roll I wanted said it was snow crab I checked and it's fake crab!!!! So I ordered two rolls. I ordered the Hawaiian Roll which is described as "Inside: shrimp, cream cheese, avocado. Outside: mango, tobiko, & coconut sauce." I then ordered the Dancing Dream Roll which is described as "Inside: spicy scallop, crunchy. Outside: yellowtail, salmon, black tobiko & scallion." I wanted the Fire Island Roll which was described as "Inside: spicy tuna, spicy salmon, crunchy. Outside: snow crab, jalapeño & chili sauce." But the snow crab sadly was (as previously mentioned) FAKE CRAB! The Hawaiian Roll was sweet and my waitress had warned me. It also had too much cream cheese to where it was almost tacky.. I took out the cream cheese and literally half the inside was cream cheese. It was actually really good once I got rid of the cream cheese. The Dancing Dream Roll was spicy. The waitress did not warn me about that. Also, the inside appeared to have one scallop and a lot of spicy salmon inside to cover up the missing scallops. And zero crunchy anywhere. Pretty good sushi and decent prices compared to other locations around here. Service is good too. When I travel for business I always like to splurge one day on getting sushi and can be hard sometimes finding places with decent prices and making rolls I like that aren't made differently like how they would be from the west to east coast. But this place I would definitely come back too. The only reason I gave 4 stars was that they love to put spicy mayo on everything! I like spicy mayo but I wasn't expecting it to be on my plain tuna rolls. Next time I'll have to ask with it not on top of everything or just on the side. read more

Decided to try this new restaurant, glad we did. We were promptly greeted and seated. The menu has a a lot good options. Wife had the 2 of the spider rolls which she really enjoyed, it fresh, moist and delicious. I had the chicken teriyaki; fantastic and bold sauce with onions, carrots and bell peppers with side of fried rice, egg drop soup and salad. Sushi places in Yukon really struggle. There's always some kind of an issue. We dined in and tried a variety of dishes including the chicken katsu and sushi. The katsu was overcooked and dry. The tasty sauce that came with it didn't compensate enough for the dryness. The sushi was really good, but I never can remember which particular rolls we tried. FYI this isn't a traditional hibachi, as the food is cooked in the back. Since the dine in was decent, we tried take out the other day. They have combination dinners for $18-$23 where you can choose two entrees and get soup, salad, California roll, and gyoza. When I called, I made sure to ask that it would be enough for two people. They said a lot of people split the combo. It turns out that their take out is no where near dine in quality. The combo chicken teriyaki and steak teriyaki was in very small proportions, especially the steak. It was enough to split, but barely and only due to the sides. The salad and soup was lack luster (and they sent us the wrong soup). The California roll was not good. We didn't finish it because the avocados were overripe. The avocado made the whole roll a mushy mess. We were really disappointed. read more

I was pleasantly surprised. Normally when I pop into a sushi place for a quick lunch it is either dinner level prices, or subpar lunch menus. Sapporo had a great lunch selection and it cost me less than $20 for a nice meal. The food was great and the wait staff were better. They get an extra star for letting me substitute the sad salad you normally get with sushi for seaweed salad which was great. Overall, I was impressed and will be back. I don't eat sushi, but my wife does. Her spicy salmon roll well made, and didn't have an overpowering spice. It was freshly made, and a good value for the money. I got the Beef Negimaki for an appetizer. It's a thinly sliced beef wrapped around fresh scallion and cheese. It was delicious! We each picked out the katsu entree, she got the pork, I got the chicken. It was a good, lightly breaded, and perfectly seasoned. The banana boat dessert is just the right size to share. The ice cream is a light refreshing contrast to the rich warm lightly fried banana. I'm really glad that we stopped in tonight, even more so that it was a complete accident that we saw the place as we drove past. read more

So I've not been in the restaurant. We had food from here delivered during the Great Pandemic of 2020. I ordered sushi. The fish was very fresh. The other ingredients seemed fresh. The sushi rice was sub-par. Just no flavor. It was the kind of lack of flavor that almost sucked the flavor out of the other food it was with. I ended up adding a lot of wasabi and soy sauce (adding wasabi isn't unusual, but I only break out the soy sauce in sushi emergencies). My husband had hibachi. Beef and chicken combo. He said it was really good. The steak was tender and the chicken was moist. The sauces were tasty. We both got a salad and soup. The salad and ginger dressing were very good. The clear soup was also really good. I can't judge the atmosphere or even their tea choices. Yet. I would recommend the hibachi at this place, but not the sushi. 2/5 for the sushi and 5/5 for the hibachi. We'll probably go in person sometime to get hibachi and I can update then with everything else. read more
